Tyler Mallory, PhD, MBA runs a zoo, Sunrise Zoo.
Being in charge is not what it’s cracked up to be. Being tied to her computer and office has taken her away from the animals she loves.
Noah Landsgraff, DVM walks into her office and in to her life. The chemistry is inescapable. His laid-back attitude, sense of adventure, and love of animals rubs off on her. He gets her out of her office, and out of her shell. He reintroduces her to the zoo, its animals and nature.
Giraffes, Zara and Dante, become role models for romance. Tyler and Noah’s fondness for one another grows from professional to personal.
Noah leaves on a family emergency, and Tyler is, once again, on her own. Yet, Noah has influenced her. She becomes more confident and animal-centric. As her job responsibilities increase, so do her opportunities.
Returning to the Masai Mara in Kenya to continue her study of giraffes, is a dream come true. Once there, Tyler gets more than she bargains for.
A crisis back home, hastens her return to Sunrise Zoo, and Noah. Together, with teamwork, they persevere.

Purveyor of the written word, Nancy Loyan Schuemann has been writing ever since she began composing picture books for fellow students in elementary school.
After graduating with a BSBA degree in marketing from John Carroll University, she pursued a career in sales and marketing. She has incorporated those skills into a professional writing career. She is a freelance writer specializing in construction, design, architecture, histories, profiles, antique safes, dance, travel and special interest in local and national publications. She has since contracted with Crimson Romance, an imprint of F&W Media (Writer’s Digest Books, Cup of Comfort among others) for six novels. Three are currently available: Lab Test, Hearts of Steel and Wishes and Tears.
Travel has taken her around the world, including trips to Europe, Great Britain, South America, Egypt and the exotic Seychelles Islands.
