SHE'S FKIN BACCCKKK!!!!
Miss Jazzie is back and she ain't holding no punches. I lovvveddd it and loved it even more that my bae Magnolia have stepped in to regulate. Hunnnyy he just came and spilled all the tea, matter of fact he took the pot and flipped that bi¶ch over. Max knew he was different than his brothers but I bet he'd have never guessed that was why. I kinda feel bad for Bear and even though I know what he did to Janiyah was heinous my bae didn't have to put him on front street like that. Sundai should have gotten somebody else to do it. Ion know how to feel about Dhezy and Khyree just yet but I know I don't like Lotus. My heart really broke for Janiyah tho because her whole existence is a lie. At least she has the best big brother anyone could ask for.💌💌

Miss Jazzie when I say I am glad all is well with you and that you are back I mean from the bottom of my heart because baby you left no crumbs in this book. I am always happy when my boy show up and when he did he dropped a hella bombs. Janiya has been through so much and things are only getting started but with the type of bloodline she comes from she is definitely going to rise from the ashes and show them what she is made of. Maverick was pushed into doing something years ago that is now coming back to haunt him full force and hopefully his new found love can come back from it but I don’t doubt there will be obstacles he will have to overcome to get his happy ending. I really don’t like Mylo, Dhezt, Khyree, Faith or King they all are snakes and have hidden agendas and I can’t wait until they get their karma. Brasi is a sweetheart and has had the enemy in his life for the past five years and had no idea but I must say once he cleans up the mess I hope he finds the woman that’s made for him. Maximillian and Shakira are couples goals right now and it stays that way between with no added drama. I can’t wait until part 2 drops because it’s about to be a movie!!!

Miss Jazzie is back baby, and she never disappoints! Huni, ion even know where to start and ion like giving out spoilers🥴 This book pulls you in from the beginning til the end! (As always)…..if you like drama, secrets, and messy, this is definitely the book for you😂😂 From the momas, to the daddies, the sisters and brothers, baby can’t nbdy be trusted!! This is a real deal hood love story but the question is, which couples will be able to ride that storm out?? These uncovered secrets are gonna have all these characters at each other’s neck and a lot of things revealed are real deal eye openers for some of them! As I said, ion like to give spoilers so baby just get this book asap and read it for ur self! Matter of fact, gone head and pick up all her books…..Wheww, and I just knew whenever BAE popd back up, he was gon be messier than ever and I love it😂😂😂😂 so glad u’re back Miss Jazzie, I definitely missed you!!!

This is the first I’ve read from this author and when I say I rock with it, I mean just that! This here was 🔥🔥
First and got most despite the horrible situation and what had happened I rock with Bear and definitely at this moment rock with the grandmother Blizzy! She’s a force to reckon with!
As for Janiya, I honestly feel bad for her. She’s so lost and now more confused as she was before. Honestly hope she comes back from what was just laid out on the table. As much as everyone tried to protect her, they only made it all worst!
Now who we need to worry about is the loose cannon MAX. He just got it with a boom he was not expecting!
That mother though, Faith she a HOT MESS. How many kids does she have? Her kids are surfacing slow and I can’t wait until it all crumbs in her face. Now I see why she just keeps her mouth closed and agreed with her husband because her secrets are DEEP!
Honestly can’t wait for Part 2 because I need to know it ALL.

This series is gonna be lit. Part 2 needs to hurry up and come out. I hate all of my babies got put in this predicament. Bear didn't know, but Mylo and King gotta go cause they really f**ked up their kids' lives. I hope babygirl spare bear cause he was doing what he was ordered, and he was having nightmares from it, too. U did good on yet another book and I'm looking forward to reading more them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read

Don’t call it a comeback! Now that’s how you write a freaking book do you hear me! I was right about 4 things that happened! I’m still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor after that explosive ending! I can always count on him to make an interesting entrance that’s for sure! I need part 2 like asap because I got to know how they come back from all that! Like I need a blunt and a drink just thinking about it! I can already tell my nerves and edges ain’t gone be no good by the end of this series! Sensational!

Man this is hands down one of the best books I have read this year. Jazzie isn't playing any games. I like Mad Max but BEAR is MY man. It's so many secrets and twists I can't wait to see what happens next. I highly highly recommend this book (JC)

Girl I thought this book was going to follow only Bear and Janiya’s love story and only have their point-of-views. If I’d known it would be more than that, I wouldn’t have read this book. And I only finished it because random ass twists happened and I wanted answers. I won’t be reading the rest of the series though.
A lot of the conversations don’t flow naturally, characters repeat themselves or other characters quite a bit, the fourth wall is broken by some characters, and song lyrics are throughout this book. I did A LOT of skimming and side eyeing after a while. Also, the synopsis talks about Bear and Janiya, and I don’t even think they’re the most interesting couple. When I was actually reading this book, I found myself wanting to know more about Max and Shakyra.
Side note: I think Shakyra’s name was originally Fallon because in one of Max’s chapters, he calls her Fallon. I was confused af and kept rereading to see if I missed something. But who knows? That could’ve been a slip up and Fallon is someone who will be revealed later in the series 🤷🏾♀️ Either way, I’m not reading the other books to find out.

Miss MF Jazzie! Babyyy, you wrote the hell out of this book! Lord have all the mercy because when the skeletons started dropping out of the closet, my mouth was hung TF open! From jump, I knew it was gone be ish when Mylo all but traded Janiya to Bear. Sundai really doing some foul things like she don't know what these brothers capable of. Even if she didn't think so much on Brasi, if no one else, she should know Max is all about that life! Now she really won't live to tell the tale! Bear done had the nookie and hell broke loose but something tells me the end result won't be so bad! Oh, but I have a feeling big brother gone push the issue and HARD! I really want some insight into Lotus's family. I'm not sure if I missed it other than they are crooks and scammers. I don't know what Dhezi is holding over her head and I can't wait until it comes out! Max done let his soft side out with Shakyra but let it not be mistaken, he stands on business ALWAYS and after this dinner, who knows what will happen! Whenever Magnolia has to step in, we know it's gonna be some slowing singing and flower bringing. Come on with Part 2 because whewwwwwww! The teapot just went on the stove and people getting burned!

Janiya sure was sheltered from the life that Khyree and Dhezi were so accustomed to. Everyone hiding secrets and it’s crazy. Lotus is poison just like her name and now I see why. I wonder when Lotus gonna bring her son into the fold so he can meet his father. I see why Bear had no heart until he met Janiya and why Mad Max and Brasi are exactly how they are. Shakyra has been through the wringer dealing with her mom and her problem and I’m glad she’s finally a lil happier. Mylo and King need to settle their differences if they can and King needs to cough up that bread he owes. It’s his fault Janiya was sold to the highest bidder so to speak anyway. Mad Max and Shakyra fit with one another perfectly. I’m still mad at the decision he and come to find she’s not even who they say she is to them. I love Blizzy bc she’s definitely the realest out of everyone. This was a great part one and I can’t wait for the next installment to drop bc man I’m ready. Faith and Harmony got some explaining to do bc how they just living their lives like nothing happened or changed all those years ago? I’m so glad you bought Magnolia and Zenobia back. You never disappoint Miss Jazzie you have done it again 😊

I almost DNF’d!
First off, my nerves were shot with including song lyrics every other page. That was annoying, BUT the storyline intrigued me so I held on (I just skip the mess). 🙄
Janiya is the baby of the Alexander family and is untouchable. King, her father watches her like a hawk. Never letting her out of his sight. Especially after a very traumatic kidnapping happened when she was 16.

Truces are broken, family secrets spill out, deception exposed but love is in the midst. Whew chile! Headed for book 2 right freaking now!

Mouth wide open
Whewwwww chile. Jazzie does it again. When I tell you I could not put this book down. Baby I knew it was gone be some ish when I started to read chapter one. I cannot wait for part 2 cause they done brought out my husband and yes Nobbie I said MY husband get over it cause at this point we sister wives. Jazzie you wrong for that ending but so right at the same time. Please take this review as it is and read this book I promise you will not be disappointed. Jazzie has a fan for life in me

THIS IS CRAZY!!!
King and Mylo were boys like brothers until Mylo messed it up. Boy when I say those Haitian sons Maverick, Brasi and Max are all grown up. There father King banned Mylo and his family son Dhezi, daughters Kamryn and Janiyah out of New Orleans and they moved to ATL. When Janyiah decides to go back to the NOLA to see her BFF Shakira all hell breaks loose. Fathers are loosing the battle, docile women, Sons joining together but a trip to Vegas all hell is getting ready to break loose and OMG…IT’S BAD!!

Good story but need work.....
I love the story but character development was off. The characters were one way one chapter then different the next. Then there were times a thought was written down but not completed. At times I would ask why say that here when you said something different a couple of paragraphs ago. I believe the book need more development. Like I said before I loved the story just hard to follow. I did finish the first book. If the second book is the same I will not finish the book.

A great read
This book is definitely a page turner, so many secrets within king and Mylo is a devil in their family.Janiyah Discover Reason why she has so many headaches and Anxiety nightmares during his sleep. She knows how so wasn’t sitting right unless she find out the truth about who is really hurt her she given her Sacred sound, and slept with her enemy. Bear “This guy magnolia is, he’s spilling all the beans and he is Janaya’s brother The question is who is her real mother .. Bear knew karma was around the corner.

great book
Man when I tell you this book from beginning to end it really is. Janiyah was definitely hidden from all of her families dealings with anything including the truce with the other family. The Haitian Brothers were all crazy. Brasi wasn’t as bad as his brothers, but he definitely could be. Madmax is exactly how his nickname sounds and just as mean as he can be most of the time. Bear alone made me mad this whole book. I can’t wait for part 2.
