Ahora a esperar la historia de Jude.

Small town romance de segunda oportunidad , con madre soltera y enólogo gruñón.
Después de un romance adolescente explosivo, con un final abrupto y consecuencias muy duras para ambos, los protagonistas se reencuentran y aceptan un matrimonio de conveniencia en el cual los dos van a obtener algo que necesitan.
Me gustó mucho la química entre ellos y como el pasado se revela poco a poco.
Disfruté de los personajes secundarios, ( se vislumbra una saga con cada hermano). La niña, la mejor amiga, etc.
Mi queja: el villano es muy plano, la autora no le pone un solo matiz ni motivación más que la de ser malo.
Igualmente la historia es muy linda.
Lo recomiendo ♥️

He needs a fake wife, and she needs a home for herself and her daughter. They decide to enter into a marriage of convenience - he needs it to purchase a vineyard, while she needs a stable home for her daughter due to her current situation.
It's a quick and easy read, both light and cliché, making it an enjoyable book for any romance reader. I appreciated how the story develops throughout the book, with the characters sharing great chemistry and several pleasant moments together. Now that I think about it, I believe this is the first time I've read something by this author, and I enjoyed the experience.
It's a simple story, but addictive and straightforward in a way that makes it fun.

This book was better than I expected. The third act fight actually made sense and I understood why it occurred the way it did. It was also resolved fairly quickly which I liked. The book overall was pretty short which I slightly disliked because it resulted in a chapters that would zoom forward 6-8 weeks in the storyline and I would have rather seen more subtle changes and more fleshed out scenes rather than being told something had occurred. For example, Beck does something for Maggie and asks his family and friends to help. Instead of being told that I would have loved to read a scene of him asking and then all of them collaborating on the project. Overall a quick and fairly enjoyable read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, having read it in a day and could not put it down!
The book features compelling characters with Haley and Beckham. Strong lead characters where Haley isn't just an ordinary damsel in distress and Beckham isn't the typical knight in shining armour. Both characters with guilt dictating their lives, not fully ready to forgive themselves, find comfort in each other and fall in love despite all odds. Maggie adds cute humour and just makes you love her immediately.
The author narrates the story from dual perspectives, providing insight into both characters' lives, thoughts and emotions, while also exposing us to how their relationship develops over time. We get to see both characters dealing with their own struggles while helping each other navigate theirs.
There's curveballs thrown into their path to happiness but they are able to overcome it against all odds and have a happy ending they both deserve.

Married to the Frenemy by Tracy Leigh was hands down a favorite from this author! Seriously, from the very first page I was hooked. I am typically not a huge fan of fake romances but Ms. Leigh nailed it. It was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy.
Beckham and Haley were two fantastic characters. I loved the chemistry between the two of them-as much as they tried to fight it. They had a boatload of baggage from the past, and when Beckham proposes his idea of a fake marriage, I had no idea if they’d be able to move past it.
I truly loved this book so much! Ms. Leigh never fails to create magic with whatever genre she’s in. I adored the characters and I am so glad I gave it a chance! Highly recommend reading this book!

A mi no me van a vender como un acto de romance que el personaje principal en un ataque de ira por defender el honor de la personaje principal no reconozca a la susodicha y la tire por un balcón rompiéndole todos los huesos de la cadera. Los quiero guillotinados en la plaza pública.

El libro trata sobre una madre soltera que necesita un hogar para su pequeña hija y acepta casarse con un hombre que necesita una esposa para poder comprar el viñedo en el que invirtió toda su vida... Pero la trama se pone interesante cuando ellos cuentan que en el pasado tuvieron una historia que no termino bien 👀.
La relación de Beckham y Haley me encanto, se notaba mucho la química que había entre ellos y su relación avanza de a poco porque si bien en el pasado tuvieron una historia ahora en el presente eran adultos y fue como descubrise nuevamente en otra vida. Beckham es un amor y daba todo por la pequeña Maggie sin nada a cambio, lo detallista que era con ellas enamora porque prestaba atención a cada detalle de las chicas ♥️.

La novela es muy sencilla y un tanto predecible, no obstante, me gusto como se desarrollo la historia y tambien como fue evolucionando la relacion entre los protagonistas. Y una mencion especial a Maggie, es un amor de niña.
La lectura se pasa en un suspiro, en parte porque no tiene un exceso de paginas pero tambien porque el romance da gusto leerlo, esta bastante bien llevado en mi opinion.
Sinceramente, no es la historia de amor que mas me ha transmitido o impactado, pero es linda y amena, que era lo que buscaba en este momento del año.
En fin, Married To The Frenemy es mi primera vez con la autora pero no sera la ultima, me gusto su estilo simple. Si quieres leer una historia dulce y sin complicaciones, esta es una opcion excelente.

Not quite a novella as it’s a little longer than that but still a short story. This is a continuation of Sycamore Falls and picks up with Beck and Haley. A lot is talked about their past but it’s not really touched upon a ton. And the “conflict” is like a non-starter. Ending felt rushed, as did conflict resolution. Steam is there but takes up pages it probably didn’t need to. Characters and plot are somewhat developed but more could be done. Fine in the series and I’ll probably read the next book.

okey ame este libro demasiado!!! leer a Beckham y Haley fue muy hermoso, el hecho que ellos ya tuvieran una historia de amor en su adolescencia y que después de 14 años al fin pudieron estar juntos y tener su final feliz fue increíble. Y leer a Beck con Maggie, siendo el padre que ella nunca tuvo fue tan, pero taaan tierno y lindoo 💓
Admito que casi al final, cuando Beck le pidió el divorcio y le dijo que no la amaba a Haley me enojé demasiado porq eligió decir que no la amaba en vez de cortarle lo que de verdad estaba pasando, típico de personaje ficticio ush, pero después el volvió y le pidió perdón y admitió estar enamorado de ella <3
EL ADOPTÓ A MAGGIE 😭💓💓💓💓 fue la escena más hermosa del mundo! Ella diciéndole que nunca tuvo a alguien a quien llamar "papá" y que al fin tenía a quien llamar así me hizo llorar de amor tj 😭💘

Me gustó, solo señalaría que la escritura se ve algo básica ¿? Me explico.
En lugar de enfocarse en decir lo que siente el protagonista, es mejor DEMOSTRARLO. Si lo cuentas no es creíble, si lo muestras el mismo lector llegará a la conclusión.
Aquí me faltó eso. La autora decía como se sentían con escenas que nunca se vieron ni narraron. El dice estar encantado con la niña de la protagonista, pero hay si acaso 3-4 escenas de ella, y solo aparece para el desarrollo de la pareja.
Si la autora logrará mejorar eso, creo que serían mucho más llamativos y llegarían a más gente, porque la premisa me agrado bastante 💓

Heartwarming
Nice story and the plot is well written including background for the characters. The characters are relatable although there were times I wanted to shake the leading male character because he carried the world on his shoulders and felt everything was fault. It didn't matter if others didn't name him.
There were some twist and turns along the way that keep the story fresh and the reader interested.

Lo acabo de terminar y de verdad es una lectura súper ligera y fácil de leer.
Aunque el romance me pareció algo simple los momentos de Maggie con Beckham me encantaron y fue lo que más me atrapó de este libro.
Ahora solo espero que la autora publique el libro de Hayden (uno de los hermanos Lawrence ) que por lo que he leído en las sinopsis de los siguientes libros aún no se sabe si tendrá libro 🥲

Usually I can read the same tropes in other books, but sometimes they are done in a way I enjoyed it more than this one lol. Nothing wrong, just felt I didn't enjoyed it like other books with the same tropes. Probably a me problem.

It was a cute book, kind of predictable, the sex scenes are very very specific and go on for a little too long imo 😂 I would read this book at work and feel so guilty as if people know what I’m reading

Por qué no en vez de hacer un drama innecesario en los últimos capítulos, no mandaron a terapia al protagonista que claramente tenía problemas de ira y falta de autoestima??? Hasta la niña era más madura que la pareja de este libro
