Kyousuke Motomi (最富キョウスケ Motomi Kyōsuke) is a Japanese mangaka whose stories have frequently been published in the monthly Betsucomi magazine. She is most currently working on Dengeki Daisy.
She uses a male pseudonym and draws herself as a man, but she's actually female."If my stories can touch you, make you laugh, forget unhappy things, or even give you that 'good job' feeling, then I'll be super, super happy!" - Kyousuke Motomi
Once again, another volume of this series made me sob while reading 😭😭😭😭😭
I'm not even sure what to say, as I don't want to go into spoilers, but I will definitely say that this volume made me cry for two reasons.
The first, I can't give details about because of the characters it involves, but it was so heartfelt, beautiful, and crushing all at the same time. Truly stunning writing and art!
The second is the message of not giving in to despair. I feel there has been SO much despair in this series, yet Fumi herself has remained strong. No matter what has been said about her or done to her, she has chosen time and time again to act like a princess. When we see that briefest of flashbacks and how powerful Fumi's new outfit is, I felt so much courage gather in my heart. (Sorry if that's vague!)
That only continued as the series went on, and we continue to see Fumi's strength, but also near the end, when we finally learn about a promise made. Fumi is not the only one who has fought despair with everything in them.
When times in life right now DO feel despairing, I feel this volume hit my heart and reminded me not to cave or give in. Fight against evil, yes, but do not give into its clutches and have my heart transformed. Take the middle path and fight with everything in you to cling to that path.
