I liked the concept / idea. The writing style didn’t land though. It wasn’t a long book, but it took me forever to get through. It felt overly drawn out and slow moving, frequently losing my attention. There were some beautiful, vivid descriptions that created clear pictures in my minds eye. I appreciate the very real mental and emotional struggles the FMC went through, especially when she’s so physically superior. It was unique, but not for me. I will not be continuing with the series.
