There's a lot of fighting in these chapters. We have a tournament to decide who will represent Thousand Blades Academy in a competition. Allen Rodole continues to fight and grow puissant, but he remains incapable of defeating the soul within him. Allen is the only character unable to use his Soul Attire.

Rose and Allen have a rematch, followed by Lia and Allen. Allen wins and represents the school as a first year.

Then, the Student Council President and Allen go on a date. Allen doesn't realize it's a date, though. The Headmaster knows about the Time Hermit and tries to defeat him.

Anyway, a criminal order decides to abduct Lia. It's due to her being a Princess or her Soul Attire, Fafnir. The criminals succeed, and Allen discovers more ways to borrow his soul's power. That is where the volume ends.
