This is the second book in the series. It can be read as a standalone, but so much better if you’ve read the first book.
Jackson is the sexy bar owner who is recently divorced and moved back to his small hometown. Surrounded by his family he is trying to put the pieces to his life back together.
Lucy is a gorgeous fiery redhead who totally had everything together. Well at least from the outside. Her resolve crumbles when she finds out that her mother is coming for a visit!
Scrambling to keep her lie going she asks Jackson to pretend that they are in a relationship!
Oh yeah, this one has a lot of back and forth banter and some scorching hot scenes. Just when you think you know everything there is another twist!
Such a great book and I love this world! I can’t wait for the next one

Jackson wants to help Lucy out of a predicament, when everything changes and meanwhile someone from his past shows up and turns everything upside down.

Although they hate each other, it's interesting to see how each of them actually feel way before they want to admit it to anyone. I absolutely loved the natural progression of their relationship, it happened exactly how it should and nothing felt forced. They are exactly what each other needs, they are each others' savior and I honestly like that it's not just one sided.

All Lucy wanted was to get some kind of approval or even love from the one person who is suppose to love you her mom. Lucy decided to tell a little lie and say she was in a relationship with none other the infamous Jackson King. The only problem they hate each other. Does Lucy and her friends convince satan himself to go along with the ruse? Does lines get buried? Will Lucy finally get approval from her judgmental mother? Overall this book was good. I do like that the book had a few twist and turns that you didn’t expect. This book has some steam, laughter and suspense which makes it good.

Great story. It touches on some sensitive topics possible trigger: self harming. But other than that, I enjoyed reading this. The main characters had the best banter that made me laugh so hard. When you nickname your enemy Satan and Scarlet then you know it’s going to be good. Definitely was an enemy to lovers troupe but some mystery and of course drama. The spice was a nice touch too. I hope there is a book 3. I don’t want this series to end.

Wow just wow… the twists in this book and the love story that came out of it. I cannot wait to read more into this series. Lucy had a rough childhood and turned to cutting herself. She has a love hate relationship with Jackson and her mom is coming to town. Her mom thinks they are dating which brings in the fake relationship that turned real. Jackson’s past with a mafia family comes back to haunt him. The ending though……

I really liked jack! The whole sexy bar owner/ rides motorcycles 🥵 Now I feel like we were played the whole time. I have so many questions about the ending. I won’t name anyone to give it away but like did she plant herself there on purpose?? Is it all just apart of the controlling game? Or did she just not want to be with the family?!

This is the second book in this series and it was as good as the first. This time it’s Lucy and Jackson. They hate each other but have to fake a relationship. They both have secrets that threaten to destroy them. This has some twist and turns that make you not want to put the book down. I loved their story.

Who doesn’t love a fight so good you want to bang?! Haha Lucy & Jackson feel strongly and their journey is quite the battle! I love how each of the brothers and best friends stories are tying all together

This is a book you will love to read. Once I started I could not put it down. Loved all the characters. There are trigger ⚠️ but was a great book. There were quite a few spicy scenes as well. Really loved the royal growth in both characters. I do wish I got more of why Scarlet hatred Satan when they first met was never explained. And I would have loved to hear more of the mother situation at the end of the book. Will be reading now of this series.

Jackson is not at all what I expected. He is so different and so loveable even when he is being him, and lucy is just a babe. Love these two, and their story is just so lovely. You can't help but love everything about it xx
