Molly Dishy has had a rough year. First her husband cheats on her, then she's accused of murder, and just when Christmas finally rolls around, and the Peach Grove Police seem to have forgotten about all that, her precious Frenchie disappears.
Partying at the Christmas tree trimming at the Rosemary Cottage, a B&B run by Molly's close friends Courtney and Ryan Murphy, Milo goes missing. After imbibing lots of Ryan's Noel Nog, the partygoers search for the eggnog loving hound, but to no avail.
Now Molly must swallow her tears and go back to the local PD to ask for help finding her four-legged friend. But due to a misunderstanding, they refuse to help her find her fur friend. Molly hasn't been parted from Milo since she he was left to her by her dear departed Aunt Dixie. Now, Molly is in a panic.
As the clues mount, Molly finds herself suspecting guests of the B&B. Will Molly find her missing Frenchie before the dognapper gets away?

Molly was at party with her dog Milo who tries to drink Mollys eggnog. Courtney and her husband Ryan own the Bed and Breakfast where the tree trimming party was held. A guest complains about the dog as he is allergic but the woman having the party loves Milo and refuses to let the dog be taken away. During the
Party Milo disappears It was believed he was dognapped. Molly must find Milo Loved the book and ending.

This cozy Christmas mystery was such a heartfelt, unexpected delight. Molly’s love for her Frenchie, Milo, is so genuine it pulled me in right away, and when he goes missing, you feel every ounce of her panic and determination.

Despite the lighthearted tone, the story carries real emotional weight. Between the lingering pain of betrayal, the loyalty of friendship, and the healing that sneaks in through chaos, Milo & Mistletoe beautifully balances mystery with heart. A charming, warm, and satisfying read that made me hug my own dog a little tighter.

I found this as a KU suggestion and even though I haven’t read enough in the Chiro Cozy series to’ve met Molly yet, I really liked her and Aaron’s characters a lot along with Courtney and Ryan. Little Milo was too funny and when someone stole him, it broke his dog momma’s heart. Molly was determined to get him back. I loved how she and Courtney made that happen!

A festive mystery short with different characters. It alsotakes place at Christmas abd follows Molly. The mystery involvex her trying to locate her missing dog Milo. It was fun.
