Beast: A Disenchanted Tale

Rate this book
Inspired by Beauty and the Beast

In Tartarus, Eliya leads a satisfying life as a Fury, a demon second only in power to the Princes of Darkness. When she is caught in a misunderstanding between Leviathan, the Prince of Envy and Satan, the Prince of Wrath, she is cursed to live for a hundred years as a beastly human. As restitution for a deal she has broken, she must also prove her worth to Satan by delivering him a pure soul. If she fails, she will live for an eternity as a soulless human wraith. Her prince, Athan, has assured her he will fulfill her obligations under this unjust curse. She only must survive the life on Earth and her prince will be waiting for her to return to him.

Remi, the Archangel of Hope and Redemption, is the best at what he does but feels stuck in a dull life. His frustration with his circumstances leads him to run afoul of Astraea, the God of Purity. As penance, he is sent to Earth to redeem Eliya's soul and prevent her from returning to Tartarus. If he fails, he will be cast down from Elysium to Limbo and stripped of his position as archangel or become Astraea’s consort. He soon realizes it’s an impossible task because Eliya doesn’t have a soul to redeem.

With the conclusion only days away, Remi and Eliya discover her curse is more than it seems. Can a somewhat tarnished angel save them both by succeeding at the impossible? Can he find a heart inside a beast worthy of redemption?

Beast is a dark(ish) urban fantasy romance and the first novel in the Disenchanted Tales series, a collection of standalone but interlinked stories inspired by fairy tales, myths, and legends.

Beast takes the Beauty and the Beast we all know and love and throws in a dark urban fantasy twist. Set in a world where demons and angels collide, the novel follows Eliya, a powerful Fury cursed to live as a beastly human as she attempts to redeem herself in a high-stakes game of celestial politics. Her only hope lies with Athan, her prince, and Remi, an archangel facing his own trials. The narrative is a masterful blend of gothic romance and mythological intrigue, showcasing a richly imagined universe where every character’s motivations are layered and complex. The plot weaves together themes of redemption, sacrifice, and the search for one's true self, all while maintaining a fast-paced and engaging storyline. The interplay between Eliya's struggle and Remi's quest adds emotional depth and tension. As the first in the Disenchanted Tales series, it promises a thrilling continuation of interlinked stories that delve into the heart of myth and magic.

Outstanding 👏

Once again, Georgia has struck gold and created a masterpiece with this fast-paced, enemies to lovers twisted tale.

A new take on Beauty and the Beast sees Eliya, a Fury Demon cursed to live as a beast for 100 years. With only days left on her curse, Remi, the Archangel of Hope and Redemption, is set the task of redeeming her soul, but she has no desire to be saved.

Eliya is a badass character who takes no nonsense and doesn't need a man to save her. Remi is a ladies' man who just loves to share the love 😍 even if it does tend to get him in trouble. The banter between these two had me howling at times 🤣

If you've read Georgia's Shadow and Light series, I promise you will love this too. It has all the elements we love in her writing, except it won't break your heart (well, not for long, at least)

Georgia! Georgia! Georgia!

I WISH I could read this book for the first time again. I needed a new book boyfriend and you delivered with Remi! I thought things were going a different way at first and then I had to go and find cool air. My core temperature was rising quickly lol.

Eliya's language and style is so beautifully Bay Area but doesn't take away from the fantasy aspect of the story. She is a demon living in the underworld. She lives in the realm of the demon prince Athen but she, as a fury, is an independent contractor so to speak. She works for whomever she pleases fating souls and tying them to the princes that hire her. One day she is cursed and must fight through what she thinks is an identity crisis and a betrayal to break her curse and return home before her time runs out. She doesn't expect the angel that is thrusted into her path to stop her from succeeding.

I don't want to give away too much so I'll end with this. READ THE DANG BOOK!!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ outstanding book!!!

You did it again Georgia! I absolutely loved Beauty and the Beast growing up and still very much do, this was a new take on Beauty and the Beast.

Eliya is a Fury Demon that is cursed to live as a beast for 100 years. With only days left on her curse, Remi, the Archangel of Hope and Redemption is set the task of redeeming her soul, but she has no desire to be saved.

I loved this book so much, the storyline and character development was great. Eliya is so full of sass and Remi is not your typical angel!

Don't miss out on reading this book especially if you are a Beauty and the Beast fan! You will not be disappointed at all. And if you have read Georgia's Shadow and Light series then you will love this one!

Beast by Georgia C Leigh is book one in the Disenchanted Tales Series. First let me start off by saying I’m already obsessed with this author’s writing talents. So I had high hopes for this book especially after reading the blurb. When I say I devoured this book I mean I didn’t move from my spot until I finished it. I absolutely, hands down, loved this book. The fact that it was inspired by one of my favorite fairy tales being Beauty and the Beast just added the cherry on top. The characters are phenomenal, I adored both Eliya and Remi! She is just so full of sass and just so cool. Then Remi is just… oh my… that is what he is. I love a good enemies to lovers romance but their banter together was fabulous. I was seriously chuckling so loud. The writing was superb the way it was written just made the words flow off the page. The plot was so interesting and unique! The development of the characters was some of the best. Something else that was captured beautifully was the emotions portrayed in this book, I felt each and everyone as if they were my own. If you want an incredibly addictive read then I can’t recommend this book enough, it’s so good!!!

A Fury demon with no soul banished to earth to live out as a human for a 100 year curse and a redemption angel sent to redeem her soul that she does have? SAY LESSSSS.

Eliya is a crazy and i’m absolutely here for it! She is such a badass FMC and i loved every second of her sassy mouth. Remi is a horny angel that has gotten himself in trouble and sent on an impossible task.

I am a die hard fan of Georgia and I will read anything she writes. She makes you feel as though you’re living through the lives of the main characters.

I felt every emotion the Eliya went through. The spicy scenes were top notch and thigh clenching. holy smokes! I was infuriated at times and devastated in others. I loved this story so much!

I received a free ARC copy of this book, but I will gladly be buying it to add to my book trophies! I loved this story that much, and even I had to add in an extra 🌶 for my spice rating on this one!!!

Eliya is full of punky sass I couldn't get enough of. She made me laugh and scream, "Hell yeah!" out loud several times as I was reading through the story.

Remi is so not your typical angel, and I love it!! He meets every bit of Eliya's sass head-on and pushes her further. I'm hoping to see more of Remi and Eliya in future reads!

Grab a copy of this book, make yourself a Mojitos or two, and enjoy!!!

I am so excited to see Georgia branching out into retellings! Disney is my jam so this was the perfect book for me. It is a a bit darker but it’s written in a way that makes you want to keep reading and never want the story to end.

When I found out Leigh was writing this book, I didn't know what it was about. All I knew was that it was inspired by Beauty and the Beast (which I love), that it was basically a gender-swapped revamp with an angel/demon dynamic, and it was gonna be spicy. That's all I needed to know to say "SIGN ME UP!" And Leigh delivered. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and these MCs. What I loved the most was the gender swap aspect of the "beast curse" dynamic from the original story.

Eliya's character (the "beast") is a Fury, which I loved. Her character was everything I hoped she would be. She was morally gray, snarky, and strong in her own right. However, I did think she was a tad bit gullible and easily manipulated. I think that aspect of her character profile was necessary for the story though, and I think in the end that aspect morphed into her ability to be able to trust Remi whole-heartedly and open herself up to him fully.

Remi, I absolutely adored his feisty ass. His middle-finger debauchery in Elysium just had me giggling. His character was just the perfect match up to Eliya, even down to the vegetarian v. carnivore aspect, LOL. I loved him. His level of devotion to Eliya was so beautiful, even from the beginning, and despite knowing that she was different from him. He was committed to his mission.

And the SPICE between these two!!! This was probably the spiciest I've ever read from Leigh and she did an excellent job with it, in my opinion. She really flexed her smut muscles with this book and I ate it up. These two couldn't get enough of each other once they had a taste and I was here for all of it. Something I thought was so cool...Leigh added a lot of unique biology/anatomy creations for Eliya and Athan in this book and it just made my little science nerd brain so giddy.

Aside from their physical connection, I really enjoyed the deeper connection Eliya and Remi began to develop with each other. The one by which their souls would eventually come to recognize each other over time and space. I love that type of sh*t and it always feels like Leigh writes that type of relationship so incredibly well. She really knows how to provide that solid foundation within a short period of time that feels so organic and not insta-lusty/lovey, even though they hadn't known each other that long.

Another concept in this that I thought was unique was the system of both gods AND a central God along with the angels in Elysium (or "heaven"), as well as Dios (bascially God's equivalent in Tartarus, or hell) and the 7 princes of Tartarus, including several of the various names we have come to associate with "the devil". I really liked this hierarchy. It felt like it incorporated different belief systems and I appreciated that.

Couple things stood out to me that kind of prevented me from giving this 5 stars. (This part is a little spoilery so I'll block this portion.)

Recommendation:
I'd absolutely recommend this book! I think it's well-written and well-paced. I enjoyed the story as a whole as well as the characters and overall message behind it. It serves as a great introduction into Leigh's writing or a fabulous little side piece for those of us who have already read the published books of her Shadows and Light series. I'm excited to see where she goes with the rest of this Disenchanted series! 🤙🏼💕

Thank you to the author for an early copy of this book. As always this review is my honest feedback and given voluntarily.

This is a 4.5 for me. This book was a 4 for me for most of the book but those last couple chapters definitely got a bump as they really got me in my feels. This book was such an interesting twist from what we usually see from beauty and the beast inspired books and it's not just from the reversal of who was the "beast" and who was the beauty.
Now I will say the start can be a little overwhelming learning about the different demon types, how demons are made, the different types of souls and what demons are created from certain types of souls and finally how deals are made. So, you really have to pay attention when its being explained.
I did enjoy the plot and characters as they show no one is truly evil or truly good. You were able to that demons even without souls can have some good in them and angels are definitely not as pure and wholesome as you would think. It really made for an interesting way and really made me believe in how perfect his angel and demon were together. What was also really cool is that while yes, the angel Remi was trying to redeem the fury Eliya he never actually tried to change who she was as a person. Just tried to show her how things could really be, and she could make the choice to change or not. He also never berated her for her wickedness or past choices or even for the type of soul she was born from. For the archangel of hope and redemption he was a really chill and wicked angel.

I enjoyed Remi and Eliya as characters separately and together like I said. Eliya was a really cool individual who was not ashamed of who she was and just lived life by her own set of rules. But for being born from such an evil soul she didn't wreak the havoc you would think a demon would. She was no angel, but she wasn't truly evil. She just lived by her own set of wicked rules. Now she did have to make deals and take souls, so she is definitely morally grey, but she was bound by rules and contracts in place that she made sure to uphold.

I liked the plot and thought it was a really interesting take on beauty and the beast. It's not a retelling but is inspired and I enjoyed the elements I recognized take on a new spin. This book is also super super spicy, and I enjoyed it. This is the first in a standalone series so there is no cliffhanger, but I am excited to see what the author has in store for the next installment.

this book is about Eliya who a fury demon is who as a result of a broken deal has been punished for 100 years as a human or in her eyes as an ugly beast in the human realm. The 100 years is almost up, and the deal will have to be fulfilled by proving to Satan her worth by bringing a pure soul to him. Thankfully her Prince of Envy Leviathan has promised to have such a soul when the time comes. So, all she has to do is survive her time on earth so that when her time is up, she can stand by her Prince's side as his consort. So, she has been living a mostly quite boring existence this cycle so there are no surprises, that is until an angel breaks into her home and not just any angel but Remi the archangel of hope and redemption who has been sent to redeem her not just to stop her from returning to her former glory as a fury at Leviathan's side but also to redeem himself for some recent choices he made having some undesirable consequences for him. Unfortunately for him he forgot that demons don't have souls to redeem so in the meantime she will just enjoy these last few days on earth playing with her new toy.

I went into this not knowing what to expect. As usual, Ms. Leigh exceeded my expectations. A rose is not always a rose. A beast is not always a beast. This book was inspired by Beauty and the Beast. It gives everything in this fairytale a new meaning. Get ready to go on a journey full of exciting thrills and steamy situations. Ms. Leigh likes to take the beginning slow and give readers all the background information on the the world you will be immersed in. It's a lot, but you will be happy when you get to the meat of the story and have an attachment to the characters.

A world of demons, gods and princes. The Princes encompass the deadly sins. Eliya is a Fury. Furies could make a deal with any prince, but Eliya belonged to Leviathan, Prince of envy. She could do anything she wanted as long as it did not conflict with her loyalties to Athan. Satan had a huge request. Eliya knew she could handle it. Once complete, Eliya's world was turned upside down. She received her prince's signet ring and vow to be with him always. Unfortunately, that would have to wait. Eliya was sentenced to live as a beast for one hundred years. She must deliver a pure soul or remain a beast forever. This was definitely not how that night was supposed to go.

I will let you know that there is so much more. That is just the tip of the iceberg. We go through the one hundred years with Eliya. This book is a very interesting take on Beauty and the Beast. Readers will be excited to see the similarities. Beauty comes in the form of an Archangel. Remiel is sent to help Eliya at the end of her sentence. Will Eliya find the pure soul that she needs to get home? Remi was the Archangel of Hope and Redemption. Can a demon's soul be redeemed? I don't want to give up too much because this book was so fun. Readers will enjoy this one. I wish I could see the surprised faces that I had when I found out what being a beast actually entailed. Enjoy this journey through a world of demons and angels.

I’m giving this book overall four stars, I thought about doing 3.75 but I don’t want to knock something that’s really just a personal preference.

Beast has remarkably similar vibes to the Shadows and Light series by the same author. We’ve got the same species typing in this book: angels, demons, etc.
When I started reading Beast I was slightly annoyed at this (that’s where the personal preference came in) but truly we all read stories by other authors that have the same species and vibes. I kept thinking of Acis of Fate (the most recent release of Shadows and Light) and was wondering throughout most of the book if it would somehow tie into that series despite knowing it was a completely separate series.

Now for the story; it’s a beauty and the beast retelling, but the girl is our beast cursed to live life as a human for 100 years for breaking a demon deal… or did she? Eliya is a fury and her own class of demon, who chooses whom she wishes to serve in the realms of hell. Who doesn’t like a bada$* main character who can take care of herself? The seven demon princes all whom rule one of the deadly sins; and all want the allegiance of the Fury. We really only deal with Envy, pride, and Wrath, so it doesn’t get messy with demon politics. In all honesty we had a few beasts in disguise, and the one of the portrayed beasts was a “good guy” all along, for lack of a better term. Our great betrayer isn’t who you’d originally think; and that twist was delightful and made me really happy to read. Overall the story is quite entertaining and it’s something I would definitely read again and recommend to others.

My only real complaint is the remarkably similar vibes between series, but again, that’s purely preferential. I’m not taking any rating away based on that, and it’s a solid read for a more adult version of our favorite childhood classic.

I’m typically not a big fan of world building, EXCEPT for when it’s done by Georgia C. Leigh. Her creative mind is utterly captivating as she spins a unique and engaging story, in this case, inspired by Beauty and the Beast. It’s not what I expected, it’s better!

The way she intertwined fairytales and myths, demons and angels, was binge-worthy perfection. I squealed in excitement at the inclusion of a couple characters from Beauty and the Beast. The attention to detail in crafting these characters, honoring their roots while giving them a modern and fitting role.

The banter between the FMC & MMC is highly entertaining and the way in which their story unfolds is beautifully crafted and executed. The gradual undoing centered around intimacy and vulnerability adds yet another intriguing layer of emotion and character development. One of the best written in a genuine E2L form with a believable and enthralling transition between the two.

Wow, what else can I say? I loved it! The spice was spicin’, the plot was plottin’, the feelings were feelin’, the FMC was feisty and sassin’, and our MMC was a naughty, romantic, swoon-worthy, trouble maker. Need I say more?

This Darkish Urban Fantasy Romance held me hostage as I devoured it in less than two days. This is one I highly recommend. Not only was it exceptionally entertaining but there were some wonderful little nuggets of wisdom and advice pertaining to this beautiful thing called life.

Thank you, Georgia C. Leigh, for the complimentary e-copy. I am voluntarily leaving a review.

When I saw her post mentioning Beauty and the Beast, I said say less ma’am. She also made it very clear in the dedication that this book is INSPIRED BY and NOT a retelling which just made me even more curious. What I received on page one would shock me in the best way possible. So if you’re a fan of the supernatural/paranormal, this is a breath of fresh air with a nice spin on it because we’re dealing with angels and demons and gods and oh my. Our FMC is a rare type of demon who knows she’s got it going on and has to deal with the being cursed. A demons version of a beast is a powerless human. Through a bit of unrelated events, our MMC has chosen the impossible task of breaking the curse for reasons well above both the FMC and MMC’s pay grade. He’s sassy and unapologetic in a way that is very much not the stereotype of angels. And while I had certain expectations for what to expect in a super flirty enemies to lovers with forced proximity, I didn’t expect to get thrown for a loop in a life lesson about companionship and genuine intimacy and by the end I was tearing up. You can see the elements of tale but put in this way, I’ve never read anything like it. The spice was spicing in a very intense way and there is definitely a purpose for it which made more an impact on me than I thought it would. Can’t wait to read more. I did receive the ebook as an arc and I thank Georgia for the opportunity.

If you're looking for a dark romance, enemies to lovers, disenchanted tale look no further! Welcome to the story of Eliya, a Fury in Tartarus who serves souls to the princes as a freelancer. She has aligned herself with Prince Athan when she finds herself cursed to live a life as a human, or a beast to her, for 100 years.
Remi is an archangel of Redemption, but after he disgraces Astraea, he must pay penance by accomplishing the impossible, saving Eliya's soul before her curse ends.
Eliya's attitude is no nonsense and bold, but you can feel the insecurity she holds within herself as she battles with feelings of betrayal. Remi, on the other hand, is witty and positive, making their banter absolutely amazing! Their banter and witty humor felt fresh and compatible with their individual personalities.
This is not a Beauty and the Beast retelling, but I caught the nods to the classic and loved them. From themes to phrases to even some characters, the nods gave me the perfect taste of one of my favorite stories. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes dark romance, demons and angels, hope and redemption, or a good enemies to lovers!

An interesting take on beauty and the beast. With fury's, princes of hell, and angels I enjoyed this book. I had a little bit of difficulty getting into this book however once I was into the book I couldnt put it down. We follow Remi and Eliya in a dual POV book. Remi is an archangel who is boarding the line of sin and must take on a difficult task. That task redeeming Eliya, the fury's soul. Eliya is cursed to live as a human for 100 years. As the curse is getting closer to ending she learns things with her help of Remi. Some good and some bad. With a play on the fairytale beauty and the beast the beauty is Remi and the beast is the fury who takes on a human form. A spicy story with elements of enemies to lovers and hea. Spice level 3/5 for me personally. If you like fairytale retellings I would recommend this book.

I really liked this book and how different it was.
In Tartarus, Eliya leads a satisfying life as a Fury, a demon second only in power to the Princes of Darkness. Eliya gets sent to Earth as a human for 100 years as a punishment.
Her time is almost up when she meets Remi.
Remi, the Archangel of Hope and Redemption, is the best at what he does but feels stuck in a dull life. He is sent to Earth to redeem Eliya's soul and prevent her from returning to Tartarus.
The bantering between these 2 was funny. Eliya kind of represents the Beast from Beauty and the Beast and Remi is like Belle. So different but the chemistry is there.
There is also a bakery with the owners Chip and Mrs. Potts.
I recommend this book if you like books inspired by Fairytales.
I received this book from the author for a review.

This dark twist on the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast was perfection. I got this book because Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite story. The world Georgia built was nothing like I expected, but it was everything I didn’t know I needed.
Eliya and Remi’s banter was hilarious and their growth over the course of the story was a thrill to read. The way Georgia integrated themes such as redemption and sacrifice while giving us lots of intrigue and romance (both spicy and sweet) was exquisite. She made each and every character feel complex and unique and I loved the fast paced and engaging storyline she created. Usually I’m left wanting more from books but this one gave me everything I hoped for. Oh and the spice was deliciously spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️!!
This being the first book in the series makes me even more excited to see what comes next!

So went into this know it was a Beauty and the Beast retelling(my favorite) and thats about it but man did it blow me away! You have a fmc who is a demon and loves her life. A deal gone wrong gets her 100 years on earth. You have a MMC who is an angel but a little naughty. She is cursed and has to find a way out. The MMC is sent to save her buy what they didnt expect was to actually like each other. This books shows you can change, be who you want to be, and best of all everyone is deserving of love for who they are. There are curve balls and curses to break can they do it and does love really trump all? Guess you will have to read it and find out. Bravo this book is amazing and thr spice is off the charts

Beast by Georgia C Leigh is the first book in the Disenchanted Tales Series. I loved this enemies to lovers, angel and demon fantasy so much! It has just the right world building to bring this amazing story to life. Eliya is cursed to live in the earthly realm for 100 years as a "beastly" human after a disagreement between the Prince of Envy and the Prince of Wrath. Her time is almost up on her curse when Remi, the Archangel of Hope and Redemption crosses her path. As she gets closer to her last cursed days, secrets start to unravel and it makes for a captivating story. Remi is everything you didn't know you needed in a book boyfriend! Highly recommend this one and can't wait to read more in this series!

While I’m still (not so patiently) waiting for the rest of the Shadows and Light books, I was a little nervous about jumping into a completely different story from Georgia C. Leigh. But honestly, Beast: A Disenchanted Tale pulled me in faster than I expected.

It has that same signature Leigh style—super detailed and complex world-building, plus the emotional rollercoaster of characters being torn apart before they can finally come back together. Her writing just has this way of sucking you in and making you live inside the story.

It didn’t quite hit me on the same level as Shadows and Light, but it still kept me hooked the whole time. Definitely worth the read if you love immersive fantasy with a heavy dose of emotion and romance.

This story is inspired by Beauty and the Beast. It is not a re-telling, but loosely based off of the ideas of the story.

Eliya is a fury who is banished to Earth as a human as punishment. Remi is an Angel of Redemption sent on a mission to save her unforgivable soul.

This story (to me) gave supernatural x beauty and the beast vibes and I TOTALLY DUG IT.

I gave this story 4 stars; I picked this book up and did NOT put it down until it was over (which came way too soon). I finished the whole story in straight 8 hours.

There is romance in this book, lots of spice - I even cried a few times. It was beautifully written and totally worth the read.

I LOVED THIS ONE.

A spectacular take at Beauty and the Beast, where the “beast” is a role reversal, because she is the cursed and an archangel is sent to redeem her. Cursed to spend 100 years as a “beastly” human, for sins that aren’t her own, she endures heartache, devastation and most of all love… but not with who she thought she would. With just days left to break the curse and save her life, the “beauty” is willing to give his own soul, to save hers.

Truly a beautiful story and such an interesting spin, with many twists and turns. Just the right amount of spice, and at the end I thought to myself, “I NEED to know what happens next!!”

This novel has the most interesting take/twist on the classic beauty and the beast story we all know and love. It’s definitely nothing like you’d expect from a story that is inspired by beauty and the beast (in a good way). As you know, Eliya is a fury who was sent to Earth to live as a human for 100 years. Remi was sent to try and redeem her before her punishment finished. I loved both the FMC and MMC, they worked so well together, definitely had me laughing quite a few times. I loved how their relationship developed, how you could see both characters falling for each other (their chemistry and the spicy scenes were 🥵🥵🔥). Both our MC’s were flawed, but ended up being perfect for each other, even if they didn’t see it at first. The only thing I wish we got more of was getting to see a little more of their life together in the epilogue. Don’t get me wrong, I thought the epilogue was beautiful and it put a giant smile on my face, but I’m greedy 🙊 and I wish we got a second one, a few years in the future.

Thank you Georgia for the advanced copy of your book! If you’re in the mood for a different take on beauty and the beast I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try. All thoughts and opinions are my own 💖🖤

Dear Georgia, I needed Book 2 yesterday!!! As soon as she announced she was writing a Beauty and the Beast retelling, I said "Sign-me up!!!" The chemistry and tension between Eliya and Remi is *chef's kiss* very similar to that of the origin story. They are the yin to the other's yang.

Leigh builds a world of arch angels, furies, angels and demons in her disenchanted story. I thoroughly enjoyed the genderbending with the FMC being the one is cursed and the MMC who is there to "break" the curse. As this retelling is on the darker side, content descriptions can be found on Georgia's website.

I absolutely would recommend this book to anyone! Eliya is a Fury demon who is cursed to live on earth for 100 years because of a misunderstanding. She is waiting for Athan to come save her when the curse is up. Remi is a angel who redeems souls and he is sent by Michael to redeem Eliya's soul. The chemistry between Remi and Eliya is so good and spicy! This is a true enemies to lovers tale with a beauty and the beast twist. It's a slow burn and their banter is the best! The emotional rollercoaster these two go through is heartbreaking. I cried, laughed, and yelled at this book! Georgia knows how to scare the crap out of you and put you back together! Go get this book!

Can I just say WOW what in the world did I just read?!?!?!?!?

I'm a huge sucker for a Beauty and the Beast retelling. Can i just say i was NOT expecting this story!

FIrst off the fact that it's an angels and demons was enough to grab my attention and hold it. I'm still stunned at how the story came about and went as I couldn't put the book down!!! If you like intrigue, you like enemies to lovers, if you like plot twist, and if you love a good Beauty and the Beast retelling like myself.

Then I highly recommend you get this book! It's amazing and a great introduction to this author! I can't wait to read more of her works.
