Good knowledge and information in this book, with illustrations of art, painting sculptures, architecture at every page, and a go through nearly every important country of this movement, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Prussia etc. Helped me a lot for an assignment in my design studies.

Packed full of information and beautiful high quality images, highly recommended for anyone even remotely interested in the Baroque era. Unfortunately it contains only small portions on the Rococo. This book mainly focuses on the architecture and designs of the era rather than the art.
