It's all denouement as this volume of the manga adapts the short stories included at the end of the novel after the main story's conclusion. Most of the book is from Kiyori's perspective as she wonders about the changes in Haru following the death of her friend and that one night in the forest. Kiyori also tries to get her own adventuring career on track but is hindered by her inability to really understand the way other people think about sex and gender roles. A side story has Haru learning about the world's creation mythology from an academic client suffering from some erectile dysfunction. The novel's author also contributes an original text story retelling some early encounters with Haru from the perspective the Demon Lord of the Forest.

It's the usual mix of humor and rape, sexism and empowerment, sex and chatting, that makes the series so oddly compelling, but with the big climax happening last volume, this is little more than idle pillow talk before handing over some cash, making an awkward goodbye, and hitting the road.

What the hell was this!!?????

I loved this series so bloody much and after the last book where Haru was fighting demons, speaking to the ominous rain man, finding herself in the world and focusing on upping herself in her career, nothing happens in this book.

It feels like it’s a book just filling in the gaps, this spoke from Kiyoris point of view, barely any speaks of Haru, except her sadness for not finding the rain man…potential lover and going to the demon world to fight. This is all about kiyori instead and I liked hearing her story but this just felt like a negative approach to her and not everything this character has worked for, except her get hurt and bullied.

Where is the rain man?
Did Haru get to go back to the old world..or find her path in life?
How did Haru get on in her career?
Will she escape the depression she’s in?

Aaaaaaaa this makes me so sad…I wanted so much more:(

What the actual f?? Did this series get cancelled or something that this is the last volume? Previous volume we had all that ominous OMG the Demon Lord stuff and some serious stuff and it felt like we could at least get 2-3 more volumes and I was already wondering how the heck they would complete it in 1 more volume... well not. In this volume it is just some mentions here and there about the demon lord/adventuring but mostly focussing on Kiyori and her life and her wishes, and of course also bits about Haru and her feelings on the world/demon lord/adventuring, and then it is just over????? We get some side story but those just confused me because they take place way early in the story and I think it would have been just better to have them in the earlier volumes. Not to mention, it was SO BORING, not to mention I was so off-put by how the series ended that I frankly didn't care about a time skip.

It is sad that this volume took nearly a year to be produced. I appreciate this final look at her life and the side stories were good as well. The interview and light novel section at the end were a good touch too. I liked getting that inside information behind the development of the series. Overall, this series as a whole is very impactful, emotional, and perhaps disturbing in many people's eyes. But for those who do feel offended at first I would offer only this, out of the muck many times the most beautiful of flowers come. See it through to the end and you will be happy you did. Farewell Haru!

I really enjoyed the series. I was disappointed with the ending, I wanted to see some development or change, but it felt like we were too early for that to happen. Maybe it's good that it ended there idk.

I think the reveal that she actually had been given a power from god was... ehh.
I liked it for the revenge, but i thought the story was going in the direction that she would "join the other side because of how shitty god was"

Haru just seems to be fine with her life and having a home and just doing business as usual, but it's not very satisfying of an end. Also with what god said about her power and her dead friends last wish, I wish we could have seen it to fruition in some form.

more like 3.5★...because WHAT THE HELL!!! how can this be the last volume!!! so many unfinished threads...how did we get so much buildup of haru's powers and the demon king/mysterious rain man......only for none of it to come to fruition? so disappointing.

I enjoyed seeing chiba actually kick some ass and rescue kiyori. those other nuns were such bitches!!

I'm rounding up to 4★ because the series overall has been so strong. but I am very bummed that this is the ending. :/

All great things come to an end and maybe not as you’d like. But for me, it was the way it had to end - wide open with endless possibilities. This series was one of the best adult manga I’ve ever read. On every level it was a work of art. I would say to those out there looking for something different to read, this is it times 1000! Again, I hate to see it end, Haru is the ultimate female protagonist. I can’t even compare her to any other female. One of the best manga in my collection. So good….

Deeply impactful… and devastatingly unsatisfying, in so many ways. Particularly so if you read the short story at the end.

This was a beautiful, dark, sexy, hopeful, and sad series. Some part of me knew it would end the way it did. But I still find the finality of it saddening. There could be so much more story to tell, even if it ends in a way different than most iskekai.

One of my favorite manga series of all time, with vols 5 and 6 being in my “favorite” shelf.

it's bad :(
volume 6 ended on quite a high note and i was expecting this volume to close the story, but it absolutely didn't. half of the book is from another character's (Kiyori) perspective for no reason and don't give much of an ending either, and the only two chapters with Haru were downright useless, the most interesting one (and it's honestly not much) being only 12 pages. awesome.
i love this entire serie so so much and i feel so letdown and upset about this "final" volume :/

I️ was OBSESSED with this story, 1-6. The last volume #7 was a real disappointment. So many strings left loose and a pretty decent chunk of vol 7 isn’t even from Haru’s perspective. This is a very bland ending for what was a very awesome story.

Felt this series ended just when it was starting to get good! A disappointing way to finish the series.

Le tome que j'ai le moins aimé de la série. Alors il était cool mais j'ai vraiment préféré ce que proposait la série, je pensais qu'il y aurait plus de résolution que ça pour nos personnages

Main story here is a total bust. Boring and lacking Haru to make it fun. Some decent closure on a few characters but this is 100 percent skippable.

Cóż jak na koniec serii czuje niedosyt, żaden z wątków nie został zamknięty, obecności Haru było jak na lekarstwo, a potyczki Kiyori nie były aż tak interesujące. Jednym słowem „szkoda strzępić ryja”
