What to Relaxing Colt is the third book of a four-part series and is a continuation of Milly’s story, so reading Books 1–2 is highly recommended! This particular novella has some cozy fall vibes, spicy role-playing action, and also answers a big question about Milly’s latent shifter ability!

Thank you for this ARC copy! Relaxing Colt is the 3rd book in the Shifters in Paradise series - about shifters and fated mates! A spicy (and boy do I mean SPICY) quick read, we finally get more answers about Millie. You must read books 1 and 2 for this to make sense. Great read!

IMPORTANT NOTE! This note is coming from someone who did NOT read the first two books in the series. This did however affect the reading experience for me cause I was majorly confused due to missing a few key points in the story. I was not aware that this book was part of a series after I applied for an ARC copy.

Anyways! This is what I thought of it:

This… was… weird… Look, I’ve read a bunch of weird stuff in my years of reading. But this was an entirely different genre of weird. In all honesty, I felt like I was reading some kind of porn about shapeshifting people with a breeding kink. Oh, and can’t forget the role-playing orgy game. In all honesty, I am at loss for words on what I felt about this whole story. To me, there wasn’t a storyline or a plot for that matter. But like I said, I didn’t read the first two stories..

I don’t know… not my cup of tea I guess. Now saying that, I might give it another shot as soon as I’ve read the other two books. Who knows.. maybe the puzzle pieces will fall back into place.

Another fun and spicy read by Minty Marie!

Book three was just as great at the others and I really enjoyed it! The pace of this book felt perfect and I liked that it focused not just on the romance, but also Colt and Milly working through their traumas. It made for both a tender and spicy read.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC read of Relaxing Colt by Minty Marie and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Shifters in Paradise is a spicy, why choose, romance full of multiple hot men who yearn for our MFC. The story in each of these books goes awfully fast and I wish the novels were longer to make it more of a smooth growth and transition. However, with the length of each of these books, the developed plot is very impressive. I am very excited for the next book in her series and look forward to reading more books by Minty Marie soon!!

"Relaxing Colt" was the third in the 'Shifters in Paradise" series about a group of shifters who live on a special island with Millie, their fated mate. This story focused on the relationship between Colt, one of the shifter mates, and Millie. Millie and Colt have known each other since childhood but they both have gaps in their memories.

Colt feels guilty because he abandoned her by moving away when they were young. They were best friends and fated mates, even though neither one understood what that meant. Together they begin to piece the fragments of their memories together and understand what happened when they were children. Eventually he can get past his guilt, and they enter their fated mates’ relationship with Branch (from a previous book) joining in the fun.

The first two books in the series need to be read first; otherwise, some of the story won't make complete sense. Minty Marie has written another terrific book in the series, and I can’t wait for the fourth book to come out!

This is the third book in the series and was just as cute as the first two. It is a fast read that reveals some of the mysteries from the first two books.

The story revolves around Colt and Millie. There is one spicy time between them and Millie's other fated mates.

Overall, I would have liked to have more spice and romance between Colt and Millie. I think there was too much history and secrets that needed to be revealed that resulted in less spiciness.

It is necessary to read the previous two books in this series in order to enjoy this book fully.

Third instalment
Yay we learn what Milly is. We still have no idea what Millicent wanted with her.

I feel like all of these books have been crazy fun. But this one fell a little short of the mark for me. Even though this is short, there are bits and pieces that could have been cut out. Like the abrupt minutes long visit by Colt’s ex. Why? All it told us is that there are rumours about Milly spreading in the shifter community. It could have been an email 🤣

This third novella felt like it was more about the heat and Colt than about the fun mystery.

Milly and her mates are getting closer. Colt has some secrets he needs to share, and then he can show Milly what she really means to him, along with some help from Branch 😏

Milly’s story continues in the third book of the series, Relaxing Colt.

Colt and Milly have history, and I was so happy for them to finally get their book. Colt has a bit of a secret which very much explained why he’s been so standoffish with Milly.

It was such a sweet novella, and I can’t wait for Archer’s book.

The spice was great, Colt has a very surprising dominant side to him. It’s always the quiet ones. Haha

Continuing the story of the shifters in paradise, Milly learns what shifter she is!!!

Great addition with lots of spice and a little drama well resolved. All these little books are great but it really should just be one book instead of split up, it’s kind of annoying to have them all separately when there’s nothing significantly different between them. It’s like releasing one chapter at a time.

Minty Marie has become one of my instant read authors. She knows how to write a great shifter book and this one is just as good as the first two in the series, maybe my favorite. But don't tell the other guys ;-)
I was excited to learn more about Colt and Milly's past and this book delivered. I don't want to give away any spoilers but it's giving I've always loved you vibes <3
Lastly, can't forget about the super hot spicy scenes 🔥🥵🔥🥵

Mackerel, I'm in love with this series and I hope there's more to come (pun intended). We get more of Colt and Archer in this installment and I'm team Archer. He's such a nice, sexy guy who's heart is in the right place. Milly's identity as a shifter or human is finally solved, and now it's figuring out how to deal with this new reality.

Once again, spice level was 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ and it's a definite recommend if you have a couple hours to spare.

Wow. What do I even say? I am BURSTING at the seams, but I don't want to spoil the story... Lots of shocking stuff happens in this one. She finally remembers to borrow some reading material, but doesn't get a chance to read it. I'm happy that Colt finally came around, but now I understand why he was so stand0ffish before. The only thing left is for Milly to get some quality time alone with Archer! On to book four, I go.

Loved this installment of Milly's story. Not only does she have to deal with a jealous horse shifter but she also goes through her first shift. Oh and how can I forget all the sexy times with her mates. HOT HOT HOT!!!!

The story picks up again from book 2. We find out a few surprises about Colt and solve the mystery of the type of shifter Milly is. Love the steam in this story and how the relationship is developing between Milly and her mates.

First of do read books 1and 2 before reading this one. I love we get to know more of Millie. I enjoy the story of paradise and shifters meeting. I mean who wouldn't want that you know. A nice steamy read though a it short. I do hope the author will put these into one book at the end.

You must read book 1 and 2 before book 3. In this next story Millie and Colt have some deep conversations. You learn a secret about about Colt. And at the end of the story a huge discovery is made. This continuing story is a fun read. You are seeing how each mate and Millie and learning each other. You are going along on her shifter journey. I have enjoyed this short read.
