This book is a great starting point for anyone new and curious about criminology. It covers a wide range of topics at a basic level, making it easy to understand without feeling overwhelming.

What I liked most is how it introduces key ideas clearly and also provide further reading section at the back if you would like to know more. It gives a solid foundation and encourages you to explore deeper if you’re interested.

Overall, I feel it’s an interesting and accessible introduction to the subject. Definitely made me more curious to learn more, and I’m now interested in checking out other books by the author, especially on anthropology and sociology.

The Little Book of Criminology introduces key concepts and debates in clear language, making it a handy starting point for beginners or a quick refresher for those with some background.
Concise, informative, and easy to dip into.

Muito interessante. Abordagem muito clara sobre os assuntos, o que dá uma facilidade de leitura em inglês (no meu caso não sou nativa). É Cultura geral para quem gosta.

Excellent recap of concepts of criminological theory. Great tool for doctoral students in criminology and criminal justice.
