Emergency room doctor Brock Stafford takes good care of patients and minds his own business. But that’s about to change.
Early one morning, Stafford assumes the care of a desperately ill man who soon dies. From a preventable condition, and due to a delayed diagnosis. Troubled, he investigates the clinic involved. A Gripping Premise, Well Told
Unfortunately, we all feel the shifts in our medical resources, the scarcity of MD’s, and the rising staffing and responsibilities of capable nurse practitioners. We also feel the continuation of legislation pushed through by special interests.
This book has wrapped these two converging trends into a fast paced suspense novel where you root for the good guys and hope for justice for the bad guys. I enjoyed the depiction and motivations of the key characters, particularly the doctors, the Head Fed, and the key attorney. I wanted to find out what happens at the end (and was not disappointed)
