Don’t let anyone make you believe you aren’t worthy to be seen by others or yourself. And when you do finally see you, celebrate because are witnessing a miracle. They say we are miracles when we are born and I guess when we become men, we are made to feel we are burdens, but we are not, even if we feel it, we need to remind ourselves that we have value and we are loved and we are worthy to live and to keep breathing.
Heartwarming. I devoured this collection of stories in a single night. Such a cute and emotional trip these books took me on. The struggles of not only being apparent, but a single one and trying to find out who you are, what you want to do, and who you want to be…these stories hit home for me like I am sure they will do for so many others. The only thing I suggest is a professional editor to iron out the minor errors or this would be a five star.
This book is equal parts heartfelt and hilarious. It captures the chaos, love, and resilience of single parenthood with a voice that is refreshingly honest and deeply human. The storytelling feels authentic and full of messy moments, small victories, and the kind of humor only a parent in the trenches could deliver.
