The Advanced Strategy Guide to Minecraft by Stephen O’ Brien is more the just a video game guide. At 252 pages it discusses over a dozen topics and in depth. It was worth the buy and time to read. It included tons of Mining, Farming, and advanced construction tips. I have spent hours of my time read and duplicating this on to my screen. It is all 100% legit and fun to see. I also love how it goes into certain mods you can download so you can to some extra work on your own Minecraft account. It talks about Buildcraft, IndustrailCraft, and Railcraft work. The ting that throws it off the roof is the act that he devoted a chapter to building your own adventure and how to make testing systems with Redstone and a list of over 25 restore machine. There are password locks and light switches, and the list goes on and on. I would recommend this book to any Minecraft fan. It is worth the read and worth the price of $25 dollars. It is one of my favorite of all time and if you don’t get it you are missing out. I rated this book 5/5 because of the author, Stephen O’ Brien. He is so contempt and straight forward with his writing even if you are a noob you can understand what to do and follow through easily. This truly a masterpiece of writing and I might even read it again for the fun of it.
Don't go buying those little pretty guides to Combat or Redstone or what have you for the minecraft nerd in your life. When your loner 10 year old wants to really build automated stuff this is the guide.
I finally understand heaps of things now, all I need is some kind of sleep cycle disrupting substance that will allow me to stay up 6 hours a night building automated farms with hopper+minecart pick up systems leading to automated furnaces.
