As long as you know how to read music!

Written by, I'm guessing, a student of music to show his professor he understands music notation. I am still none the wiser and will have to go elsewhere. Although I'm sure this will be handy for reference at a later date.

Covers The Topic In Reverse

The book itself is ok and covers musical notation as well as a bit of theory along the way. Logically, I would have started with the musical notation and then moved to theory, octaves, steps etc. This one is reverse of that.

Brief, simplistic overview

Was not worth the time to download, even for free. There are so many other good choices. Don't waste your time.
