Recovering banker, emerging author. Wrote my first book, Dispatches from Saint-Tropez, last year. Working on my second book, a novel based in London that examines the terrorist sleeper-cell phenomenon.
I haven’t managed to re-read it since I read it initially for the first time which was a good four or five months ago, and it is one of those books that you should flick through now and again to renew your salah.
However, it absolutely knocked some sense into me on the importance of khushu in salah, a word I previously had no familiarity with. I now recite Surah Fatihah with absolute clarity on its meaning, because in order to have khushu you really should know the meanings of what it is that you are reciting, which is a direct credit to this book.
SubhanAllah. May Allah reward br. Asim Khan for it.
A beautiful book to support you in your journey of salah with practical tips and guidance from prophetic tradition to ensure you understand every moment in your salah and can work towards improving your kushu
