I was gifted this book by the author for an honest review for author S.M. Lynn. This is book 2 from the Out of the Ashes series by the author.
Celeste is trying to escape from the darkness of her past and hopes that it does not effect her future but her past catches up with her. Ian is trying hard to protect his love from her past and to protect their future together but it does not always work out the way you plan it.
I liked the character interaction in this story. The flow of the story line was good even though there was a bump in the road at 1 point otherwise I have no complaints about this book.
This book is for the mature reader because of the sexual content in the story lines. Read book 1 first before you read this book because this book starts where book 1 ends.

Great read!! Finished it too quickly and want more!!! Can't wait for the final book!!!!!!!!!

Spoiler alert
I don’t normally write reviews but I feel this series needs one. I will rate the series a 5 stars it was hard to put the book down but I will rate the ending of this book a 1.5.
I reread the last chapter 4 times to make sure I didn’t miss anything but that was one hell of a cliff hanger. I mean really you couldn’t at least ended at Ian looked at her or something but now we have no clue if he survived. Errr never been so frustrated over a book in my life. With the way that ended I would think there’s a book 3 but the other 2 books were written in 2014 so I’m not counting on it.
But with everything aside the book well written and very entertaining. Sorry I couldn’t give a higher rating but with the ending like that you should be happy to get 2 stars out of me.
Now if you mysteriously come up with a bonus chapter than my rating will go up to 5 stars.

I really enjoyed!

I received this for an honest review!! I have to say I fell in love with the first book Out of the Ashes and my love is cemented in this one also. This story is the perfect continuation of the first book... I am super anxious to read the next in the series... I absolutely can not wait!!!!
