Book Two in the In Other Words series

Damien Wolfe is ferociously sexy. Emmie Mason is fastidiously stubborn. When fate brings them together, they are both challenged by the other F-word…forever.

Fashionable forty-four-year-old, Emmie Mason is content with her fastidious life. She has everything she needs in her loving family and friends. Her eldest daughter, Marley, has married the man of her dreams, and she has a new grandchild. What more could a woman ask for?

She isn’t prepared for fate to slap her in the face in the form of a bridal bouquet. Or worse, to run into the fantasy-inducing, eye-catching, panty-dropping, swoon-worthy man she’s been thinking about for over a year, even though they only danced together once.

As it turns out, thirty-year-old real estate mogul Damien Wolfe has been thinking about her too. Damien’s flirty, funny and forthright personality challenges Emmie and tilts her world. But it’s his kind soul and compassionate demeanor that really frighten her.

He’s easy to fall for, but how could she ever recover if she risked her heart to him? Can they both overcome their fears and commit to that other F-word…Forever?

MK Schiller

MK Schiller is a hopeless romantic in a hopelessly pragmatic world. By day, she dons a magic cape, calculator (sometimes an abacus), and an assortment of gel pens for her work in the world of finance. But by night, she sits by the warm glow of her computer monitor, and conjures up handsome heart-warming heroes and the vivacious heroines they love.

A wife and mother of two loveable, but angst-ridden teenagers, she enjoys movies, gardening, and travelling. Although she loves to write, she is a reader first and enjoys nothing more than curling up with a good book and some tasty Italian (the food, of course!). She hopes you will enjoy her stories and write to her.

Not knowing a word of English, MK Schiller came to America at the age of four from India. Since then, all she’s done is collect words. After receiving the best gift ever from her parents—her very own library card—she began reading everything she could get her greedy hands on. At sixteen, a friend asked her to make up a story featuring the popular bad boy at school. This wasn’t fan fiction…it was friend fiction. From that day on, she’s known she wanted to be a writer. With the goal of making her readers both laugh and cry, MK Schiller has penned more than a dozen books, each one filled with misfit characters overcoming obstacles and finding true love.

4.5--It Was Fate--Stars!!!

Another great addition to the series. Really, really enjoyed this one. There were just a few things keeping me from giving it a full five-stars! Nevertheless, this one was super fun and funny and it was great to see the rest of the family back in action!

Oh and thank you for bringing Van Morrison....aka Pussy back!!!

The Other F-Word is Emmie's story. Emmie is Marley, Stevie and Billie's mom. I fell in love with her in The Other C-Word. She's been a single mom her whole life, raising all three of her children and neglecting her own needs, wants and desires.

A year or so ago, Emmie shared a dance with a handsome, young stranger at Stevie's bachelorette party and again they met in a limo at Marley's wedding. That handsome young stranger, was billionaire Damien Wolfe. Fate brought them together again, when Damien decides to hold a charity event at the library where Emmie works.

Only problem is, Emmie has a problem with their age difference. Damien is 30 and Emmie is 44. Emmie was very reluctant to pursue her feelings for Damien. Like very relunctant. Almost got on my nerves reluctant.

Who cares how old he is. Billionaire, handsome, young....

I really loved Damien's character. He was perfect. Emmie, eventually agrees to see where things go with Damien. But she never commits herself 100%. In the back of her mind, she always doubts that it will work.

Will they ultimately want different things in the end? Things Emmie can't give Damien and things Emmie didn't think she wanted anymore?

The restaurant scene with Kevin....

I wanted to kick Emmie's ass!

So yes, my main reasons for not being able to give this 5 stars have to do with Emmie.

Both Damien and Emmie have to decide if they can both overcome their fears....is their love for each other enough to get passed the differences that exist between them?

Overall, I still really enjoyed this one. It had steam, angst, and humor...the perfect mix!

I really, really, really hope that Billie and maybe even Dillon will get their own book!!!

I’d call this one bittersweet. Really like this author but this one kinda depressed me near the end. The older woman/younger man theme is not my favorite but it worked well enough here. Emmie/Jessie took her sweet time before she succumbed to Damien’s charms. Damien did get fed up with the chase and gives up early on and I don’t blame him. However, they meet up again a year later….call it fate.

***THIS IS WHERE THINGS GET SPOILERISH***So read on or not, but I’ll bet your curious, right? :D

Emmie/Jessie’s reasons for the older woman/younger man issues seem to work out okay until near the end when she suddenly realizes he’ll want kids and she doesn’t (tubes tied). ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!?! That didn’t factor into her thought process during 3/4ths of the bk when the age thing was an issue?!?! This is where is got depressing for me. Things get strained once she breaks that no kids news to him. They break up and Damien begins dating someone else. The get back together for a one night hook up, still pining away and in love with each other but go their separate ways. He did end things with his current relationship before the hook up. Whew – no cheating. They get together again awhile later, and it’s just painful to read how perfect they are for each other but he’s younger and desperately wants kids (side drama about his previous relationship). She’s had hers and is done. They part ways again. Lots of moping around and near the end she finally works out that kids with him would be a yes, he shows up begging her back regardless of the kids issue, she tells him it’s a go and everything works out, HEA.

Put me in one downer mood and I was disappointed. I really like this author and had been looking forward to this one. The up side to this story is we get more awesomely sweet Rick Randy who “worships” Marley (from bk 1) and I get such the charge out of funny, cute Adam (Stevie’s hubs). Dillion is also fun so that much of the story was very appealing. Just know going in what you’re in for and hope you enjoy it a heck of a lot more than I did. Hard to rate this one with all the ups and downs but I’m gonna go with 3 stars.

“Having you is enough. Having you is the only thing I need.” – Damien

The Other F Word was flirty, funny, feeling, fulfilling and fab-u-lous… I’ve been dying for more of this series since falling in love with these characters in The Other C Word. I particularly love how this author takes sensitive subjects and injects light-heartedness into her stories. One minute you’re laughing with her characters, the next minute your welling up with them. In The Other F Word, MK Schiller once again serves up a big dose of heart, plenty of swooning, lots of giggles and a very high steam factor! This series will be a 1click for me with every book.

I’ve missed the warm and whacky Mason family and the extended Masons and once again reveled in joining them around the dinner table to partake in some friendly banter, sarky wit and the hilarious innuendos that MK produces so flawlessly. Seriously, how do I always manage to giggle at the “pussy” comments. Does me every time! MK Schillers portrayal of this family is absolutely wonderful and her writing draws me in from the start.

Emmie Mason has selflessly and singlehandedly raised 3 beautiful daughters and each is a credit to her. What they lacked materially growing up, Emmie more than made up for with love, understanding and instilling in her daughters the importance of who being who they are. Music and humour plays a big part of their lives and I especially love how MK Schiller weaves this into her stories. We learnt Marley’s (Emmie’s daughters) story in book one and the guilt Emmie feels in regards Marley still eats away at her as Emmie faces life on her own for the first time.

“It’s because you’re my everything. I know the sacrifices you made for me and the guilt you carry in your heart. I want you to stop.” – Marley

Now with all her children flying the coop, forty four year old Emmie finds herself looking to sell the large family home which is a bittersweet decision as she looks forward to the next phase of her life, yet leaving behind a place where so many beautiful memories were made and built, and good times were shared is difficult for her.

Emmie doesn’t have any plans beyond selling her house, but one thing she didn’t envisage was one divine, single, ridiculously sexy, gorgeous 30 year old Mr Damien Wolfe……*insert a very heavy sigh here*….. entering her life at this time.

” A man like Damien Wolfe is as dangerous as meth – highly addictive and devastating.” – Emmie

Wow! I was seriously in love with this man. His humour, his kindness, his possessiveness, his hotness…. and the way he treated Emmie….yep, I was completely smitten!

Even though I understood Emmie’s reluctance due to the age difference, I have to say her indecisiveness frustrated me at times. Still, she wasn’t going to phase Damien with her worries, all he saw was a sexy, warm and beautiful woman and the near 15 year age difference between him and flirty, sexy Emmie didn’t appear to be an issue.

“Sure there would be pros to having a relationship with an older woman……….”We’d probably get discounts on meals…but then again, we’d have to eat dinner at four o’clock. ” – Damien

I really did Emmie and Damien’s story and they certainly managed to shred my heart a time or two throughout. Damien’s past, when revealed was gut wrenching. You wonder if these two make it through. After all, the heart may know what the heart wants, but is that always enough? I loved the Other F Word. I laughed with her characters and I cried with them with them, and was I completely engrossed every step of the way.

“You don’t have any scars.” – Emmie
“They exist. They’re just not visible. You make them better. You heal me……” – Damien

On a side note: I almost want to give a star just for the music choice! Seriously…..you had me at The White Stripes, Rodriguez and Pink Floyd! I was in my element! Not to mention the visual of Mr Wolfe getting all hot and sweaty to Seven Nations Army while fixing the water heater in his painting jeans….oh dear lord……………….

I’d definitely recommend adding this series to your TBR’s. I can’t wait for book three and I really, really hope it’s Billie’s story and that Derek is included in there somewhere!

Once in a while I come across a book that has me fist pumping excited so much that before it’s even released I’m telling all my friend they HAVE to read it. The Other F-Word is one of those books. I LOVED IT! From the characters to the story line, my brain was checking marking every box of what I require in a book. Great characters – Check. Witty dialog – Check. Sweet romance – check. Build up to a one heck of a HEA – Check. Great sex scenes – CHECK!!! Let me extrapolate.

Emmie and her family. Filled with vibrancy, sibling rivalry and quirky 'relatives' (blood or not) Emmie's family felt as real as they come. These are people I could and would want to hang out with. In case you missed it, there are a LOT of characters. Each and every one of have an added importance to the story-line.

Emmie/Jessie and Damien - Cougar and Wolf. Her double name is a funny story in itself. Serious, what wasn’t there to love of these two interacting together. Damien certainly wasn’t what I was expecting. Nowadays, when a book has a ‘rich’ guy in, I’m thinking he’s going to come off all Alpha and dominate the woman. Not so here. Instead I found Damien to be warm, caring and very down to earth. The teasing as friends leading to lover felt so natural. Nothing seemed rushed in this perfectly paced book. The combination of playful and serious moments had me sighing and giggling thorough the whole book. I’m thinking back now about certain parts and smiling all over again.

I truly did expect a different kind of book from the title The Other F-Word. Something nasty and wicked. Instead, I discovered a wonderful book that had me laughing, crying and a family that I would love to be adopted into. If you’re ready to take a break from all the YA and NA books that have flooded the book market, then read The Other F-Word by M.K. Schiller. You most certainly will not be disappointed.

Dish - This is the best book I have read this year.

I received this book from JeepDiva for the express purposes of an honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine and in no way was I compensated.

4.25 stars. There were a few things that annoyed me and loose ends that I didn't think got answered. I'm a person that craves completeness in a book and there were a few holes. Most of the book was great though!

I'd like to extrapolate as to why I really liked this book! :)

First off, at the end of the first book I still felt uneasy about Marley's situation and how safely she and Rick could move on together and with children. This book definitely gives you a look into how they are working through her issues and it's not easily solved with the HEA at the end of the book. It was good to see them and how realistically they are moving on with the situation.

The author continues to write the absolute best characters by adding so much humor and chemistry. As she did in The Other C-Word and The Do-Over, she tackles some heavy topics that are tactfully developed throughout her stories. They are sensitive issues that are always handled delicately and give you a bigger picture into the characters.

I'm not usually drawn to the books that are the older woman/younger man genre. I'm not sure I would have bought this book if, 1. I hadn't been on a roll with 2 great books already by her; or 2. if this book wasn't the 2nd in a series. And boy do I feel hypocritical as I'm 39 and have no problem reading younger women/older men books (that are flooding the market - most in the billionaire genre).

Although I knew Emmie was young when she had Marley, Stevie and Billie, it was hard for me for much of the book to picture her at 44 and Daminen at 30. I couldn't get a picture for both of them in my mind (and I REALLY don't like Ashton Kutcher and he was the only similar situation I could think of). Damien is much more alpha than the other 2 heroes in the books I read and I LOVED him. He was the right match for Emmie. But with Emmie, I never could get a visual as sometimes she sounded a little too crunchy hippy dippy for my tastes.

BUT as soon as I found my mind distractedly wandering to picture her, the author always managed to distract me with her incredible writing and witty dialogue. The age difference was never an issue for me when the two of them were together. By the end of the book, it really wasn't even a concern for me as the author did an excellent job seeing you through the same journey Emmie and Damien made. And last comment - I will confess that as a child I played library. So the librarian role play in this book - hilarious!

So I was hovering between 4 and 5 stars. There were some parts of this book that were brilliant, some parts where I wanted to throw my e-Reader. Both characters Emmie and Damien are wonderful and the family? How I loved Dillon. :) I was giggling when Emmie went on a date with Adam's boss and she had a wingman...hahaha!

What the couple went through in their relationship was as expected when the age difference—especially the woman—was a factor. And I really liked how Emmie weighed the consequences carefully. Damien was swoon worthy and I like that he was extremely jealous of Emmie. What brought the book down a bit for me was how Damien reacted toward the end the book that caused the angst. I felt that knowing he would be involved with an older woman he would be prepared for certain limitations. I would have been okay if it didn't last too long, but it did. I know I'm a bit vague, but I didn't want to include spoilers.

I contemplated on finishing reading this book. I felt Emmie/Jessie was too old for Damien. Until I helped a 40 year old beautiful patient and a 30 year old hot guy. Then I thought, it's possible.. Hey, I've read Education of Sebastian and At Your Beck And Call. I never thought I'd actually like this. It's so weird. I liked the senior citizen reference. Hehehe. "You do know how to text, right?" Something like that.. If I didn't have a husband now, I'd probably be a cougar too. Hehe.. I feel young anyway :) --JB

I skimmed through basically the last 1/2, even 2/3 of the book to finish. While I enjoyed the 1st in the series, sadly this one was missing something for me.

The Other F-Word (In Other Words #2) by M K Schiller

3 Stars

Beginning where book one ends this story follows Emmie, Marley’s mum, and her journey back into the dating world now her girls have all grown and started lives of their own.

The Other F-Word is book two in the ‘In Other Words’ Series and I have to say I didn’t enjoy this quite as much as book one. I wasn’t keen on the older woman/younger man scenario, it isn’t that I have anything against relationships with an age difference, they just aren’t something I like to read about. I didn’t like the on again off again issues they had and the reasons for their ‘discontent’ were a little ‘WTF’ considering Emmie’s age, the fact she has grown up children and also a grandchild. I mean, come on, shouldn’t Damian have realised from the off that there could be a problem here? If a family is what he wanted why go for an older woman? It just didn’t make sense to me.

M K Schiller is a great writer and has created some interesting and fun characters. The interactions between most are natural, though the dynamics between Emmie and Damian didn’t always flow so well and didn’t work for me.

This is actually the 2nd book I read with a cougar as heroine. I don’t go with that genre. If others are particular with the heroine as Virgin, me, I always want the heroine to be younger than the hero.

But I came to realized stepping out of you’re your comfort zone doesn’t hurt really. And I am really glad I did. I love M.K. Schiller writing style. She can make me laugh with the simple gesture/ conversation/ plot then she made me cry the next.

I give this one 5 ‘F- word’ star! Fantastic, Fabulous, Fireworks, Fulfilling, Flirtatious kind of Star! :-).

All the while I thought, good men are boring. Damien proves me wrong though. Its one thing I love this story, Damien kind of love for Emmy is something to be jealous of. I have a good laughed but when the conflicted presented, my heart aches too.

******I hope you'll read it too guys.

After a couple of chance encounters when they both felt attracted to each other, Emmie and Damien finaly have a proper introduction when he comes into to the library where she works. The attraction they felt still lingered and none had forgotten about the other. Whereas Damien wants to build a relationship with Emmie, she has hang-ups, mainly the facts that she is 42 to his 30 year old, and she already has three adult children.

The romance was sweet. I loved Emmie big family and the interaction they had with each other. But I have two reserves: first, at time Damien possessiveness seemed a litlle too much for my liking, bordering toward creepiness. Secondly, Emmie change of heart at the end bothered me a little . Anyway I liked this book well enough.

This was a very sweet read that made me cry too. I have to say the women in this family are the most lucky because OMG this men! I loved Damiens adition to the family because I love his attitude and how honest he is. He is the perfect fit for Emmie and sometimes i wanted to shake her for being so stubborn! I thought it was going to be weird to read this story because of the main character but it turns out that it was easy going and as it says in the book- that is not a normal traditional family so it works!

*4.5 stars! Loved this one, such great writing! Yes, taboo a bit with 44 YO woman with three grown kids dating 30 YO man but the author does a great job of making us believe the chemistry and showing their true connection. Comparable to Whitney Gracia's series. Didn't want it to end!

This review was originally posted on Fifty Shades of Books

3.5 out of 5 Stars

After marrying off her second daughter and sending her third daughter off to college, Emmie Mason now has an empty nest. And while all her family ("adoptive sons" and son-in-laws included) fears that she might be lonely, they don't know that Emmie - however young, sexy and fashionable she looks - is not looking for any commitment.

Yet, fate has any other plans for her, and she keeps on bumping into Damien Wolfe - real-estate billionaire and 15 years her junior - who, after 15 years of not dating, elicits quite a reaction from her. And he's also quite infatuated with her, to the point of chasing her relentlessly.

While Damien and Emmie understand each other on a spiritual level, the reality is that they lead very different lives, and that they might have different expectations from each other. Will these differences keep them from finding their forever?

What I loved about this book:

The great side-characters
The hilarious banter

What I felt needed improvement:

The main characters both had annoying flaws
The age-difference put quite a damper on the story (sorry...)

As open-minded as I am, and as much as I loved Emmie's big, extended family of weirdos, I had a little difficulty in accepting the age difference between Emmie and Damien. After all, she was 44 and he is 15 years younger. I know people will hate me and tell me that when it happens the other way around no-one ever bats an eye, but I probably had issues understanding how a love story can develop between those two when Emmie is more than established and leads a complex life.

Or maybe what was awkward was the fact that it didn't make such a massive difference in anyone's but their own lives: Emmie's family was fine with it, her best friend too, and also Damien's mother. In real life, I'm not quite sure the couple would have elicited such absolutely positive reactions - but I digress...

So... this book is not just about age difference, but it is also about fate (since somehow Emmie and Damien keep bumping into each other) and also an Office Romance since the two of them eventually meet again in a professional capacity. The Series' Book #1 The Other C-Word and also The Do-Over (which is not part of this series, but also a book by the same author) revolve around office romance as well. This seem to be a recurring theme with M.K. Schiller - but I do not mind!

But in the end, most of the book is about their age difference and about whether or not Emmie and Damien have a future. Both characters have fears (and chapters in their life that led to them), but Damien was definitely more eager to get over those fears than Emmie. She wants to explore where this is going, but doubts are always in the back of her mind (does he really want her, and is this not just a fling?), which gives the couple some hard times. This was especially frustrating since Damien goes out of his way to make her understand that to him, age difference doesn't matter, because that seems to be the only thing she's hung up on.
"He loved me. I knew that. It wasn't enough. He wanted those other F-words I couldn't give him - a future, a family, a forever..."

Damien is actually relentless in pursuing her and literally begging Emmie to give him a chance. He's hot, he's sexy, he's romantic, he knows how to seduce... and he's a famous billionaire.
"Let me satisfy all your cravings with that special four-letter word that begins with F and will leave you completely sated."

All in all, what's there not to like about Damien? ... Just the fact that at some point, he gets a tad annoying. As the relationship progresses, he starts to become super jealous and starts acting like a caveman. And then, when other factors enter the relationship-equation, his reactions are over the top, and kinda go against all the things he was fighting for. So in the end, there was a lot of sulking and back and forth involved, which strained the story quite a bit.

While the interactions between the main characters were a bit frustrating at times, I was glad that the other characters in the book (cue Emmie's quirky family and cohorts) were on top of their game and the cause for some hilarious banter, especially during dinner. Emmie's surrogate sons and sons-in-law are absolutely hilarious, and I love the family's "dish" sessions. M.K. Schiller's writing is absolutely great and her ability to give life to characters is outstanding.
"I'm a girl. We love to torture ourselves. Sometimes it's the only way we can find inner-peace."
"Hmmm... No wonder I'm not interested in any of you."

In summary, The Other F-Word was fun, flirty and a nice read altogether (with a couple a very enjoyable steamy scenes) - and with the added bonus of a really, really good playlist. Unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite read from this author, but it will still guarantee you a good time.

This was so close to being a 5 for me. But 5 is for the perfect story, told in the perfect way, at the perfect time. This just missed on all points.

I found it beyond jarring to have characters in Chicago, who are allegedly American, who say favourite and pyjamas. If the author is British, it’s lazy. If the author is American, it’s an affectation that is just annoying. Also, organisations. And smelt (for smelled). And realisation/realise. And apologise. So I’m irritated to hell and back that I even kept this list while I was reading... I read Harry Potter in the original British English instead of the American translations, but the setting is...Britain! Not Chi town.

Another irritant was each time a character said “my truth” - I expected a hashtag to be preceding it, if not full orchestral accompaniment. But whatevs. The story was interesting. I really liked how he walked away in the beginning - finally a male character who acts realistically. Like so many books with strong beginnings, however, by the end it was more about the cast than the couple. So just a 3.

I so loved the first book in this Series, I was excited to read the next. This is a good story, but for me, it was somewhat disappointing. I did find it refreshing for the heroine to be a woman in her 40’s. As you know from the first book, Emmie is the mother to three grown daughters and has two wonderful son-in-laws and a friend, she treats like a son. Emmie has a solid bond with her kids and is a very strong woman and she lets you know it- - “I toured with the Grateful Dead, you know.” What she does not have is a man in her life, actually, she has not a male companion for more than a decade. That all changes when Damien comes into her life. They have an instant attraction to each other, but it takes over a year for this relationship to get going. Part of the delay is that there is a 15 year age difference. Emmie, the sweet and loving grandma, is now a “Cougar”.
Emmie and Damien have a very steamy relationship. Actually this book had one too many bedroom scenes in it, which I felt took away from the storyline. I was not sold on the turn of events that occurred at the end, as Emmie was very clear what she wanted for her future. Maybe a Billionaire would make a lady change her mind, but I did not buy it. As for Damien being a Billionaire, I thought that was unnecessary. Why do all the authors make the leading men Billionaires? What is wrong with a plain old Millionaire? Especially, since according to Forbes 2014, there are only 30 Billionaries under the age of 40 in the whole world. It was fun to catch up on Marley and Rich, Stevie and Adam, Billie, and Dillon. I love when they “Dish”! There were few laughs and some stimulating conversations between Emmie and Damien, but the ending was forced, which make their relationship seem not very realistic. I realize this is a book and not real life, but I like my romances to be at least believable. Rating:3.75 Stars

The Other F-Word begins with Emmie seeing her eldest daughter getting married. Now all of her children are moved out of the house, and she's not sure what to do with herself. Until another chance meeting with a man she meet more than a year ago, Damien Wolfe. Emmie and Damien have an immediate attraction to each other, but Emmie isn't sure where it could really go. But some how they start a beautiful relationship that ends up taking all kinds of crazy turns.. Neither one are sure how they will create their happily ever after, or if it will even come.

When I started this book I didn't have too much hope for it, because I didn't care for the first one all that much. But I was very surprised by this one. Emmie was fierce, and hilarious! And Damien just added to her quirkiness while also being a possessive alpha male that I love so much. Damien was also very sweet and caring, and he treated Emmie like an angel. These two together were absolutely amazing. They are the perfect couple. I'm not sure you could get a more perfect couple than these two. I also think Emmie was very selfless towards the end as well. I couldn't believe she did that. In some ways I ways kinda disappointed in Damien for him kind of giving up a little, but I understood where he was coming from, but it was still odd.

There were really only two things that bugged me about this story,

1) I hated that Damien calls Emmie, Jessie. I just didn't get it.

2) I felt like we never really understood the reason why Emmie felt like she couldn't give Damien certain things towards the end. I think it had something to do with guilt, and Marley, but it was never really said bluntly, so it made me wonder exactly what was going through her head.

Other than these things this story was truely amazing. Probably one of the best I've read all year. I couldn't believe how much I laughed in this book, and then cried right along with the characters.

5 STARS

I loved this book and the return visit to the Mason family. This time we get Emmie Mason's story. Emmie is the mother of three beautiful daughters Marley, Stevie, and Billie. She also has two handsome son-in-laws Rich and Adam then there's Dillon the gay best friend of Marley's that they basically adopted. This family is full of love, laughter, and happiness. When they're together you never know what's gonna happen.

Emmie hasn't been with a man or dated in 15 years. She doesn't bring men to her house or around her daughters. A year ago at her daughter Stevie's hen party she danced with a guy named Damien and hasn't been able to forget him since. Imagine her surprise when 14 months after initially meeting him she runs into him again when she accidentally climbs into the back of his limo drunk leaving her daughter Marley's wedding.

Damien Wolfe is quite surprised when "Jessie" the woman he met and danced with at a club almost a year and half ago climbs into his limo by accident. He hasn't been able to get her out of his mind since they danced. Then when he runs into her a couple days later working at the library he's thinking of making his charity for his company's annual benefit.

Emmie and Damien are attracted to one another and when they are together I find myself laughing or almost blushing with their sex scenes. I love these two and the way they tease each other as they become close. Damien is such a sweet and kind man and you can tell that he loves her. Emmie loves Damien but she's older then he is and she has valid concerns about their relationship but that doesn't stop her from falling in love with him.

A truly wonderful book that I recommend to all book lovers out there.

Food, Fuck, Fabulous, Fantastic, Forever and Family.

Just a few F-Words that I have picked up from reading this book. I have to say, I enjoyed this as much as the first one. I had a lot of fun being in Damien and Emmie's (Jessie) world. You'll understand the deal with the heroine's name once you get to read the book.

“Having you is enough. Having you is the only thing I need.” – Damien

Emmie was a newly forty-four year mother of three and grandmother of one. She never expected that a young, hot and rich thirty year old Damien Wolfe would take interest in her despite the one year that has passed since they danced that night at a bachelorette party.

I absolutely enjoyed this sexy romance. It had off the chart steamy love scenes and the chemistry between Damien and Emmie was pouring from my e-reader. There were a lot of funny scenes as well. Especially when it involved Emmie's children. Plus, her crazy yet sexy banters with Damien was also funny to read.

“You don’t have any scars.” – Emmie
“They exist. They’re just not visible. You make them better. You heal me……” – Damien

I loved Emmie, she was such a great parent to her children. Not to mention, she's been strong for so long and I admire her for that.
Damien was absolutely sexy. He's actually one of the good guys, you could feel that he's sincere from the beginning. Plus, he made me swoon so much, I wanted to reach inside the book and just kiss him.

I hope this wouldn't be the last from the series. I'm hoping for Billie's story next or maybe Derek. If ever they end up together, it wouldn't be bad at all. Whatever it is, I'll be watching out.

5 FREAKING FABULOUS STARS!!!

This is the romance to beat all romances. Emmie is a serious, caring, and very 'plugged in mother. A great employee. A very intelligent and beautiful woman. She also happens to be scared out,of her mind at the prospect of letting love back into her life.
Damien is a man used to the finer things in life, and when he meets the vivacious Jessie, while out clubbing; he knows he's found it.
Emmie never thought that she would see the sexy stranger that stole her breath and starred in her dreams.
Until...
The first two chapters inch along as readers are introduced to Emmie and her family, but once Damien enters the picture, the romantic view comes into full and vibrant focus fast. The easy discourse and playful banter that Jessie/Emmie and Damien share, makes their relationship read as natural. It is not at all a stretch to slip into Emmie's shoes and walk her winding road to love.
As the read progresses and the relationship deepens, Damien is the first to show his soft underbelly. Turns out his wallet isn't the only thing that is golden. This man has a heart as big as his bank vault, and he wants to give his Jessie the key.
The older woman/younger man scenario is very well played out. Emmie/Jessie's and misgivings are respectfully and honestly explored and addressed, while Emmie/Jessie is allowed to keep her power and never made to appear as though she is inferior to the 'force of nature' that is her man.
Get ready for the feels.
The second half of this book is jam packed with heart stopping emotion.
Yep, this is the part where you're gonna need Kleenex.
I won't go so far as to ruin things for you, but I will say that this book bring new meaning to the term 'cougar'.
And...
Damien Wolfe is one predator determined to hear his lady cat purr.
