Heartwarming romance💓
Love,Love,Love, this book could not put this book down. Loved it’s characters enjoyed Its new characters in the series, Parker and Clover. And enjoyed the location of Martha’s Vineyard.It brought back memories of time spent vacationing there. The strong sense of family continued in this book as well. Love,Love Love the series.

I've read all the "Colors of Happiness" books in the series so far and have enjoyed them all although I think Nicki Got Spunk has become my favorite. Parker is an instant heartthrob and man of your dreams - a single dad intent on giving his baby daughter a loving and supportive family life, something he never had and still wants for himself. After his ex girlfriend suddenly removes herself from their lives he decides to go back home seeking support and hoping to form a connection between his little girl and his dysfunctional family. Nicki is recovering from a broken engagement and trying to move on and figure out what she wants to do with her life now that she's in control of it and on her own - but her quasi stalker ex fiance just can't let her go. Neither were looking for love but seem to have found each other at just the right time and place. I found myself clapping and cheering out loud more than once!

Finding love can happen at anytime when you least expect it. This was one of those books that once I started reading, I couldn't stop. The characters felt real as if I was there with them. I love how the characters evolved through the story. This is also the 3rd book in the series, and you will see names of the characters from the other books. You do not have to read the other books to understand this book, but it would be nice so you are familiar with all of the characters. It is a perfect read, and I would recommend this book.

Nicki got Spunk is the third book in the Colors of Happiness series and I just love this series and all the characters. This is about Nicki and Parker. Each chapter is written either by Nicki's thoughts and side and then the next is about Parker. This is about finding love and not letting the past get in the way of finding true love and not judging on your past experiences. This was such a wonderful read and very touching. This is a series but can be read as a stand alone but why would you. You will really enjoy all the stories and a must read.

Nicki Got Spunk is a 5 star read for me! This is a great book about Nicki and Parker. The two of them met accidentally, and it turned out to be a good thing. Parker stole my heart, taking over the care of his infant daughter. Nicki fell in love with his baby, too. It was so much fun seeing how they overcame obstacles and became their own little family. Annette, thank you for writing this book. I can't wait for the next one!

In the third book we get to spend time with Nicki and Parker. And we learn the importance of not judging someone's past as part of their present. The story has a strong sense of the importance of community throughout it and of course Ms. Anders does another great job of taking the reader to Martha's Vineyard - and let me tell you, as a Phoenician enduring 28 straight days of 110 plus degrees (so far), it was a nice book to dive into!

I love how the characters from the previous books in the series continue to intertwine with Nicki got Spunk book.
This book is about finding love through Unexpected situations, blessings, forgiveness, taking chances, and much more!! This book definitely deserves all five stars!!!

This is a really enjoyable series and who wouldn’t love a handsome man and a baby, if you haven’t read the previous books you are missing a treat. I look forward to reading Carla’s story.

I love the Colors of Happiness Book Series by Annette G. Anders and her latest book, Nicki got Spunk, Colors of Happiness Book III, did not disappoint. Annette sure hit the emotion buttons with this story! We’re introduced to an Army gentleman, Parker, who I’d like to classify as the new “McDreamy”. Reading, and anticipating, Nicki’s and Parker’s next moves was worth every page turn. Nicki got Spunk, Colors of Happiness Book III is a book I highly recommend.

I love these reoccurring characters and the locations that make me want to book my next vacation and go there right now.
Nicki's story did not disappoint, great story about not letting your past failed relationships ruin possible future ones and not to judge people based on preconceived notions.

I just finished Nicki got Spunk. What a great read! You will fall in love with Parker who is a new dad and has his hands full. Is his heart big enough for Nicki too? Is hers? It's such a fun story and you will love it! Anders has done it again!
