Вибачте, але коли в історію заходить сюжетна лінія «вона піддається абʼюзу і не знає як йому про це сказати, а він догадується, що щось не так й готовий ради неї піти на все» just giving Джоні та Шенон з ВоТ, то або мене вже паяє просто або… а іншого або нема, мене просто паяє, на цьому впринципі все.
Які ж вони один до одного ніжні та дбайливі🥺немає цієї жаги та пристрасті, виключно тепле та справжнє кохання 😭may this type of love found me

P.S. я не знаю де позначити, що я закінчила читати цю манхву( на 111 главі, кінець 2 сезону, чекаю 3🤞🏻😔), гудрідс не має якоїсь чіткої книжки для позначки, тому поставлю тут( хоча це книга що позначує 32-46 глави, але хай буде вже)

I rated the previous two volumes two stars and was almost ready to give up on this story until I got here.

Wow.

While Iske has a lot of making up to do for his past mistakes, the “touch her and die” scenes in this volume got to me. I’m a simple girl, so yes, this is embarrassingly working on me. Besides, his pov definitely helped his case, so brownie points for that (?)

I can’t believe how my thoughts changed so drastically in just one volume, but I’m not complaining! Just hoping he keeps fixing his previous shitty attitude because I’m still a bit mad at him for it.

“Even if you were to stop wanting me one day and withdraw the warmth you had once given me, every moment we shared together will forever remain etched on my soul.” The way I inhaled these in less than a day should be studied. I didn’t eat. I didn’t sleep. I did nothing but read this manwha. So what if I have no life? As long as I get to read angsty fantasy webtoons.

Iske’s character arc was actually really great. I like how he didn’t fall for Ruby immediately and it took him time to know and understand her. Also the bath scene..🫦His face card didn’t decline in a single panel. He’s literally some kind of Greek god in human form I swear. Also the fact that the alt title is “how to get my husband on my side” and he was always on her side from the start🤧 He still loved her even when she was QUITE LITERALLY the villain in the story. Sickening. His crashouts whenever something bad happened to Ruby are my roman empires. HE DID NOT PLAY WHEN IT CAME TO HER.

I will protect Ruby until my dying breath. The things she went through. The things that cowardly bitch Cezar did to her. She’s come so far and I’m so happy that she now has people that believe her and cherish her. On those last few episodes I was actually feeling ill. I had to take some advil because WTF. I shed tears.

Ellen was such a baddie. Best character 💯

I enjoyed this story. It was initially so heartbreaking to see the FL’s perspective. There are moments of humor with the characters, especially when the monsters show up. The attitudes of the people are so annoying and frustrating which speaks to the writers abilities to draw you into Izek’s and Ruby’s story.

Overall the story itself addresses so many real topics: eating disorders, CPTSD, familial abuse, attempted SA, bullying/othering. It doesn’t gloss over the realities and at the same time much of the writing and imagery is subtle so it doesn’t care over the whole plot. There’s definitely a slow healing theme as the series volumes progress.

Now, we're talking.

I love how everyone that I know I can trust is standing up for Ruby. With the additional of Popori, Griffin and a Dragon, Ruby have so many people and Demon on her side now. Especially our Izek. His desire to protect Ruby is...*chef kiss*. The slow burn is burning in a good way. He's slowly falling for Ruby and he falls hard.

But ugh, that Lorenzo guy. I hate him so much. Seeing Izek putting that manchild in his place is so satisfying. Actually no, I want to punch Lorenzo myself.

¡POR QUÉ SE ACABÓ TAN RÁPIDO!
Sentí que la tercera temprano pasó volando.
Y a pesar de que no fue tan explícito como en la novela, me gustó lo que pasó, lástima que los problemas aún no terminan pero al menos nuestros hermosos protagonistas siguen juntos y se han liberado y confesado lo que sienten.

Espero que la próxima temporada no tarde nada.

Reviewing this during a hiatus and I love it. I love how the ML's family slowly realizes what is going on with Ruby and Ruby slowly learning that she can trust them. The characters are well written and have a lot of depth. I can't say I have experienced anything like Ruby's past but I believe her reactions and how she's moving on from them are well written and make sense? Great story!
