HOLY HALO, BOOK FAM!
This series finale had me questioning my life choices, clutching my pearls, and silently whispering “what in the celestial drama just happened?!”

From the first page to the last winged whisper, this was a ride through divine chaos. Imagine Lucifer met Good Omens, swiped right, and decided to have a book baby—then threw in today’s headlines just for flavor. Yeah. THAT kind of epic.

Let’s talk angels, shall we?

✨ Gladriel — Not just the FMC. No no, she’s the FMA: Female Main Angel. She leads with her heart, fights like hell for what she believes in, and pays the ultimate price. But the reward? Oh honey, I’m not spoiling that tea. READ. IT.

❤️ Kessian — My wings may be metaphorical, but I’d fly straight into battle for this MMA (Main Male Angel). Loyal, honorable, and heart-wrenchingly good.

🕊️ Dante — Sweet, logical, and oh-so-conflicted. His growth arc deserves a standing tail flick. He quietly became one of my faves and I’m not even mad about it.

This finale? Stimulating. Soul-crushing. Uplifting. Everything.
A celestial mic drop that left this cat in awe.

Don't walk; run to get this refreshing gem ordered! You won't regret it!

Have you ever wondered: "if I'd waited to do something, would the outcome have been better? Easier? Less like a rollercoaster?"

Think about it, when we were younger, times used to be simpler, less stressful, and people were less stressed. We now live in a world that is so secular that unless you have the strongest of wills, materialism, selfishness, and negativity will affect all we can be. Just as in the books, Lucifer has been busy in our actual lives. Now there is an entitlement that people seem to have that surpasses common sense, and that WILL get worse unless we consciously choose the right path, God's.
In this wonderful conclusion of "Morningstar Academy" we see how much Gladriel's choices affect her. Furthermore her own stubbornness to do things her way, and not God's, puts her in situations that quickly spiral out of control. She is truly blessed with friends during her trials that stick with her through the good and the bad. That is so rare! Appreciate your (true) family--blood-related or not--and friends. You'll know which ones they are. They're the ones who have your back, even when you aren't around. The squadron and her fallen friends never stop helping Gladriel. Having an encouraging, Christian support system is paramount, but being qualified to BE the friend people require is just as important.
Gladriel has to learn to love herself the hard way. She's obsessed with vengeance for Astread and impatient. She believes she is more than capable of dishing out said vengeance all on her own. Admit it, there have been more than a few times that we've all wanted to get back at someone for something hurtful they've done!
Reading this book, you'll see God's grace shine through the pages. We also see His allowance for our free will to choose and make necessary mistakes so we learn the most valuable lesson of all: if you trust God, He will make your paths straight. He's already in the future, and if we believe in Him, and ask forgiveness of our sins, we are saved!
Can I get an AMEN!

Well thank you LRW Lee for this series.
I will miss squad 132 and the gang from the Morning Star Academy so much.
I really need everyone to read the first 3 books to get to this finish.
Glad finally understands what it means to love yourself and forgive and to be forgiven. That’s all I can say without giving too much away.
This was an amazing and down to earth (see what I did there) depiction of the book of Revelations. So if you enjoy a good vs evil romp in the world, pick up this now completed series, today:)

What a roller coaster of emotions!! This is a wonderful finale to the Morningstar series. So many amazing things happen. I love that the author based this story on the book of revelations in the Bible. Glad has a wonderful ending in the story and it’s all I could hope for! All the crew are here and vengeance is served! If you’ve read books 1-3, you have to read book 4!

I just finished “Destroyed” by @lrwlee, and it was the fourth and final installment to the Morningstar Academy series! I do not think you’ll understand how much I enjoyed this series! But I will do my best to describe it!

⚔️ Angels vs demons
⚔️ Armageddon
⚔️ YA romance (this means there was romantic elements to the story, but nothing explicit)
⚔️ Self-redemption
⚔️ Self-discovery
⚔️ Adventure

In “Destroyed,” we follow our lead fallen angel, Gladriel, as she rediscovers her own self worth and tries to return to third heaven; to be restored with the Almighty. Along the way, she and her friends encounter trial after trial as they try to save the world from falling into the hands of Lucifer. This novel is a roller coaster of emotions, but every emotion felt is something the reader has (or will) endure at some point in their lives. Gladriel’s story is relatable, and the reader will feel like the author is telling a version of their own story in a way. I enjoyed every part of this series, and if you enjoy a retelling of book of Revelations, with a fantasy twist, then I highly recommend this series. As a Christian, I enjoyed this even more so — such a beautiful representation of a major trial!

If you’re looking for a series to dive into, then you’re in luck! This last installment is set to be released on June 9, 2025!

Are you ready to save the world?

🌟 Special thanks to @lrwlee and her team, for giving me the opportunity to ARC this novel, and to share Glad’s story with the world!

In this charming final installment in the Morningstar Academy series, Gladriel and friends work to save the world from Lucifer’s malfeasance and the devastating prophecy. Glad and the other fallen are striving to make it back into The Almighty’s good graces, while Kessien tries to get back into Glad’s.
While I was initially disappointed by the result of the love triangle between Glad, Kessien, and Dante, it resolved in the only healthy way it could, and I am very content with the outcome. The drama and romance were written wonderfully. I enjoyed the retelling of Revelations – this is a truly artistic and easily digestible perspective.
One of the most significant lessons learned in this book is how to love yourself, “warts and all.” To accept your weaknesses and shortcomings, and to celebrate your accomplishments. Gladriel had to learn to come to terms with her feelings towards herself, which developed very sweetly with the help of her loving friends.
This is a terrific series to read if you are new to fantasy, enjoy clean romance, or are a young reader.

I want to be on His right side! 🙌🏻😭❤️
So, this book was really emotional and intense for me, as my favorite trope ever is Good VS Evil, you know, angles VS the fallen, add the final days, aka, the Apocalypse and I'm crying my heart out! 😭
In addition to all this, add the wonderful characters Linda created, the sweet love story and the amazing, soul touching friendship and I'm a total mess, hurting and crying! 😂
I love, love, love this series so much, I can't describe with worlds how much I enjoyed every book, every minute of this read; I dragged this book for as logn as I could, I didn't want it to end, even tho the final was everything I wished for and more; but it's so sad to say goodbye to Glad, Kessien and all the guys! 🥰🤗
Linda, your final message really reached my soul, I was crying even harder after I read it; thank you for writing this wonderful series and characters, and for the profound message beneath the fiction; this series will stay with me forever! 🙌🏻😍❤️
PS, I was always #TeamKessien ❤️😉

WARTS AND ALL...

*** “Enjoy a taste of your own darkness. And remember us when it becomes torturous.” ***

Oh, boy! The devilish fiends and Forcuses of the world are about to get... DESTROYED!

I have been absolutely thrilled to follow the adventures of angels on the outskirts of heaven, and their journey back to The Almighty's side - all the while skirting danger and destruction. The bad guys aren't just evil, they are Hellishly Eeevil, but in this book, they will get what's coming to them, and the judgement is so fierce, even the angelic elite feel a little sorry for them. A little. But not for long.

I made a choice to love this series to the end... warts and all! It's Biblically Epic from start to finish.

The Morningstar Academy series by L.R.W. Lee presents an intriguing premise and a world ripe with potential. There is a clear vision, and the early books successfully introduce a compelling central character and a core conflict that kept me engaged enough to continue reading.

The writing made for a relatively easy read. However, I occasionally wished for a bit more depth and exploration of the emotions experienced by the characters. The main themes and ideals were not my particular cup of tea, but I am sure there is an audience for it.

Overall, the Morningstar Academy series offers an exciting fantasy adventure. It held my interest and offered moments of genuine enjoyment.

In the finale of this series so much is tied together, laid to rest, and A LOT is forgiven. Glad and her team(s) face so many trials, and she herself is so ready to dish out retribution to anyone at any moment especially for those she cares about who have been hurt or wronged even when it puts her at odds with others. She is true to herself and in the end it all pays off, but this rollercoaster of a series is very well written and such a good read! Had me hooked from start to end.

Book 4 Did NOT Disappoint!

We got an Excellent wrap up of the series with absolutely no short cuts taken.

Although I will miss all the characters and how much growth they have all made, it gives me comfort to know I can always do a reread.

Don’t let the religious aspect of the story push you away from this series, it’s loosely based and it’s a wonderful read.

A wonderful finish to the series. Some parts I did feel were a little rushed and minorly anticlimactic, but when you're creating a story based upon the book of Revelations and anyone who has read the Bible knows what's coming, it's hard to live up to.

Overall was a great series with fun and relatable characters!

L. R. W. Lee absolutely crushed it with this final book! Each character grows so much throughout the series, and where they land in the end is so amazing. The details she includes of the end times will move you so much. I can't wait to have my kiddos read this, so they too can know just how important it is to help others see the truth, before it's too late.

What a fantastic ending to an intense emotional series.
I loved to see how Glad and her friends figured out how to stop the apocalypse/the end times and the self love learning and seeing how things will work out. That revenge and closure and forgiveness is possible. That love of all kinds can work and you are loved and important. You are loved. I cried at some parts of this. Just love the writing. Love this so much.
