“Stop Overthinking It” by Anthoni Moon is exactly as advertised… a pocket guide to stop overthinking things. The author provides real life examples to help support the points in the book. I read the kindle version of this book. Chapter 4 provides practical guidance to recognize triggers for overthinking, to take steps to take control of your thoughts, and provides practical steps to change your mindset, including a brief overview of mindfulness techniques. Since the author is a mindfulness teacher, I think more explanation could have been provided to give more mindfulness examples, and to explain the techniques and how to implement them. I think this was a big miss that could have helped readers trying to open the door to a life free from being a prisoner to their own thoughts.
