FINALLLY HAVOC IS HERE, AND I NEED BOOK 3 SINS RIGHT NOW !! OCTOBER IS TOO FAR AWAY 😭

Jodi is at her VERY best, and she cleverly links every thing togther. From a moment in the past and words that a certain character says that links into why they said it that... no spoilers

P.S. This is hard not to spoiler because everything links and Sins will give the answers we need. Now that we have some rock soild leads, ...NOPE NO SPOILERS

Moving away from the spoliers but on the character's. Once again you cab sense that everyone is a family and that blood does not make a family. Minni that I have known since Devils Reach MC Trilogy. We get to see a whole new wild said of her and I LOVED IT. She will scratch your eyes out if you go after someone she loves just like Tess. Her & Kenna have a wonder "friendship" vow:

“Tits and ass.”
“’Til under the grass.”

And the banter with every character will make you laugh so much and you will understand why this whole group get along so well

Really recommend you read Devils Reach MC and Quiet Mafia Series to understand all the dangerous alpha heroes. Grim is the mix of the both he is part mafia and part of the MC. Now I couldn't decide which I prefer Grim in a cut or tailed suit...😈

Grim & Kenna love is going through a very very tense roller coaster ride and I loved every second on it. They are both rough around the edges but they complete each other. It just their world is getting more complex and the more dirty they dig up...let just say if I were them not even the Devil could protect them from Grim & his family/friends

Now there is a hint of a ex of Grims called Tayla and she has some information to share. You need to read the Dark Water Series and you understand why she has information for the Blackstone friends of Trigger's. Blackstone Series is another series but the special ops men have not been mention in the series soo far.

This is one of the reasons I love Jodi's worlds so much. Everything links together so perfectly, and you want more after the little teases that Jodi throws in. She has a plan that Jodi with her characters, it's all makes sense as the story goes on. And it is exciting that we learn along with the characters at the same time...

Especially now Tayla is involved... I wonder if Paul/ Eric knows of her situation... no spoilers.

Kenna still remains quiet with all her secrecy but when she’s attacked multiple times and being stalked, everything comes to a head. And she reveals most of what she’s been keeping from everything.

Book two starts off right where book one leaves off. The story flows right into the drama. We have so many characters, All are suspicious and it’s a cat and mouse game on who’s really telling the truth to who they are.

“I'm scared, I'm losing control, and right now I need to be stronger than ever with everything that's going on in my life.”

The romance between Grim and Kenna isn’t there yet. It’s very much simple lust right now but with the cliff hanger, it’s definitely going back to enemies to lovers.

I do find it still difficult to remember all these characters. I might be too dense, but I struggled to focus and remember everyone’s names and who they are so it was a bit of a struggle to remain focused on the plot but I’m definitely interested in book three after the ending!

For the 1st time EVER reading, I'm utterly speechless with an absolute WHAT DID I JUST Read, BOOK HANGOVER.....I balled my eyes and clenched my chest with the pain I just read. NEVER EVER have I felt that reading a book.
JL Drake is back with her dark and twisted ways. It's action packed, HAF, with some crazy intense chemistry.

This is Las Vegas businessman and Devil’s Reach MC member Grimson ‘Grim’ Gates, and hostess Kenna Tame-Lodge. HAVOC should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up after the cliff hanger of book one GRIM.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise including graphic violence there WILL BE triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from three first person perspectives (Grim, Kenna, Simon) HAVOC picks up immediately after the events of book one GRIM. Grimson ‘Grim’ Gates is the up and coming king of Las Vegas but any number of crime lords, wanna-bes, and powerful businessmen are taking aim at Grim Gates starting with his on again, off again relationship with our story line heroine but as the vultures begin to circle, Grim’s world will come crashing down, and he aims his grief and pain at the woman that calls to his heart. With vengeance at the forefront of his mind, Grim sets out to destroy those who are quickly destroying the world in which he lives.

The world building is, once again, complex and detailed, with many predators targeting our story line couple. Kenna finds herself caught between the love for a man who is unable to love back, and the knowledge that she may never be ready for what the future unfolds. Kenna has a target on her back, and someone close, may be responsible for her life, and that of Grim Gates’ life that is spiralling out of control.

The relationship between Grim and Kenna is turbulent, emotional and impassioned. Grim doesn’t do love or relationships yet his past keeps threatening the current woman in his life. Grims’ darkness screams danger and death, and in this, Grim takes aim at our story line heroine. For all of her knowledge and ability to ferret out problems, Kenna is often TSTL and in this, she can be frustrating on so many levels. Where Grim is unable to trust, Kenna trusts too easily. The $ex scenes are provocative and intense.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters, many of whom we met in the previous story line. Most are questionable at best, controversial in intent, and not trustworthy from the start. Someone will die; everyone is suspect but there are too many probabilities and possibilities- Grim struggles to believe even those closest.

HAVOC is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, power and control, family and deception. The premise is dark, dramatic and edgy; the romance is intense and impassioned; the characters are determined yet broken. HAVOC ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

This is the second book in the Havoc of Sins series and I urge you to read book one Grim before this because they do follow one another and as book one left on a cliffy.....this one does too!!!

I absolutely loved the first book but this one knocked it out of the park!!! Honestly so so good! So we end up where we left off from book one and that almighty cliffhanger. Grim and Kenna well well well these two 🥵 their chemistry and sex scenes are off the scale hot! My kindle was actually on fire at one point I swear to god my hands were on fire 🔥 lol. There are more questions and I swear too many characters all at once from different book series from the same author so my head had to get around that at times, but it didn't take away from the story at all.

Kenna finally reveals her secrets to everyone after being attacked at the end of the last book, to being stalked everything comes to a boiling point and she has to let everyone in. I did wanna shake Kenna sometimes because of the things she hides I was screaming at my kindle at times lol. Grim.......well don't get me started on him!!!! Jesus Christ!!! That man lol! He's just as infuriating but boy did I enjoy reading him. These two need their heads banging together there is no love there yet between the two the lust is strong with them but you can see where it's heading!! And.......THAT CLIFFHANGER!!!!!! Drake is the queen of the cliffy I can tell you that!! I wanted to throw my kindle at the wall and I seriously need book three now!!!!!

Honestly so so good I urge you to start reading this series because you won't be disappointed!!!

Drake is well known for amazing stories that immediately pull you in and never let go, all the way to the last page. You are left dying for the next book in the series because her writing is just that good! Her characters are always well thought out and developed, and the side characters have a purpose and enhance the storylines.

Havoc is no exception to this! This was one heck of wild ride, just when you think you got it all figured out, Drake throws you a surprise that you could not have seen coming, but it makes such perfect sense! Grim and his family find themselves in a puzzling situation. Who is trying to take down their empire in Las Vegas? Can they even trust those that work for them? Because things are not adding up here. The thing with Grim, do not mess with his family, found or blood. He will stop at nothing to protect those that he loves. They don't call him the Vegas Reaper for nothing. That title was won in blood and bones.
When the enemies of Grim Gates are closing in, people start getting hurt and threatened, Grim does the only thing he can think of. He calls upon his close friends. But this is Grim, they are not ordinary people. Who answers the call? Elio Capri, Italian mafia, and Trigger, president of the Devil's Reach MC. These forces come together to figure out who the enemy is, and take them down with a vengeance. Can they get ahead of the enemy before the next hit is made? Meet Grim Gates a alpha male with plenty of gruesome darkness and swoon worthy moments as Grim Gates is alpha boss of the hotel in Vegas whilst his baby project hotel hits a few setbacks but nothing that can be done. Getting the best deal possible and get the best hotel in Vegas exclusive to the rich that businessman and biker roller into one.

Meet Kenna Lodge (Tame) a independent woman hardworking and loves her job and getting the contracts for the business and also being the beauty and badass is not lost . But also trying to get through life with every turn being taken away she is a survivor and plenty of secrets to be unveiled and plans to execute time is running out.

The first series of this book was the starters in your meal getting to know the characters and now definitely book 2 is the main course the juicy and gory and plenty of action packed with full of turns on a rollercoaster you will be distracted but this course will be juicer, badass, gruesome and mystery when heads begin to roll.
Even though you be delighted that past characters from different series from J L Drake you will love and absolutely loving the series so far. It is gripping edge and full of excitement love this series 5*

Havoc (Havoc of Sins #2) by J.L Drake the story picks up after Kenna has been beaten up at the end of book 1. Now, Grim has to deal with his ever growing feelings for Kenna. He not only has to keep her safe but find out who is trying to sabotage his new hotel. Grim is not sure who is behind all that is going on. Yes, he has his suspicions, but he can't be sure. While he is trying to keep Kenna safe, keeping things on track with his new hotel, and dealing with a outside forces that not only mean him harm but others he loves, Grim takes a loss that sends him into a tale spin. As the on again, off again, friends with benefits continue between Kenna and Grim, the two try to keep their lives on track while their paths still cross, which causes further issues between the two. The tension between Kenna and Grim kept me interested, along with trying to figure out who is behind all the things that are happening to Grim and Kenna. I can't say enough about the interaction between Kenna and Grim. It was oh so good, and I put that on top of trying to figure out who the real bad guy definitely kept me on my toes. 4 stars for me

This is the second book in this series and just Wow. Brilliantly brutal and dark!

When Kenna turns up battered and bruised, Grim sees red and his protective instincts ramp into overdrive.

This carries on from the first book called Grim and Grim and Kenna are certainly in the wars.

Loaded with action, danger and drama, it's a dark and brutal portrayal of MC life but oh so delicious in the telling.

Grim and Kenna build on their attraction as danger ensues, but they never lose their sense of themselves and each other. Their chemistry and connection keeps the story alive and me as the reader so involved in the book.

There is a cliff hanger as there was with the last book but I honestly can't wait for more. Although not a true fan of cliff hangers, this series has me wanting more and this author certainly delivers.

So well written, I enjoy these characters and their exploits, with a true fascination for this world. Can't wait to see what else is in store.

This is the second book in the Havoc of Sin Series. You have to read the first book Grim or you will be lost. This book pick up off the cliffhanger of the first book. Kenna is still being a big secretive girl in this book. However things are about to get crazy for her and then we add a stalker and she is no longer able to hold all of these secrets. There are so many suspicious people in this book and a whole ton of drama going on. This is a game of cat and mouse game at its finest and you have to figure out who is telling the truth and who is lying. Now we can't forget Grim. These two dance around each other so much that I got a little frustrated. They certainly want each other but neither of them is willing to act on it. There are a lot of characters in this book and I really hope that we don't have to remember everything about every one of them or I am in big trouble. It is a lot to keep up with. Now we just need the third book to tie it all together and see how things go.

The second book of the Havoc of Sins Series is not a disappointment. Jumping back into Grim and Kenna's world, head first following all of the insane situations they find them selves in. J.L. Drake has done her magic again. As we follow this section of the story, every emotion I have was well used, I laughed, I cried, and I was angry and so very happy all in one sitting. Grim and Kenna are finally starting to figure out they don't hate each other until danger shows up, then he shoves her away, hoping to keep her safe. Kenna is not sure what she feels for Grim, but she keeps going back for more. There is so much danger and mystery behind every dark corner. it's enough to give you whip lash. It's great to see some of our favorites from past series show up often to help Grim out when he needs it most as he is trying to figure out who he can and can't trust. This book ends in the usual cliffhanger that leaves you barely hanging on by your fingertips.

This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, drama, enemies / lovers, lies, secrets, betrayal, guilt, survival, vengeance, danger, suspense, intrigue, revelations, violence, and undeniable chemistry, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, and thrilling addictive page turner, which ends in a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait to read the next book.
Be aware of the trigger warnings due to the sensitive content!
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Holy freaking crap!! J.L. Drake has done it again, leaving me hanging off a cliff by my fingertips, gasping for breath, holding back my screams. Grim and Kenna are smokin’ hot. I’m surprised the temps from their interactions haven’t burned Vegas to the ground. Their banter lets you know that nothing is off limits, which also applies to where they love. So much angst, pouring fuel on the flames of desire, sparks filling the air wherever they are. Mayhem surrounds them, enemies on every side hunting them down, ready to destroy what they hold dear. But Grim and Kenna are fighters, born to survive whatever gets thrown at them. Or are they?

The ending of Havoc will have you ready to throw your book or e-reader across the room, but don’t do it! You’ll need it for what comes next. I will be sitting on pins and needles, waiting for the conclusion of Grim’s and Kenna’s story.

The second book picks up after the cliffy from book one and ends with another cliffhanger. The book is filled with characters, good and bad who will keep you wondering which side they are on. The is danger, intrigue, chemistry, and a story that will keep you turning down a new path never quite knowing where it will end.

Grim is part MC club biker, Mafia association, family businessman, and draws women but they never stick--will Kenna?

While I read and was amazed at the convoluted plot, loved his amazing Dobermans, and wanted them to find love with each other, I had a hard time with some of the outcomes and another cliffy. The author is good just to keep this plot together. An amazing author and series.

Ummmm taking a minute here to digest what a great book I just devoured!

She's done it again - Grim is back at it - he's slowly starting to melt where Kenna is concerned, but then up go the walls again. He knows he can trust her, but just........ the party in the desert is good, then deadly - there is no down time for this bunch of friends; but they definitely have each others backs. I love the characters from all the books, that are joined together.

They have a really hot explosive steamy - did I say mutually satisfying physical exhaustive 'playtime'. She is falling, can't tell him though, he is denying his feelings - he thinks he's not that type.

Trouble is still around them - death is right in their faces, threats never stop - the stalking has paused, or has it.

The last chapter - geez Jodi - CLIFFHANGER with all capitals yes!!! and I was just starting to give Grim a little slack -

After reading Grim the first book In this absolutely amazing series I thought to myself how can it seriously get any better then this ? Well I’m here to tell you that Havoc truly was and is one of the best books I’ve read this year . Filled with Darkness, intrigue, suspense, twists and turns, secrets , obstacles, heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, love , passion, pain , angst , humor , witty banter and so much more . I really do feel like I was just taken on the ride of my life . From page one I was hooked , devouring every single word to the point I actually lost track of time . There were moments I was speechless, others I was yelling outta pure frustration. I smiled, I laughed, I sobbed like a baby and rooted so freaking hard . J.L Drake never fails to exceed all my expectations and Havoc is the perfect example of just why she’s one of my very favorite authors

The blend of dark billionaire/MC in this series is like the perfect blend & I loved it so much!

The plot THICKENS & I can’t wait because things unravel so much more when It comes to family, & the people who are suppose to be. Grim & Kenna are on a page where almost everything is out on the table to find out what’s been happening in Vegas but then of course more news devastates. I loved how everyone has been banding together to protect them, even Grim’s dogs🥹

I think fighting is just Grim & Kenna’s love language lol which I’m totally not mad at because them making up after is so fun to read🤭

On edddggge for the twists and turns & I can’t wait for more, October where are you?🫣

Havoc starts right where Grim ends, so we don't miss out much. And slowly but surely the mystery of why Kenna has been acting shady is revealed and the secret solidifies her place in the DR. But it is still no guarantee in Grim's personal life. We do get to see them get closer and just when you think they will fortify their relationship, tragedy strikes and throws everything into chaos. Some questions are answered but still more unfolding needs to happen. And in true to form, we are struck with another cliffy that needs to end sooon with the last book's release.

JL Drake had become my auto buy author! Everything she writes is golden and Havoc is no exception. This story grabs hold of you in book one (Grim) and continues the grip all the way through this installment! Everything you think you figured everything out Drake says “hold my beer”!

I’m telling yall!! I’m not a judge fan of books that all intertwine as I tend to get board of the same characters when they go too deep. However, Drake has cracked the code! She has so delicately weaved this world where all the world collide but separate. Where you get snippets of the characters you love without getting board of the same thing over and over.

Salivating and rubbing my hands together until I can put the third book in them and continue this amazing journey!

Once again the Queen of cliffhangers draws you in and just when you think you have it all figured out she throws you that curveball and leaves you hanging. You can't help but love Grim but still hate him kind of at the same time. It comes with all the action packed scenes that we come to expect from Drake along with our favorite steamy hot scenes. She will always leave you guessing on who the villain really is. I will warn you of the tear jerker scenes. be warned. get your tissues but you won't want to miss this part of Grim and Kenna's story. While I'm afraid to know what's in store for these two I can't wait to find out.

Ya know, going into this book I thought I knew where it was heading. I could see it clear as day. Alas, I am a fool. I should have known that Drake would pull a fast one and send me reeling, but I did not realize just how devious she could be. This is just another reason why I keep reading everything she puts out. Grim is a man with powerful enemies who covet what he has, and they are determined to cause as much damage as they can which makes a dangerous situation even more dangerous.

Grim and Kenna take us on an action-packed ride that is filled with secrets, suspense and steam which leaves us needing more of these characters and their story.

Just when you think you've recovered from the last cliffhanger, you jump into more chaos with Grim and Kenna. The way Drake's worlds intertwine is my favorite. There is a lot revealed in this book that makes my jaw drop and question so much! I can't wait for Sins to find out the truth behind Grim's troubles and how his relationship with Kenna goes. Their chemistry is off the charts, but will they make it through? Minnie and Kenna's relationship is the definition of what best friends should be.

The Queen of darkness and cliffhangers has struck again! Havoc is completely gasp-worthy and ruining me for other books. Love the emotional responses this one pulled from me- all the dark that sings to me along with hysterical lighter moments. I adore seeing characters and webbing between beloved prior series. Grim and Kenna work together to find out who keeps coming after them. It seems to be one thing after another. The closer they get the more dangerous it becomes.

That cliffhanger was enough to give me goosebumps. I swear I was on the edge of my seat reading Grim and Kenna's second book. It was smoking hot, full of angst, and had so much suspense.

I can't tell you how much I need the next book to find out the conclusion to their story!

OMG!! This book picks up with the cliffy that ended book one, but it ends on another cliffy (boo, lol). I devoured this book from page one, I could not put it down. Grim and Kenna have this undeniable chemistry, but their banter is what really drew me in. Mayhem surrounds them at every turn and enemies which disguise themselves as friends are ready to tear down what Grim and Kenna are trying to build. Will they survive the lies and deceit?

I don’t know. I feel so let down. There is no relationship between these two. At least there’s no sleeping with other people. What Grim said to her, on purpose, was terrible. I know Trigger did something similar, but it was to protect her. He didn’t mean it. Grim was just being mean, trying to hurt her. WTH! I can’t believe this is the same author. There was one maybe two chapters that were good with them. I love Minnie and Tess. Love all the Trigger.

Where do I start with this one, holy crap J L Drake just wow! 2nd book in this series and what a book. I need Grim in my left! You go through so many different emotions in this one, you cry you laugh and you feel like your part of this book! You get so many answers from the Grim but yet There is one hell of a cliffhanger! Can't wait For the next book

The queen of darkness has done it again and i don’t know if I’m going to recover from this one. Just when you think a series can’t get any better Drake comes in and proves you completely wrong. Havoc completely blew my mind made me cry and rocked my world. I’m not sure anything i read next will live up to my expectations for a while. I’m going to go nurse this book hangover now.

JL Drake has done it again, if you thought Grim was something, then you are in for a treat with Havoc because it is non stop. A definite must read page turner, I could not put down from start to finish. Grim and Kenna will take you through it. The push and pull with these two. The twist, action, and then when JL drops that nugget and leaves you with that cliffhanger, I was done for.
