A cute book about famous people in history written from a chickens prospective. I love how the author talked about events in history while explaining the life of a chicken. Very entertaining read.

A fun premise--looking at moments in history from the perspective of a chicken who was there. Unfortunately, it's not executed with any particular literary skill. There wasn't anything objectionable about it, and I'm hopeful that my kids might enjoy it as a fluffy sort of read.

History told from the view of a chicken
This was a fun and educational book. It would be a fabulous way to teach children of the history of our country. I know everyone, adult or child, will enjoy this book and I look forward to reading the entire series.

A sweet and often humorous little book about a chicken living through and telling different stories about America in and around the Civil War. Very well written.
