Christy Kennedy is an Ulsterman living in leafy Primrose Hill and working in vibrant Camden Town. He loves the art of detection, he's addicted to the puzzle of the crime. Now, while recuperating from an injury, he is working on a missing person case when an acquaintance of his, Harry Ford, is murdered..
Paul Charles was born and raised in Northern Ireland. He now lives and works in Camden Town, where he divides his time between writing novels and short stories and working in the music industry.
Its a change for me to read a crime novel by an Irish writer which is UK based rather than set in US.
I was gripped to the point that I kept looking forward to lifting it - to find out what was happening with these characters (and there were lots of them!) This is not a writer who spends loads of time carefully selecting each word and sentence to use, but it still felt elegant and the calmness and likeabilty of Christy Kennedy the detective worked well. Good plot too.
