Nyx wakes up in a dungeon after being ambushed as soon as she and her men went through the portal into the fae realm. And she’s looking at Aeon, but Aeon was the one who threw her in here, right? How can there be two of them? And what about her men? Are they ok? Did they get hurt or worse killed? One thing she knows for sure is that she need to get out of here one way or another.
This was a good continuation of the first book. It picks right up where the last one left off. There are a lot of twists and turns on this journey. It was good to see Nyx be able to stand up for herself and to try to keep an open mind with all of the changes that kept being thrown her way. This one does end on a cliffhanger like the first one did. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Nyx is Amazing
We started this journey with Nyx being tortured and held in her family's dungeon! Welllll who else is in there besides of course her 5th and final mate!!! They plan the escape of a lifetime all the while saving another victim! The smexy time once reunited with her mates makes it all worthwhile and WE MEET HER BANSHEE!!!! Ravin DeMarco did NOT disappoint in this book even if it left us wanting to throw our devices across the room with the cliffhanger!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Can't wait to see what's in store for the next installment of Nyx's story!!!

It is extremely hard to believe that this is only Ravin's second book. She has outdone herself with this EPIC tale.
I have read this back to back two times and still get the same thrill, and got just as enthralled as the first time I read it.
This is a tale of survival and overcoming adversity, with a strong willed FMC, and her five Fae warrior mates. Look out for an evil twin and an intense battle.
There are so many twists and turns and by the end I was an emotional wreck until I remembered there is a book 3 coming our way.

This is the second book by this amazing baby author. I am loving this series. It is packed with so much action, drama, and suspense. It starts off where the first book leaves off and let me say it is a roller coaster of a ride. Nyx is this amazing, stunning lady who has so much fire in her. She knows how to stay strong when needed and is caring and loving as well. Once starting this book I was unable to put it down. It drew me in right from the beginning. We meet the last mate and boy are there surprises there. This one is spicier than the first and definitely added to the story. We have so much twists and turns throughout this one that they keep you on the edge of your seat. I love how well written and developed the story is. If you didn’t know that Ravin DeMarco was a baby author you would think she has a ton of books already. That has how good her writing is. We get to the end of the book and oh my goodness talk about a mind blowing cliffhanger. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book to see what happens next. A fantastic must read that will not disappoint.

Raven DeMarco what can I say, your second ever book and a continuation of our series of Nyx and her men, just WoW. After the way book 1 ended I couldn’t wait for this book and as always Raven DeMarco did not disappoint at all. Raven DeMarco has such a way of enticing you into her story that she leads you along pulling you into the depths of the pages. She writes with such passion, and the story and characters are well thought out that matches the pace of the story itself. This is not an author who has only written two books – because when you read her work she comes across as a seasoned pro.
Book 1 was our story builder and character introduction and book 2 is the next stage of our story that brings us twists, turns, intrigue and spice. This is book two of the trilogy. It is a PNR Why choose that picks up immediately where book one ended. It does end in a cliffhanger but book three won't be far off! I loved the world and character building in book one. In this one there is so much that happens. Nyx proves just how much of a resilient, tough woman she is. She meets her last mate (eek! I was so excited to see who it was). There is alot of action and the story really sucks you in! The cliffhanger got me but I am anxious for book 3. Ravin may be a new author but wow she's amazing and a favorite!! I look forward to seeing all the amazing future works from her!

SCREAMING FOR MORE
Ravin DeMarco did not disappoint in this follow up to The Raven’s Call. After the ending to Book One, I was eager to jump right in to Book Two and it sucked me in completely. As I embark on this journey with a new author, I am finding I enjoy her style of writing, the story she’s weaving, and the world and characters are developing nicely. Plenty of plot twists and turns but because of the major cliffhanger, I am Banshee screaming for more and have put the author in a time-out in the corner to think about what she has done, naughty author!! Brilliant.

A Bit More Spice
First off I love this story! The world building is excellent and the plot is well paced and full of action. The author promised more spice and there was but it was near the end and super fast. I know not all stories have to have tons of steam but these characters are so steamy I just want more. Hopefully book three has the epic spicy feast that they are capable of. Cannot wait for the conclusion!

This trilogy is epic!
Reading books from a new author, you never know what to expect. I was blown away with how fantastic this series is. The plot, the fated mates, the spice, the happy surprises. It has it all. The fact that more is to come just makes me even happier. I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a shorter but action packed read with multiple mates, and mm. Fantastic work!

That cliffhanger..... no words
Nyx is still as impressive as always. It was awesome seeing her let her Banshee out. After the last book I really wanted to see her fighting and she didn't disappoint. She's as deadly and good as she says she is.
I LOVED WITH EVERYTHING IN ME that Nyx is so powerful that she has 5 mates that are also powerful as h3l1. I loved how the author centered it around her. Talking about mates i love them all. We got introduced to her new mate which i have a really soft spot for. They all so sweet to one another and its undeniable how much they care for each other. I really liked the sweet moments between her and them.
Her motherr ,I'm screaming rn, was everything I was hoping she would be. I knew she wasn't gone..
We definitely got a lot of info in this one about what's happening and who is who and that type of stuff. I would have liked a little bit more personal info on the guys, just cause I feel like I barely know them yet. We got some action and it was 🤌🤌 seeing them all fight and bloody. That last fight scene though happened way too quickly for me. I felt like the entire book was leading up to it and it was gone in the blink of an eye.

First I want to praise the playlist, if fits perfectly in the story!
I loved the 1st of this triology and this one doesn't disapoint a bit, the author knew how to keep the reader in a full engagement adding new elements and characters and things are starting to get spicier!

Fantastic.
This is the second boo in this series and once again I was completely hooked from start to finish. Raven DeMarco does a great job of drawing you into this world and making you feel the character s emotions. There is action and surprising twists and I can't wait for book three.

There is now no denying how invested I am in Nyx's story. This is the second book in the series and picks up right where the previous left off. There are some great revelations and answers but there are still more to come. I am loving the dynamics between Nyx and her guys. I am also loving the detailed writing. I highly recommend!

Oh boy.... Most importantly this book ends with a cliffhanger. Like the cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers. :/ but I enjoyed continuing Nyx's story. Her mates are adorable and the spice was definitely there for Nyx. Lucky her! The Banshee's Chains is a bit darker than The Raven's Call so be sure to check trigger warnings. Happy reading. :)

What an incredible journey this story took me on. I absolutely loved this book Nyx and her men and talk about a plot twist. There were quite a few things that happened that I never saw coming and I am here for it. Beware of the cliffy because I almost broke my phone.

You know when you read a book that has you twisted sideways, tossed up, thrown down and then just absolutely destroyed at the end? This is that book! I am wrecked, in all the best ways. Nyx's journey gets super steamy hot and is just so well written. The characters are so well written and this book moves along pretty quickly. The cliffhanger at the end just has me begging for the next one!

The Banshee's Chains By Ravin DeMarco is book 2 in Return of the Banshee Queen Trilogy. It is a reverse harem paranormal romance book. I am determined the author must have a very complex and creative mind to come up with the story lines she does. Wow for a second book this was amazing. It kept me guessing and intrigued the entire time. The characters are very well fleshed out and you feel like you know them.
Nyx is captured and separated from her mates. The story has so many surprises, questions and some revelations at every turn. There some spice in this book. I do not want to give too much away because you need to read it. It is good.
The worst part is waiting for book 3 this time. I know the wait is worth it.

My Heart Is In Pieces 😭💔
Nyx is back!!! We start right off from where book 1 ended, with Nyx finding herself in quite a pickle 🫣😩 The good news is, she finds her 5th (and final) mate 👏🏻🙌🏻👏🏻🙌🏻 I don’t wanna spoil who he is, so sorry, no names from me 😝The bad news is, he’s in no better shape than she is, and she’s not sure she should trust him, much less bond with him 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ What follows is a journey of pain, determination, & self-discovery for Nyx & her new mate, plus a new ally. Her other 4 mates aren’t just sitting & waiting for Nyx to save herself though lol, they’re also working hard to handle obstacles on the outside. I loved how they all work to integrate Nyx’s new mate into their group, even though it’s hard (for a few different reasons). I also enjoyed getting to know all of them even more in this book. They just get better & better 😍🥵 Too bad making their way back to each other is the easy part 🤦🏻♀️😩 There will be a twist you won’t see coming 🤯, not to mention, we finally get some well deserved spicy times for Nyx & ALL her mates 👀🫣🥵😍🔥 Too bad there are still battles to fight, and more pain on the horizon. Her other 4 mates aren’t just sitting & waiting for Nyx to save herself though lol, they’re also working hard to handle obstacles on the outside. I loved how they all work to integrate Nyx’s new mate into their group, even though it’s hard (for a few different reasons). I also enjoyed getting to know all of them even more in this book. They just get better & better 😍🥵 Too bad making their way back to each other is the easy part 🤦🏻♀️😩 There will be a twist you won’t see coming 🤯, not to mention, we finally get some well deserved spicy times for Nyx & ALL her mates 👀🫣🥵😍🔥 Too bad there are still battles to fight, and more pain on the horizon. Cause let me tell y’all…ughhh, that ending!!!!!! I’m going crazy over here…I neeeeeed the next book NOW! No, no, no, no, NOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭😭 Ravin sure knows how to tear emotions all to pieces, cause mine are alllll over the place right now, but I’m gonna have faith that she’s planning on putting my heart back together in book 3 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 It can’t get here soon enough ❤️❤️❤️

Let me start this review with complimenting author. I haven’t read too many books from any authors that have drawn me in like this series. But I have a MASSIVE love/hate feeling towards Ravin right now! She has written this amazing story and then KILLS me with these cliffhangers! 😂
But seriously, this series is just awe-inspiring! Soooooo good. Book 1 drew me in, Book 2 has dug the hook in WAY deeper and now I am just biting my nails for book 3!
We picked up right where we left off with Nyx and the guys. The story in this book has more drama, gives you more insight into the backstory and drops some new and juicy developments! We get to meet some new people, get some good spice and it takes you right up to that killer cliffhanger. Book 3 can’t come soon enough!
If you are still reading this review…stop! Go get this series RIGHT NOW! It is that good! I promise you won’t regret it!
