Rate this book
A story that's ripped out of the headlines... Beth's sent to cover a terrorist attack in London's Westminster.Within minutes of arriving at the scene, things go horribly wrong. She's abducted and forced at gunpoint to go with the terrorists, and her colleague Fred gets shot in the leg. Did he see what happened to Beth? Is there a mole in Westminster? Was it an inside job? Then someone viciously kills two detectives who Beth is close to—does this have something to do with the terrorist attack? While all this is happening Dev, who works for MI6, is on his way from Paris to help with the attacks in London, but will he get there in time to help Beth and Fred?FALLOUT is Book 6 in the exciting Beth Papadakis crime thriller series and some say the best.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

★★★★★“Good, fast paced read...I have enjoyed all of the Beth Papadakis books. Each book is a standalone story. The plot for this story could have come from today's headlines. It's interesting to see how quickly a terrorist attack can happen and how much chaos follows while Beth tries to follow leads in getting a scoop for her news organization. It makes you realize how much danger reporters are put in when following a story. I think this is my favorite so far."★★★★★ “Thrilling...This is the sixth Beth Papadaki investigative reporter book. They are all suspenseful thrillers and read like actual events. Somehow Beth always manages to get right into the hornet’s nest. There is non stop action and events evolve rapidly. The way the story is written makes the reader feel like he is right there witnessing everything. There are interesting twists and turns and some unexpected surprises. I love the series and look forward for the next installment!"★★★★★ “I highly recommend this book - story & characters, page turner, well written. Love it."★★★★★ “Wow...This is an author who you will be wanting more of her books and staying up through the night to finish them. You'll also be begging for more."★★★★★ "Great series addition. There’s plenty of action and suspense and it kept me entertained from start to finish. The plot is well executed and I really enjoyed reading. This is a very good mystery series."★★★★★ “Exciting terrorist thriller. This is an exciting tale of terrorism, subterfuge, and action that kept me hooked and reading long after I knew I should've been doing something else. Like sleeping. Although I have always felt Dev's character comes across as quite stiff and undeveloped, I must admit to loving the ending of this book! I also like the novel way this book is written in the present tense. This is a definite five-star read."★★★★★ “The life of a crime reporter never seems to be dull.Beth gets the story of a lifetime, but it could also shorten her life. Together with Dev & Fred they need to figure out who is doing all the killing and who could be next on the list. Will Beth survive this attack on people she knew and felt close to? If she does, what's next for Beth and Dev? Will they ever get together? No spoilers here! Enjoy!"

4 men driving into London among them saying they were the catalyst, precision was needed so nothing goes wrong. Beth is taken, Fred was shot, a terrorist attack happening, trying to get help for Beth.
Beth has questions why given this assignment. Even Dev felt like he had betrayed her, having followed her, now demanding what she had taken.
It is fast action, who to trusts, the secrets, and there were still more questions
Good plot and good series.
Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Beth Papdakis is back on the scene in London and she always ends up in the middle of the drama. There is a bombing. This puts her back together with Fred and Dev trying to work out who did this and how to stop them from bombing any more locations. This story, as all of these, has multiple twists and turns. If you like action and intrigue, this is the book for you. I like how everything is always brought together at the end.

Beth Papadakis is involved in another intense story working as a journalist. Instead of just reporting the story, she is again drawn into the midst of it. She and her partner face terrorists this time! The story is fast-paced and action filled. I enjoy reading the Beth Papadakis stories.

I received a free copy in exchange of an honest review.

I received an advance ARC copy from the author for my honest review and I also purchased it from amazon.com. Something I like to do, too support one of my favorite authors.

I really liked 'Fallout', enjoyed the simple approach with a storyline, that's ripped out of the headlines, more intense, easy to read and follow reading wise. Too many times you'll read a book, that too much detail, overloaded with needless words, characters and you keeping flipping back to re-read. So especially like it when you read one, that has a simple storyline, no needless characters or words and nice to read a thriller that tells an engaging story in the simplest way.

Really like Dev, Beth and Fred characters, do think their's more to the storyline in this one or at least I hope so.
