This was a great quick read. I personally don’t gravitate towards submissive men in books but if that’s your jam, Maya and Adam will definitely tickle your fancy! That being said, I still really enjoyed the book. The storyline itself was easy to dive into and I really liked Maya overall as a character. She was the perfect dom to show Adam the ropes and I loved her candy store concept! It was great coming back to Ember and seeing familiar characters. I can’t wait to read Katya’s book next!!

C.A. Krause created a very enjoyable read with this combination of candy, fantasy and BDSM. The main characters, Adam and Maya, are very likeable. Adam being a fantasy book writer is a really good find. I really wish we had something like a club Ember in our vicinity.

I love that her books always have some form of happy ending. Looking forward to the next one.

This book was the sweetest! I love Maya. I found her and her business struggles relatable and relevant. Adam is adorable, and funny, in the cutest way. Their love story made me curl up on my couch with a smile on my face and devour each word. Looking forward to the next book in the series!
