Still scratching my head, I'm trying to think of something to liken this too but nothing comes to mind at this moment... This girl Jess takes naive to a new level and Dylan is most definitely an "artist" type AKA: unstable!!!! On to the next...

***I was given an ARC of Revenge #3 in exchange for an honest review from the author***

Where do I even begin to start with this review? This has honestly been one of my very favorite book series I have ever been given the honor to review early. It is so "edge-of-your-seat" non-stop action that I could hardly put the book down...any of the books in this series for that matter.

As always, this installment picks right back up where we were left hanging with a jaw-dropping confession from Dylan Wolf. Literally. My jaw dropped all the way to the floor with his confession to Jessica. I most certainly hadn't seen that confession coming and neither did Jessica. I really can't go into a lot of detail about what it is, it would spoil the surprise if you haven't had a chance to read the series, but it's a potential deal-killer.

Dylan Wolf is still the master of aloofness and he still is harboring secrets, but you can see that the more he hangs out with Jessica, the more he opens himself up to her. But we are still left wondering who he really is. Who was he really before he came up with a new name? How is Morris Music involved with Susan? Why do they want to know where she is? Why is she gone? Why is still keeping secrets from Jessica? Some of these questions are answered, while some are still left up in the air.

As this installment progresses, you start to see that Dylan's feelings for Jessica run fairly deep, but at the same time, he pushes her away. Why? Why is he so afraid to let her get close to him? He says to Jessica at one point in the book that it's better that she stays away from him. That he will only get her hurt? Why? So many questions are raised in this installment that it makes a reader even more intrigued to get to the next book. I have my theories on what is going on, but I have to keep them to myself because I could be way off base on them. Nor do I really want to reveal all the mysteriousness that sets this series apart from any series I have read in the past.

A new character finally is revealed in this series after several mentions. The mysterious Riley finally arrives to meet Jessica and let me tell you, Jessica is none too happy to see Riley. She knows who Riley is and if she had known that this was who her roommate was, she never would have agreed to live there in the first place. I wasn't expecting to find out who Riley was and how Jessica knows her, I only have a feeling that something is going to happen between these two girls and I'm not entirely sure that it will be anything good.

One thing that I have really come to enjoy with this series is the mystery surrounding all of the characters. Even Jessica, who is the main character and the one that we know the best, has secrets that we aren't entirely privy to. I love how JJ Knight brings about a lot of mystery to each character and makes you think about what their true motives are and why they're doing what they are doing. Nick is definitely a character I haven't entirely figured out yet. He is so elusive and the last conversation between him and Jessica happens at the end of the book, right at the cliffhanger. And I think I am even more confused than I was before.

I strongly recommend that you read this series. It is absolutely one of my favorite series, I have enjoyed the opportunity to be able to read the ARCs thus far and hand in a review on such a brilliant series. I have even added the paperback copies to my own personal library at home. Definitely worth your time to read this series, you will not be disappointed.

I love JJ Knight and once again she delivers a well written intricate romance/mystery.

Once again readers will be thrust into the fast paced lives of Dylan & Jess. The big bad wolf Dylan continues to be an enigma and just when Jess begins to unravel the mysteries surrounding him, he pulls back and leaves her with new unanswered questions. Little Red Ridinghood Jess is now struggling with the return of a half-sister, the continued involvement of voyeur Nick and the unending twists & turn at Morris Music.

Will Dylan ever open up to Jess, will he sign the record deal? Can Jess ignore the chaos in her life and allow herself to fall for Dylan?

This book leaves the reader craving the rest of the puzzle pieces! JJ Knight we can't wait for Revenge 4 & 5! I received Revenge 3 as a ARC in return for a candid review.

Again, once I picked up the book, and I had a hard time putting it down! Read half the book the first night and finished it the next morning! Jess is still trying wrap her head around the shocking news that Dylan told her - "she thought Dylan was making her his girlfriend, not his mistress". Dylan explains more to Jess about his past life, which helps Jess understand more about Dylan and some of the things that took place in the meeting at Morris Records when Dylan stormed out.

Jess gets a call from her roommate Amanda, that she needs to come home right away, that there is a surprise waiting for her at home. Jess is irritated, but yet wants to know what is going on back at home. Before she leaves, she talks to Dylan, and he tells her that he has a "sponsor", not an AA Sponsor, but someone who sponsors him, he also tells her more about Susan, and tells her to promise not to share anything she heard him talking about with his "sponsor". Just as Dylan starts to talk more, Jess remembers the camera's and drags Dylan out of the house so they can continue talking. Dylan leaves for a gig and Jess heads home to find out her roommates surprise.

Jess arrives home to find her other roommate Riley has finally arrived home, and to her horror, Riley is actually her half sister Arielle. She never thought she's see her again, and thought she was dead. Jess still holds a grudge for all the pain Riley caused her family, especially Nan.

Jess is falling deeper for Dylan, and he appears to be feeling the same, although he keeps saying he doesn't want to hurt her, and he's bad for her, yet tells her "I'm going to burn myself into you like a brand. No matter what happens, part of you will always belong to me."

Jess arrives back at Morris records to find her envelope of money waiting for her. She feels bad for accepting it, but tells herself she's doing it to help Nan. Mr. Morris makes an appearance in this Volume and Jess is surprised to meet him. Nick is still a mystery to Jess and she hasn't figured out why he is spying on Dylan, she's beginning to wonder if he is just jealous. Just as Jess and Dylan are becoming close again, Jess receives a call from Nick telling her the plan wasn't for her to fall in love with Dylan and she needs to end things. Jess can't figure out what's going on....Looking forward to finding out more in Volume 4!

Well, JJ Knight has done it once more!

Jessica: the intern who is smitten with a “rock star” and whose judgment has been clouded by her feelings. There are a few problems that come to Jess in this story, Riley being one of them! I did not see that twist coming! The plot is thickening with Dylan, Nick, her roommates, Nan, and her job. What is a gal to do?

Dylan: the “rock star” has some serious baggage as some guys in the music industry do. His strong desire for Jessica, his need to be around her, the need to stay away, his over protecting is what will be the down fall to Dylan. Can Dylan separate his desires from his career? Is he hiding something from Jess darker than what she knows already?

Nick: Nick the co worker is trying to help or hinder Jessica? Are there hidden motives behind what he is telling Jess or are they truly pure? What does he know that is so bad about Dylan? Why has he waited until now to fill Jess in? Is he true friend or is he foe?

JJ Knight, I would like it if you would stop teasing me and answer my questions! Seriously, you have a talent for having a reader on the edge of their seats! That I can appreciate. I am anxious to see how you are going to cover so much in the next 2 books. Thank you for a good read, thank you for a good series, and thank you for allowing me to read your ARC and give a honest opinion of your work. Oh and one more thing…. HURRY with #4!!!!!!!!! :)

Revenge 3

And here we go, with our protagonists having a heart to heart conversation just after a life altering moment for our heroine Jess. Revenge 3 is all about intrigue and how people lives’ unraveled. Jess has fallen in love with Dylan and in her eyes he can't do any wrong. Dylan who is older and more experienced, try his hardest to protect Jess from himself, but at the same time he moves more into her life: having dinner with friends, sending flowers at work, being the proverbial knight slaying dragons but for me I'm expecting for all the pieces to fit and bring the real Dylan alive. We get to see more of Amanda and Riley in the house: we have drama and mojitos, and everybody knows that those 2 go hand in hand. There is even an update from Jess' beloved Nan, that for me, is one of the highlights of this serial because it reminds us from Jess' origins and explains her trusty nature.

At work, Nick continues to be a wildcard because he knows more about Dylan but didn't offer any character clarification and Mr. Morris made an appearance. During Revenge #3, time flies and intrigue is high. J.J. Knight did it again, once you start reading you can't stop and I just want that next installment now!

I received an ARC but these are my most honest thoughts dusted with my impatience for the next part of this saga!

ARC Review

I am still in shock and not sure where JJ Knight is going to take us next. As soon as I am starting to understand where she is wanting to take us on this journey with Jess and Dylan we get more curveballs and wrenches thrown in. Some things seem like they could just be a misdirection and others are just shocking. To say things are taking a turn would be putting it mildly. Once again JJ Knight has delivered another installment I couldn't put down and has again left me wondering where she will take us next. With only 2 more installments left I am on the edge of my seat with excitement and anticipation. Revenge #3 finally introduces us to Riley. I am still not sure if she is going to be a positive in this story or not. Riley is a surprise even I was not expecting. Dylan is acting a bit strange and up and down with his moods. I think maybe Jess is only seeing what she wants to see about something's. There are some strange things happening and I am at a loss for what they are. I am patiently waiting to see where the next installment goes and if we are any closer to unraveling what all is going on. If you have. to read Revenge #1 and Revenge #2 please do before you read 3. You will be lost if they aren't read in order.

I received an ARC from the author for a fair and honest review.

Well I don't have a clue what is going on in this series. This is the third book of five and I am surprised that four new characters, Riley, Mr. Morris, Q and the patron, were introduced at this point. And what role do they play in all this.

I'm starting to dislike their relationship. He's so hot and cold. And she is just so naive. How horrible is it that she doesn't tell him that there are cameras in his place. And why isn't that a huge red flag. And he doesn't really trust her if he thinks she works for Q and it's her job. Why doesn't that bother him. This is just a strange relationship.

Revenge 3 by JJ Knight:
I am really enjoying this series, but JJ you are killing me w/these endings!! LOL. Ms Knight has a knack for ending the story in such a way that you REALLY want the next book right then & there. The story picks up right where book 2 left off. Our hero & heroine Dylan & Jesse grow closer. The mystery surrounding Dylan gets deeper, even as he opens up to Jesse about himself. This story really does pull you in & doesn't let you go until that last page. There is plenty of action, surprises, some danger mixed in w/mystery, & just the right amount of hot romance. If I had 3 thumbs I would give it a 3 thumbs up!!!

JJ Knight has done it again , Jess finds out who Susan is to Dylan and he tells her alittle more about himself. Dylan still is a hugh Mystery to Jess. She is starting to have very emotional feelings for him but will not admit it yet even to herself. Nick, boy oh boy what is he up to and what does he know that he isnt telling Jess. We finally meet her 3rd room mate Riley and come to find out Jess knows her really well. This story thats twists and turns and keeps you on your toes. Of course we are left hang again. Ready for book 4. I would recommend this series. Get your copy.

This series is so much fun to read! I have no idea where the next edition is going, but I want to be along for the ride. I don't know if Dylan is bi-polar or what, but his mood swings are hard to keep up with. Poor Jess seems as gullible as she is clueless but she makes me laugh out loud! NICK, what ARE you up too? Whatever's going on, I'm excited to find out!!!

ARC provided by the Author in exchange for an honest review.

The Revenge serial by JJ Knight has had me hooked from the very first release. It is a serial that is fresh, unique, and has all the elements readers are craving these days. Everyone loves a rock star! JJ Knight gives us a super sexy soon to be rock star that has secrets. His former life is full of mystery and intrigue. Possibly danger.

Revenge Vol. 3 is the middle of the series. Like most books, the middle is the turning point. Questions are starting to get answered, the direction of the book is becoming clear, the good guys and bad guys are starting to show their true colors, and the mystery is unfolding to the point where the readers are able to start predicting the outcome of the characters. This is not the case with Revenge 3!

In the last installment, Dylan dropped a bomb on Jess. The very first page of Revenge Vol. 3 picks up where Vol. 2 left off. Readers do not have to wait to find out where “the bomb” is going to land. One of Dylan’s secrets is exposed. The reader is given enough information to be satisfied with Jess’s reaction and Dylan’s reasoning. But it still leaves an air of mystery.

As Dylan and Jess’s relationship progresses, looking like they are really on their way to being a real couple, new circumstances come to light. New characters enter the scene. We find out who the mystery roommate is. Does this mystery roommate have her own agenda, or is she going to be a genuine person that Jess can rely on? And Jess’s friend & co worker Nick is much more than he appears to be. It makes the reader wonder if Nick is friend or foe. The record company has it’s own persuasions of power that can be harmful to both Dylan and Jess.

Add in the implications that Dylan Wolf has a past that could be dangerous and be a very real threat to Jess.

Through all of this intrigue, one thing is very clear. Jess is falling in love with Dylan. Dylan wants Jess with a desperation but there is something that is holding him back.

I cannot even begin to predict how this story is going to unfold. The directions JJ Knight has taken this story still keep the reader engulfed in questions. She keeps the readers deeply connected with this couple. We want them to have their happily ever after. I can’t wait for the last two installments. I have a feeling the readers are going to get some big surprises! That is what makes this series addicting!

I highly recommend the Revenge series by JJ Knight. She is a new author that is making her entrance in the “book world” with an explosion.

~Arc Review~

So I'm a little late reviewing my arc on Revenge because I've been super busy with school work. So hear it is.

Okay so the end of Revenge2 left me with a freaking cliffhanger. That cliffhanger being Dylan was married. What! Are you kidding me! He's freaking married! WTF!!!! So as you can see I didn't take that news well. This is where Revenge3 comes in. Jess was just about to leave him again, but luckily he explains to her that his wife is dead and that he is a widower. I know this might sound cruel, but I was glad his wife had passed away because Dylan and Jess are just so perfect together. And I also don't like divorces. Thankfully everything got resolved between them because it would of sucked if he was still married and just slept with her; making her a home wreaker. And nobody wants that.

I really enjoyed when Jess got reunited with her half-sister Arielle, who also happened to be Riley her other roommate. How lucky is she. I'll say insanely. I liked how she explain a little more of her childhood and how Arielle was like her mom for a time before she went to live with her mother. It was nice getting to know more about her. This part above all was my favorite in the book. Dylan came over for dinner. So this a big deal, this like the next level in relationships. Dylan got to meet Jess's sister and they all had a blast. He even said that they went to the next to when he met her family. He even went on saying that all of his friends would love her. this making me skittish and all mushy inside. I think I fell in love with Dylan. Yup definitely my new book boyfriend.

Again the ending was a freaking cliffhanger. Jess was on the phone with Nick after *cough cough* something happened between Jess and Dylan. So Nick basically told Jess to not trust Dylan. Okay, what would he know about Dylan, he doesn't even know him. But just when he was going to tell Jess something about Dylan; the alarm rings in the building. And not just that, she heard a damn scream. What? But I want more!!! Gosh I have to wait now. This is making me sad.:(

Loved, Loved everything can't wait for vol. 4&5!!! Dylan<3

Of course things get more and more mysterious and eyebrow raising in this third installment.

After leaving us with a jaw-dropping confession in the previous book, Dylan has an honest conversation with Jess about his admission.

At this point I honestly think Dylan is a tad bi-polar. He's always having such wild mood swings. He wants things to continue with Jess, but he also cares for her too much to actually be with her. He goes on and on about how bad he is for and how hurt she'll get if she stays.
We get a lot more of Dylan's background, but there is still so many questions and information left to figure out.

I like seeing how he's slowly starting to open up to Jess. I think she's definitely making him a more friendly and outgoing person. In turn, he's bringing out her wild side a little bit and just making her more confident.
While the relationship has had some bumps and continues to be rocky, these two are falling deeper and deeper into one another.

We finally meet Jess' other roommate, Riley, in the flesh! I knew there was something more to her and she's definitely going to play a big part in the remainder of the series. As if there wasn't enough drama already, Riley has shown up to add more.

I've said this in my review of book 2 and I'll say it again for this one, Nick is suspicious. There is so much going on that he may have slipped past your radar before, but there's no denying his inclusion in everything now. He knows more than he is letting on and I'm eager for his story to be revealed.

We are also introduced to some more characters aside from Riley. Mr. Morris, the owner of Morris Music, and yet another ominous character, Q, is talked about.

This series continues to have me on the edge of my seat and craving for more. I've no idea where JJ Knight is going with this series, but I'm strapped in and ready to go!
As a fan of cliffhangers, I'm enjoying waiting for the puzzle pieces to lock into place. That's not to say I'm not going crazy until the next book releases.

4.5 out of 5 Stars
When the second book ended it left me wondering, how in the world is Dylan going to talk his way out of this? Well let’s just say book 3 answers this, and it is not the explanation that I had expected at all….
This book gives us a little more insight in to Dylan, but not everything. There are times in the book I think either the characters are bipolar or maybe I am losing my grip with reality.  For instance when Dylan is revealing parts of his past to Jess it makes a very cryptic statement:
“Jess, I figured out that you work for my patron,” he says. “At first, I thought you were following me around for Morris. But now I’ve got you figured out. You are a double agent. You work for Q.”
We finally get to meet the third mysterious roommate and that is just another OMG moment from this author. There are so many twists and turns in this book; it reminds me of watching a train wreck: you know you should turn away but you can’t because you have to know what will happen next.
I can’t believe we are already half way through this series of books. There are so many ways this story could spin and still so many things that could happen; there is just no way to predict what might happen next. I can’t wait to see where J. J. Knight takes us next. Will Dylan and Jess continue to learn more about each other and expand their relationship; will Jess continue to live with her roommates, what is going to happen with Jess’s job, is Dylan going to get a music deal, what is Nick up to, and what is in store for Jess’s grandma? These are just a few of the many questions running through my head. I am glad the wait isn’t too long for the next volume….
This book series is AMAZING!!!!

Thanks to the author, I was allowed to read an ARC of this book for an honest review. This book picked up at the cliffhanger that #2 left us with. This installment also ends in a cliffhanger and as a reminder is part #3 of a five part series. As in my previous reviews on #1 & #2, if you just can’t handle cliffhangers, you may want to wait just a few weeks and get all five parts at one time.

This book jumps right back to the cliffhanger that left our mouths open. We get the answers we needed on that issue. As this one progresses, we learn a little more about Dylan Wolf. Even though we are learning more about him in each book, he still remains quite the mystery man. Jess finds a family member in this book and faces an aggressive attack. Dylan and Jess grow even closer and Jess realizes that she is developing deep feelings for Dylan. Dylan obviously enjoys being with Jess but continues to fight his own demons of thinking she would be better without him. As Jess pushes to keep the relationship moving, Nick from work begins to try to intervene and stop the relationship. Now we wait for Book #4 to tell us more about Nick’s issues with Dylan.

I have really enjoyed these short book installments of this series. It is an interesting story with lots of twists and turns. The wait begins for Book #4! I can’t wait to see where JJ Knight takes the story next. Five stars for this whole series!

Got an ARC for an honest review. This picks up right where the other book left off. I'm so glad Dylan talked to Jess and cleared up the little bomb he dropped on her in the last book. He cleared that up but there's still so much more mystery to him. It's like he just lets her know things on a need to know basis.

Jess is in love with Dylan and she trust him too quickly. At this point they've known each other for a little while but she's in so deep that he can break her heart in the worst way possible. She even finds herself in danger when she's out with him. But it's like he's shocked or something by the person that attacks Jess. It's like he knows the person or something. But it's not like Jess doesn't have a few secrets of her own. Dylan has some major secrets about another woman, changing his name legally and about the gigs he plays.

Dylan doesn't trust Jess but still he wants her.

Jessica's sister turns out to be her roommate and there are problems there. There are things she doesn't want Dylan to know about her and her family because she's afraid he might not want her anymore.

Glad we got to see some of Nick in this one also. I'm trying to figure him out also. Seems like everyone has something they're hiding. I can't wait for the next book to see if we get some answers from all of these mysterious characters.

The chemistry between Jess and Dylan is still sizzling. I highly recommend this series. Can't wait for the next installment.

Okay, now that I've been able to read the entire 5 "volumes", I still think this could have been broken into two books, maybe three. Five is a little much, and these are not "volumes". They are barely novellas by themselves. Regardless, I ended up liking these as a whole.

Revenge, Volume 3

Between Dylan and his mood swings and the naive Jess, you can't help but continue reading this volume to see what kind of a train wreck this book is. Throw Riley into the picture for Jess and her life unravels a little more... And as for Nick... just what is Nick up to where Jess and Dylan are concerned?

Revenge, Volume 4

Dylan's smitten, Q's true identity is out, and Jess is beginning to put pieces together between Q, Dylan, Morris Music, Nick and Nick's mother. I finally enjoyed this "novella" more than the first three "novellas".

Revenge, Volume 5

So I finally get to enjoying this little series and bam... no explosive conclusion. I feel let down despite actually ending up enjoying the story of Jess and Dylan.

If you decide to read Revenge, you must read them in order. Each "novella" is a short, quick read in which you could read them in the course of a weekend or over a few weeknights after work.

All in all, I must admit that I'm looking forward to more from J.J. Knight, but the next title is also a series so I will wait to have the entire series before I read them.

Hold on to your virgin panties, ladies, this is not just another romance! Don't get me wrong, there is romance right down to the flowers, sexy phone calls, and late night window wake-ups. But this book is so much more! This is a fast-paced, plot twisting, toe curling, heart pounding joy ride! I love it! This was the best book of the series so far. We get to know more about Dylan's and Jess' past in this book. I've fallen even more in love with these characters. Amanda, and her no-filter conversation, is back in this book too. What I love the most, and what keeps me hooked like crack, is that there is still so much more I don't know but can't wait to find out!
I've decided on 5 stars for this book. It is not longer, which was my previous reason for 4 stars, but it is my favorite so far. I've also grown to appreciate the short length of these books. It allows for a fast paced, easy read, and the cliffhanger endings keep me wanting more. I also appreciate the J.J. doesn't keep us waiting too long between books.
Thank you, J.J., for the ARC. It made my day to see that waiting in my inbox this morning. You keep us guessing at what might be around the next corner! Don't make us wait too long, and give us more slutty roommate! Thank you!!

I was so glad that we found out about Dylan's wife right away in this book. We find out a bit more about Dylan's past and I I sure didn't expect it to be like it that. It's much better than I imagined which is why J.J. Knight is the writer

and I am the reader. Jess has strong feelings for Dylan but Dylan thinks she would be better off if she stayed away from him. Their relationship is strange in that Dylan thinks Jess is only with him because Morris Music paid her to be there and Jess doesn't focus on that but keeps secrets of her own like that there are cameras in Dylan's place.

I am finding it hard to like Dylan but I did feel sorry for him. He has had a rough past. Even though Jess is very innocent she has a kind heart and seems to be the type of person Dylan needs to show him that he is not worthless.

Nick is starting to play a more important role in the story. I wonder if Jess should trust him and what he really knows about Dylan?

It is a wonderful story with so many twists and turns. I read this book in one sitting and couldn't put it down. I can't imagine how this story is going to end and can't wait for Part 4.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I love JJ Knight and I'm in love with Revenge. I'm hooked on this story and I love the serial romance because it leaves you wanting more and anticipating it's release. You get just enough time to miss Jess and Dylan and then you have a new installment! This one picks up exactly where #2 left off. We get to learn a little more about Dylan and his past. We also learn more about Jess and her past. Dylan is under the impression that Jess is working for someone else and he really needs to stay away from her but he just can't. He still shows up at her window and dinner. He saves her and things get touchy for a while. I can't wait for more. This story is unfolding in a way I didn't expect!!

I reach over for that inch-wide sliver of skin and run my finger along it. He doesn't move. I nudge the fabric up, baring him to the bottom of his rib cage....I trace the center line of his abdomen with my hand, my other hand resting on his side. His skin is hot and welcoming. I slip my hands up under his shirt, bringing one palm up along his chest and the other up his back.
"Mmm," he moans.
"Are you awake?" I whisper.
"No." His eyes are still closed, but he's smiling. "I'm still sleeping. Take my shirt off."

Now I am totally clueless on what is going on. Nick is making comments that falling for Dylan was not part of the plan but what do you expect when a "V" country bumpkin is being woo'ed and that de "v" 'ed by Dylan. Of course she is going to fall for him.

The plot thickens with more space out's by Dylan, vague information yet subtle warnings from Nick, the arrival of the music company's owner, secret meetings with the old couple that Dylan supposedly didn't know and the list goes on. I really have to say I am loving the mystery's of the series. Some things I can predict, others have me in 2 directions like why would a smart man do business with a mysterious agent only known through email yet hmmmmm isn't how Jesse got her job. Who is the new mystery guy at the cafeteria, the bank robbery comment that Dylan freaked on still resonates in my mind and then the ending. Although I think that was a way to get Jesse out, before someone arrives. Just a thought.... How will the author ever sum things up in 2 more short books and I already feel the disappointment coming when the series is over. But I'm liking it. Keeping me guessing is fun and lucky for me book 4 comes out next week, but waiting for the finally will be a killer.

I want to like Jess, I really do. I've read so many books with heroine as a V. But Jess irritate me somehow. First of all, she's a freaking country girl who claims she done worst and she's a Tomboy. What kind of tomboy country girl is she that she's afraid of a freaking spider or insects? Like seriously? I also feels like she's very selfish. Everything is about her. Yes the author try to make her as a loving and caring person but I don't see that. All I see is Her doing things for her. I am beginning to like her roommate but Jess is still a judgmental bitch. I am beginning to think that her half sister is not even as bad as she portray her to be. She doesn't even care the warning Nick told her because she's too focus on being blind and not seeing anything else but Dylan. She doesn't even notice the warning signs from Dylan. She's a freaking V. And stating that she will not sell her body for money yet that's what she did. As for the camera. Like seriously? If you love someone you would have done something about it. The more I've read the worst my opinion gets with Jess. As for Dylan, is he stable? It's like he's two people. Should I continue reading book 4 or should I just skip to the end?

In this third installment of "Revenge", we get the answers to one or two questions (if Dylan was being honest) and also several more questions to be answered. I'm starting to think that Jess might be too naive for her own good, though. Dylan has told her that he thinks she's working for the mysterious "Q", and after he tells her about his late wife, he goes on to tell her to make sure that's the story that gets back to the record company. At that point, I would have thought, okay this is the public story, but I still don't know the truth. She buys into it completely. I really hope she wises up a lot in the last two parts of Revenge. Then there's Nick, who I suspect might be Q, but I'm not sure about that. I just think it's really odd that he encourages the relationship one day, and then warns her against it the next. Apparently, it wasn't supposed to be real, and Jess falling for Dylan wasn't part of Nick's plans. So, yes, there are still many mysteries to be solved and I can't wait to get the real story. So far, this has been a truly well written and engaging story. I'm very anxious to see how it ends.

I swear these cliffhangers are going to kill me.

Nick (Jess’s coworker) knows a lot more that what he is telling. Do not know what that is, but he is acting very funny in this volume. Almost wondering if Nick does not have something to do with Q (Dylan’s music sponsor) and is working as Q to get Dylan to sign with Morris Music…

Jess and Dylan’s relationship continues to progress, even though they both have many secrets that they are not sharing. Dylan did share that his wife passed away from a car accident two years ago, but so far that is the only thing shared.

I also feel somewhat suspicious of Jess’s roommate, Riley. Jess finds out that Riley is actually her half-sister that she hasn’t heard from in a long time. It just seems weird that she disappeared for a long period of time when Jess moved in.

WARNING: this book does end with a cliffhanger.

NOTE FROM AUTHOR: This is part 3 in a 5-book series. In order for the series to make sense, it must be read in order. Each book is 25,000 words or about 110 book pages. The entire series will be release by the end of March 2014.
