Greg is straight, but makes easy money offering his services to gay men online. He's inexpensive but has a few ground never reveal his real name, never invite a client home, and never, ever, ever agree to more than three appointments with anyone. Ever.
RC is handsome, loaded, and lives in a big house in a swanky neighborhood. Greg doesn't understand why such a guy needs to pay for companionship, but RC’s been burned by men who are interested in only his money, and paying someone takes off the pressure of maintaining a relationship.
Their first appointment goes well, and they schedule another. But Greg is surprised when RC calls him a few days later just to hang out. Greg doesn’t pal around with his clients; it’s strictly business. But there’s something about the guy that makes him say yes.
At dinner, RC introduces himself as Ryan, and Greg breaks his own rule and shares his real name, too. By the end of the evening, the lines between client and friend have begun to blur. Does this count as their second appointment even if they don’t have sex?
By the time they meet up again, Greg is half in love with Ryan. Will this next appointment be their last, or will Greg embrace something he didn’t even know he was looking for?

"Straight white guy, disease-free, looking for donations from gay men interested in hooking up. Seven inches hard, circumcised, nice ass. See photos. Suck me for $50. I suck you for $100. No ass-play. No BDSM. No weird shit. Full nudity OK."
See straight rent boy "Mike" (Greg's) craigslist ad above. Any takers?
Straight, broke college graduate Greg has a nice little business going on in Richmond. He lets gay men (usually closeted) use him to get off and gets paid. And it's worked so far until latest client, RC.
RC is rich, stunningly beautiful (but doesn't notice it and is not an asshole) and overall a nice guy. And seductive as hell which I'll get to. With all those things going for him, why would RC need to pay for sex? Unfortunately, men find him unapproachable. But Greg can't help but fall under RC's spell. He forgets his rules and let's this guy slip under his skin.
This story is very short but the tension between Ryan(RC) and Greg is palpable. And for everything but penetrative sex (frottage and rimming FTW!), this book was scorching. Not just sex, a decent plot and enjoyable main characters.
BUT
The ending. Sweet Cheesus, could you be anymore rushed? It's HFN, I guess? I wanted three more sentences! Just three, maybe a paragraph would have put me into supernova.
I want more of Ryan and Greg! It's a little cinderfella-ish and it gives crumbs of what could be the future but I wanted the damn cake, not crumbs. Now I'm frustrated.
Yet still smiling.
So I'll rate 3.75 stars and draw my own conclusion from the ending because this still was a great little nugget.
Well, that was kind of awesome. Loved the premise and loved the two guys together. Ryan is so charming and sweet and I was so glad Greg let himself be wooed. That was some damn fine wooing.
It was a very optimistic HFN at the end, there's a lot of logistics to work out for an HEA and I would love to read more about these two. In my head they got one though. They are too good not to.
I needed something Audible, not Christmasy or about holidays for a day of *shudder* shopping. I just grabbed this because I’ve had great success with J.M Snyder in the past. I feel Snyder is really very skillful when it comes to packing a big punch in a short story. As always I’m satisfied but of course I’m annoyed at the fleeting length. I’m placated by this cheeky, captivating story.
A straight guy who sells blow jobs for cash but states no ass play or sex.
A super rich guy RC aka Ryan who is gay but likes straight guys to ensure "dates dont get attached".
They share a bj and then RC wants to "hang out as friends".
Suddenly straighty isn't so straight after all and things get 🔥🔥🔥. They spend more time together and as the saying goes they lived HEA.
For the record this wasn't one of those unbelievable stories where they turn a straight guy. It is very obvs that this guy was in big time denial. It's a very short believable cute story. Now if only it were longer that would be great. Definitely worth a listen.
Greg the prostitute is not really straight, this is not a g4u story, but I shelved it as it is because he has inner turmoils regarding his attraction to his hot customer Ryan. I think Ryan was sweet and had an amazing chemistry with Greg (in spite of this being so short) and I am glad that he pays all Greg's weeks in advance so he won't have any more customers.. ever. Anyway, I am also glad that Greg's job was only hj and bj; on the other hand, I am frustrated because I won't read Greg losing his butt virginity ^_^
But I'm not...Blurring the Lines is a quaint short story that brings into question the need for labels. Connections are so much more than a label. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and how I would love to have such an adventure towards a HEA. Writing was great, as was the narration by Klaus von Hohenloe.
What a neat story! It was hot and interesting with some surprisingly good feels. I really enjoy the short story format as it can provide all the good things of a longer book in a smaller structure. It can also avoid the pitfalls of a longer book that might drag on. For having no penetration sex, the intimacy was erotic and well written. I liked the MCs and their chemistry.
quick and cute, but way too short and too insta-lovey... would have enjoyed a full novel about these two a lot more. Liked the writing style though, and would read the author again.
I am so in love with this book. Gay for pay is one thing, gay for HIM, now ur talking. I want more of Hesse characters, even if it's a short just to see what happens.
I really liked this i would love to read more about Greg and Ryan. I would love it if the author turns this in a full length novel, i would buy the book!
I was enjoying this bisexual/gay discovery story of a 'gay for pay' sex worker. And then it just stopped, with the last words spoken that the rich guy would pay forever to avoid him from sleeping with others. I needed a denial, a promise that if it was love Greg wouldn't want to be paid for and would find a job or an extra scene that showed this didn't work and that Greg went out and applied for a job. *sigh* should've been 4 stars.
