AK Caggiano has an incredible ability to make you fall in love with her characters, even if you’ve only known them for a few pages. Timber is adorably gruff and Clare is adorably adorable. I am particularly fond of the way Caggiano weaves magic into reality, and this short is so packed full of whimsy that I was smiling and giggling on every page.

And now I need to go adopt a cat… 🐈

Absolutely loved it! 🍬🧚

The realest fantasy is having a tooth fairy come and magically repair your wounds after a wisdom teeth pull.

Izzy for MVP of the novelette. Always love when cats mix with fae!

10/10! Outstanding! Tooth Fairy Romance is most certainly now my jam!

What a frigging delightful little tale!

Quick (only 80 pages), to the point, magical and even a little adventure to boot!

Characters are a delight and done well with limited space!

Definitely not the usual deliciously slow burn we've come to expect from Caggiano, but daaaaaang girl, she's on to something here!!

Easy 5 ⭐️. An extremely short, but definitely lovingly-crafted adult read. I’m a v big fan of the author, but still find myself surprised (positively) by where she takes us at every turn. What I’m most endeared by with every work of AK’s is her unwavering ability to open a reader’s mind to every perspective possible.

A quick fluffy spicy story surrounding a fairy (M) and a human (F). There is also a cat which is always a bonus!

This was a free short story which I received after subscribing to A.K. Caggiano's newsletter. If you have read any of her books, then you will notice that this is not a slow burn but it is expected from such a short story. I think it is worth your time reading it.

Never going to think about the tooth fairy the same again, that's a fact. For such a short book it had a bit too much plot. Should have just been a funny story of them searching her room for the teeth. As always, that's just a personal opinion so feel free to ignore me.

Sweet Tooth, by A. K. Caggiano

In the night, Bone Collector Timber lurks, waiting for the perfect time to snag his bounty. Unfortunately for him, Claire’s anesthesia fog is making finding the wisdom teeth, er, *bounty* tricky. Adorable antics ensue!

This novelette was the sweetest little tease of writing from the incredible A. K. Caggiano. But here is part of the reason I love her work so much. It takes no time at all to fall into the world, the characters, the scene because she makes sure the reader is in on the joke. For instance, having an MMC who portrays himself as this renegade that we quickly identify as the tooth fairy. Perfect. The creative way to spell words for that the world of fairies and our world is bridged. Yes, please. An FMC who is a bit of a mess, in her post surgical state? RELATABLE! There just isn’t any pretense when she writes, and it’s clear we are all here for good time! This is an excellent quick read, perfect for a day of travel!

⭐️ 5/5 If you need a break from epics, but still need that fantasy feeling, download this today!
