We've always known that cartoonists are a little odd -- wait until you see what they think about when they think about sex! XXXburger was compiled by the editors of Stripburger, the acclaimed international comix magazine. Here they've gathered together dozens of cartoonists from all over Europe and Noah America to do stories about everybody's favorite subject -- sex. The styles range from the cute and charming to the sensual and erotic, from the humorous and satirical to the bizarre and extreme. A good mixture of male and female cartoonists give the stories diversity that is rare in erotic comics. If there were ever proof that comics are not for kids anymore, XXXburger is it! XXXburger's comics are funny, dirty, sexy, and lovely -- all wrapped up into one huge package!

It's the effort of the compilation that counts when dealing with an anthology of 49ish creators sharing 155 pages and four covers (inner foldouts too). Within are more countries than anything this obsessively internationalistic reader has ever seen!

Any sex anthology without a shared theme is going to be many brands of bizarre because all our versions of normal sex, especially around the world, differ greatly but even if that weren't the case- the creators want to stand out.

What annoys me is when they try too hard for shock value and it's obvious that they seek attention over quality in invention and that is RAMPANT throughout. It's not as gross as I thought it would be but this book is NOT for most readers- both of which I appreciate.

The range of sexual deviation is wide and the art differential is staggering. There are many different styles of illustration and sketchy drawing but MOST are sloppy and few impressive.

Isn't ISBN the INTERNATIONAL.S.___.Book.Number? Because this has TWO DIFFERENT- one for the United parent and another for it's child. So I chose the U.K. Slabo Concrete (I can't stop saying "Sa-lab-Ooo" like a numb-nut!) number which shares the back with the U.S.- each having their own barcode as well!
