For me, this was a one or two star book. Nothing new to learn, given that I was raised by frugal parents who are wise with investing, giving, and spending. They taught us early on about saving and handling money thoughtfully (and from a Scriptural perspective).
That said, for anyone who has not been given the financial and Scriptural tools I was, this book and the accompanying videos could be very useful/practical. There are worksheets (practical), Scriptural reflections (reflective and practical), and discussion questions that could facilitate good conversations. Not all of the questions were helpful or to the point, but if you're discussing them with a group (as I was) you can pick and choose which ones were most thought-provoking/beneficial and discuss those.
Aside from the group conversations/interactions I had with this course, the most beneficial thing was the large sections of Scripture in the last section of each chapter to read and ruminate on.
