Absolutely loved Alex and Sebastian’s story!!
I devoured this book so quickly and loved every moment of it
The spice is definitely nice in this story 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️

4.5 ⭐️ I binge read this book!!! I couldn’t stop reading it. I loved the chemistry between Alex and Sebastian. The prologue was enough to leave your speechless and hooked!!

I hate how closed off he was towards Alex!! He knew what he felt, I wish he would’ve come to his senses a bit sooner but it was such a great read over all!! The spicy scenes were so gooood!!! His possessiveness over her and how he took such great care of her after her fall!

I can’t wait to get my hands on Savannah & Noah’s book!!! I Can just imagine the sexual tension and chemistry those two will have after so many years!!

Book 2 in the breaking the rules i have been waiting for Sebastian book since Megan and cooper book and I can say it is fabulous read.

Sebastian and Alex meet in Sebastian club on a night with Megan there hook up and the chemistry between them is off the chart we jump 2 years and Both are struggling to get each other out of there thoughts.

KA James has written Sebastian and Alex characters so well you are infested in the the outcome of this relationship.

Sebastian is a hottie but he is guarded we get to fine out why and Alex’s past comes out too so you get to know these too so well.

For me i love it but i new I would after reading there charters in book 1

This book starts off oh so spicy! Our first introduction to both characters is definitely a memorable one!

Alex and Seb are similar, yet different. Where Seb doesn't mind the casual hook up, Alex is a little different in that whilse she's casually hooking up, she is only doing it with the one person.

Alex and Seb have mutual friends and often cross paths, which, after their raunchy encounters, is hard for Alex, because there's something about Seb she can't say no to. She knows he can never give her what she wants but she can't help the feelings she has.
Seb doesn't do feelings, doesn't know anything about a serious relationship, but he can't stop thinking about Alex.

When they end up in a fake engagement because of Sebastian's business dealings, things only heat up. Both characters were written really well. Alex was a strong, independent woman and Seb is a charismatic billionaire playboy that starts catching feelings. The chemistry between these two lit up the pages like fireworks! These two just couldn't keep their hands off one another. I enjoyed getting to know both characters and we really got down to why Sebastian was the way he was. I very much like how Seb grew as a character through the book, we got to see him start to understand feelings and changing his outlook on things. The author does well with descriptions, and the writing flowed easily.

Finding out what we did about Sebastian's past and then the little twist as well was really well done.

This book had me blushing at times and it gave me all the feels. I enjoyed this very much and I'm am really looking forward to the next couple! Thank you!

It's one of those books that you don't want to put down. I only put it down because I HAD to sleep, and picked it back up as soon as I woke up. I loved their story and growth. My favorite moments were when Alex stood up to Sebastian (or Bastian as she calls him- so cute). It was obviously, inevitable that they were going to end up together. I think Sebastian knew it deep down but didn't want to admit it (I mean he didn't want her taking off the fake engagement ring). I loved the little twist in Sebastian's revenge plot. I had an idea of what it was and was somewhat right on why he was doing it. That being said, I really loved it. I loved the tenderness that Sebastian had towards Alex, even though he tried to fight it at times. I love his possessiveness. I loved him taking care of her. I loved their love story and hope to see more of them in the future books in this series.

This book is an enemies to lovers, billionaire, fake fiancé romance. I’ve enjoyed the fake dating trope in the past and this was my first book with a billionaire dropped into the mix.

Alexandra (Alex) meets Sebastian one night when she’s out partying at a club with one of her friends. When in search of her friend, she inadvertently walks into Sebastian’s office, and it was insta-lust. They hook up that night in Sebastian’s office, both thinking it’s a one-night stand. However, a few years later neither of them has been able to get the other out of their system.

I enjoyed Sebastian’s possessiveness towards Alex which led to some steamy AF moments between the two. He was a lesson in contradictions because he was adamant that he didn’t do relationships and wouldn’t fall in love due to his less than stellar childhood, but his actions spoke louder than words. His denial of his feelings made the angst ever present.

Alex has a strong personality overall except when it comes to Sebastian. Despite his continual pulling away, Alex cannot stay away from him. She puts up a strong front to not be pulled in by him, but then gives in to him at a mere touch. I would’ve liked for her to be truer to her convictions and make Sebastian grovel a bit more, make him work for it.

I loved their banter and their chemistry which was off the charts.

This is the second book within a series called “Breaking The Rules”. Wow with a series with that name, you just know there are going to be some plot twists within the novels! Please read the TWs in the beginning of the book! There is also a playlist at the beginning of the book. My oh my, I loved the first book of this series, but this one blew me away! Alex and Sebastian are our MCs within this book. As the author describes, there are some turbulence along the journey with our MCs. As can be said for everyone. This book is a contemporary romance, and the tropes are contemporary romance, enemies to lovers (oo la la), fake dating, fake engagement, forced proximity, protective alpha (it’s getting hot in here), and billionaire. Alex and Sebastian’s story was a whirlwind but in the end it’s such a lovey dovey romance. The banter and tension between them was intense and insane. The way they are there for each other when they need someone was adorable.

Wow, my first by this author and I fell in love with the characters and their story. Excellent writing skills as it captured my attention right up until the end.
This was Enemies To Lovers, Fake Relationship and Close Proximity.
Alex is a wonderful lady that wants forever and Sebastian loves bed hopping rather than have relationships.
They both meet at his club via mutual friends. They have instant attraction which is so hot you can feel it through the pages.
So they go their own way after and always managing to bump into each other during events.
They just can't forget the other or keep hands off when they do meet.
Then when she was working for him, Sebastian blurted out they were engage to secure him the deal.
Now they are fake dating but the feelings are so strong they break the rules.
Can they come out with heart in tact?
What is that secret that can destroy their relationship?.

Alex's and Sebastian's story blew my expectations out of the water. Not a huge fan of the traditional enemies-to-lovers, KA James got me enthralled right from the prologue and I stayed up late into the night to finish it. Spice before we even know their names? SIGN ME UP.

What I enjoyed is how I was able to connect with the emotions that the FMC was going through, throughout the whole story. While some scenes were definitely some enjoyable book-tok level yummy, overall, it was relatable. And in a lot of the over the top, shock value content, that can be hard to come by.

Don’t Fall in Love is a billionaire, fake dating/engaged romance.
Alex and Sebastian have been hooking up a few times over the last three years. Now, he needs his best friend, Cooper, to help him purchase a building for a new club. Since Alex is working for Cooper, who better to help him than her. And when they meet up with the owner of the building, he just announces that she is his fiancée. Talking about surprises, cause Sebastian isn’t one to settle down and Alex is looking for someone to share a future with.
Even though I love Sebastian, sometimes I just wanted to kick his… Being so stubborn for denying what is right in front of him, but other times acting like a real caveman just so everybody knows she belongs to him. And he does all those small things that prove to me that he does have feelings for her, and that he can be what Alex needs, but he is just scared to let anyone in.
Each and every time he hurst Alex, I couldn’t help but wanting to comfort her and be the one to hunt him down.

Oh my lawd!! This book is a masterpiece, complete hats off to the author!

Sebastian and Alex’s story starts as two people who have unbelievable chemistry and are absolutely fire when together. Regardless of their attraction, they always agree they are, and never will be, nothing more than random hookups. That is until Sebastian needs a fake fiancée. When lines start to get blurred and feelings start to get real, can they lean into it or will they turn away and run?

The character development in this book was fantastic! Alex is such a B.A. in her own right and Sebastian became the most possessive alphahole, I could not get enough of their story.

My first read and what better way to be introduced to an new author with a story starting with THE hottest prologue!!! The steamiest scene that instantly had me hooked!

Alex annoyed me sometimes how easily she gave in then just bluntly left but i understood where she was coming from, it was the hold she felt he had over her. but then who’s going to turn down spicy possessive Bastian!

as these two unite as fake relationship it’s hard to draw the line because their passion and chemistry is undeniable and explosive!

Can she accept what he’s offering and it be enough or having ‘more’ means more,
Bastian is stand offish, reserved and something is fearing him from commitment but his feelings might just overcome him !

I really loved Sebastian and Alex’s story. It was one of those books I had to read in one sitting and couldn’t put down. From the very first page it’s hot, spicy and we get a real feel for Sebastian and Alex’s character without any of the fluff or fakeness. KA James did an amazing job with making sure both characters personalities showed and stayed real throughout the entire book.
What I loved more was Sebastian’s way of subtly falling Alex and the fact that he was so clueless to it even in his possessive way of how he acted.
Alex was an absolute dream with her banter and fiestyness and I loved how real she was in her feelings.
This was was great, it was perfect, and put you right in your feels.

It was better than the first book, but stil - it wasn’t good.

Again, we had lust being the only plot and there was nothing to make us believe in love that the author tried to cover it with.

The whole issue between them is the guy not believing he’s capable and worthy of love. Why? We never find out.

We don’t actually know much about those characters, aside from the fact they have a healthy libido and like to drink. A lot.

Hence, not a romance book, but a relatively entertaining script of a porn movie. Which is a shame, because it had potential to be a good story, if only the author could get those characters out of bed.

I have not had the pleasure to read book one of this series, but was told this would be ok as a stand alone but some parts may seem rushed. Honestly I didn’t have any issues with a rushy feeling maybe because KA James caught my attention right off the back in fact it was during the prologue and she never let go.

The plot was interesting and believable especially with a suggested playlist and references on happenings of the here and now. Ms James has the skill to describe the characters so well you would think you actually knew them. Guess who has a new book boyfriend? ☺️ The perfect amount of words for each chapter to keep you moving along and before you realize you have finish and now looking for more. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves contemporary romance with lots of spice. I’m giving this book four stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Summer Vacation Must Read!

Sebastian and Alex are so well written. I found these characters in Don’t Tell Anyone and couldn’t wait to read their story. As supporting characters in the first book, they were interesting. The couple are explosive in this book! While this concept has been done before, this book felt different. I couldn’t put it down. This series makes a perfect summer read for the beach or vacation. I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with

I went into this book with low expectations thinking it might be quite plain but man was I wrong!

So Alex and Sebastian have a one night stand.. and another.. and another over time until Alex realises theyre not exclusive and puts an end to it despite her best friend being married to his best friend.
Fast forward and Sebastian the playboy billionaire needs to take an attorney with him while trying to purchase a new nightclub for his enterprise and selects Alex to do this. Here's the catch, the seller is a family guy and so 'Bastian falls into character and introduces Alex as his fiance!!!! And chaos ensures...

I adored this book! I've not read Meghan and Coopers book (1) so I must but I'm also SO invested for book 3 and catching up with Savannah and Noah!
This book has a cutesy love story, simple but very effective story line with lots of side plots and has LOTS of heat 🔥 which we all love!

alex and sebastian’s story is so beautifully written, the tension, chemistry, raw emotion, all of it just drags you in. the push and pull of true love is displayed in such a powerful yet heartbreaking way.

the normalization of therapy, anxiety, and human emotions had me sobbing on my floor. like literally. recently ive been reading more contemporary romance over dark romance & this lit a fire i didn’t know was possible.

now what you all really wanna know. the smut was absolutely, positively, truly disgusting. “eyes on me princess” “im gonna mhm(; you so hard you’ll feel me for weeks” ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, GIVE IT TO ME. i didn’t know i needed a sebastian until now.

overall this is one of my favorite contemporary romances so far, ka james simply served this on a platter and i ate it up.

This was the second book by this author and is part of the breaking rules series. I Loved this book, and it is my favorite so far. I liked the pace and banter way better than the first book. Also the spice was turned up in this second installment of the series and It was so good. The push and pull that Alex and Sebastian have toward each other was great. It was that magnetic attraction that led to them ending up together, and the subplot of Sebastian finding things out about his past added to his story and you can see why he made the decisions he made with regards to his personal relationships. He was an ass sometimes but it made me love him even more in the end. I love the growth they both had together. I’ve added the 1st book to my TBR list and I can’t wait for the next book!

I was so excited to read this extension of the Breaking The Rules series by KA James. Don't Fall In Love (a stand alone) is the second in the series and KA's second book. I fell in love with these characters fast. It was difficult to put down because i needed to see how the story played out for Alex and Bastien. Quite a bit of steam and spice throughout the book. I loved it!

In which that it’s turns out into a HOT 🥵 unforgettable night! 🫣 Yes, it starts with the spice scene which gets you hooked on the spot… eventually it goes more into detail on how Sebastian is a British billionaire who enjoy’s being possessive alpha male!!! He denies his feelings towards Alex, due to he is scared to love someone. Alex does fall for him and tells him how she feels for him but he pushes her away. During all this Sebastian does trick Alex into being his fiancé/wife in order for him to buy this one location in Chicago!!! This is a must read book!!! I totally recommend it!!!!

Where to start. I could not put this book down. I really enjoyed the characters of Alex & Sebastian. I was so into this story with these characters. It had steam and spice. I absolutely loved as the reader the chemistry between Alex & Sebastian. I did not want this book as the reader to end as I was interested and invested in these characters from page one to the very end! KA James has definitely become a new favorite author to this reader. These two will definitely stay with me for quite sometime! 💜💜

This was a wonderfully angsty love story! I loved how Alex was unafraid to take what she needed from Sebastian but still be willing to walk away when he couldn't give her EVERYTHING she felt she deserved. She was a little easily manipulated but then would turn around and give as good as she got. The spice was definitely a 4 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. The story was sometimes a little choppy, but overall, I really enjoyed it.

After reading KA James debut novel I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the sequel.
This did not disappoint. Sebastian was such a great MC to follow. Though, I would have liked a little more detail on his history.
I loved that Cooper and fam made an appearance as well.
I found Alex a little over the top at times but overall the story line was great. Throwing in the spice it was *chefs kiss*
