Another brilliant book in the Cerberus series.
It seems as one thing calms down in Tony's life, the rest goes Fubar!!
He's checking out a tip from his consciousness. Which of course turns out to be on target.
This happens when a HUGE 'man' is found to be taking out people he knows.
It appears, kills them, then disappears.
Everyone seems to realise the being near him could put them in danger.
Everything is leading back to one person/thing, Victoria!
Loving the Mendoza series and all the Supernatural things going bump in the night 😁😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Tony is in over his head and has a golem trying to kill his friends
CERBERUS has many secrets and Agent Tony Mendoza is out to unravel them. His team is at risk from the golem and the one controlling it. Plenty of action and mayhem. Cara's still dating Tony but an old flame wants him back under her thumb.

Per usual for the author there was lots of excitement. Tony is such a unique character. Frightening in his abilities, but also self-aware of his dark side. It reminds me of Grimm from the Demon Accord series. I love Sophia. I wouldn’t mind a spin-off with her. We also need a prequel of Marlena’s exploits. That lady is awesome. The next book is going to be interesting. I can’t wait.

I swear, Tony Mendoza is half a moron. Oh he's effective enough facing those supernatural and fae of the world beneath but the bad decisions he makes, aye chihuahua!

Treasonous Magic was a fun ride to go through. I’ve enjoyed the deepening mystery surrounding CERBERUS and its past. Mendoza continues to be an interesting protagonist to follow along with. I hope to get to read more of his adventures in the future.
