I loved the opinions of the early Kansas albums. I wish there was more from band members. Some of the guys that gave comments in this book had only recently discovered Kansas which was pretty weak. I love Kansas though.

As a contributor to this book, I'm gonna pump up my own ego and that of all involved at give it a 5.

I think we could give a 4 if we want to say some colour pages would have been nice, as well as another pass over from an editor, but Durling did a great job capturing the feeling of sitting around and talking music with your friends. Each album is given the utmost time to shine and every track is discussed, and the wealth of knowledge that the writers gave to the album production and marketing and the band as a whole is outstanding.

Full disclosure, I’m a contributor to this book. But even if I wasn’t, I’d find this a fascinating read. Tim has brought together about 30 Kansas fans to share their insights into everyvstudio album. I’ve been a Kansas fan for aboutj 15 years and I learned a lot by reading this book. It also made me want to go and relisten tovsome of the albums I haven’t given as much time to.

Outstanding book ! Tim delivers a book that will make new and old fans appreciate the band Kansas on a new level ! A panel of contributors go through each album and song offering their unique insights. I highly recommend this book !
