• With its clever technical execution, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧'𝐬 "𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐄" can win your heart. After reading this book cover to cover, I discovered that…Not all books have the power to make a lasting impression on you. Another thing, though, is that I did not have high expectations for this book! I will be purchasing the paperback shortly! 🥂
• I can not even explain to you how I felt while reading it, but the entire idea and narration are spot on. This book, in some way, 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟𝐬, 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. The plot revolves around a girl named Hope. Additionally, the author uses 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 to transport you to the future. The happenings here are heart-wrenching and extraordinary. 🍻
• "𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐄" is a 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐨𝐟-𝐚𝐠𝐞 story about the 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭 of 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝. Although 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 is one of the most important characters in this story and my favorite, I also think her 𝐝𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐲𝐚 is my favorite. What a unique name! The emotions are preserved throughout the lines. There is nothing you can do about it. I was inspired to read more by this book in many ways. It starts of with Alice and Job, immigrants from India who wants to get a good life for his family in United States. The narrative turns to the focal point of their daughter, born in 2025, Hope. Hope grows up in a world where AI has changed the face of everything. By 2035. Humanity extends its ambitions further and further outward to Mars, whose colony on that new world becomes the Martian settlement of Orion 1 as the impacts of climate change worsen. Hope, and later her daughter, Bhavishya, navigate this rapidly evolving landscape, balancing personal survival with the broader quest for human progress.
The narrative juxtaposes humanity’s relentless push toward technological progress with its failure to care for Earth. Bhavishya’s view of Earth as a distant, almost mythical place adds an emotional layer to the question: What does it mean to truly care for one's "global home"?

The story of “Value” begins in the year 2035, where the author depicts how mere a part of science AI was, but as of now(2035), hovering all over the world, it has now turned into a reality that can be seen. The writer has explored various components and articulated them with the theory of “How the leading generation will be making their own world with the aid of AI”. Because, now all we can only think of will be playing as a major cast of the future theatrics. Beyond fiction, the value of each belief and aspect will automatically change with the exponential development of Artificial intelligence or superintelligence.

Each of the characters of the book has a different perspective of the world they live in. Grandma Mary who spent more than half of her life on Earth reminiscing a time before AI. The narrative follows Hope's life who eventually leaves Earth along with her daughter Bhavishya and settles on Orion 1 whereas Hope's child Bhavishya experiences an earth different from her ancestors.
Value highlights the fact that with fast changing technologies and advanced AI we are approaching a world where technology will dominate. Narrated in a simple language, the book is easy to understand and draw connection with reality. Each one of the characters are very well developed. With a medium pace and well developed characters, the book has enough twists and turns to keep the reader hooked till the end.
The main theme of the book is AI and how humans are too much dependent on it that it seems nearly impossible to imagine a life with technology. However too much dependency can have horrific repercussions too. The book highlights the fact about how AI shapes human values and relationships. Don't think this book is a brilliant blend of human emotions, technology, and environmental crises because it's more than that once you delve into it.
The story revolves around the girl named Hope, born in 2025, who became the symbol of extraordinary events that would change the history of humanity.
The constant rise of artificial intelligence, technology, and environmental displacement made the whole world move to Mars to find a new home for humanity.
The story throughout does not just cover the journey of Hope but also shows the picture of future generations, as Hope's daughter Bhavishya plays an intriguing and significant role to depict the pre- and post-advances differences of thought process in generation. Every character in the book has something to offer, and therefor reflects the literary genius of the author. The author has tremendously maintained the quotient of human emotions and intelligence along with technology.

Year 2025, artifical intelligence AI has become core important to the humans, Alice and Job are an ordinary parents to a 10yr old girl, Hope which has an AI companion name, Bud. It's wonderful how she cope up with all the things in her life with Bud by her side but a constant worry in her mother's mind is completely dependency on AI.
Later in the story, hope is now a grown up girl, due to some environmental issue Hope should leave Earth to Mars for survival.
Author had balanced both man and machine with a help of a beautiful story, that can be seen in future.
The story is soft, slow and calm with a message that how a man made AI but now it's vice versa.
It's a short read, with an interesting plot to explore.
Value, reveals its potential with both global issues and personal relationships.
Author's writing style is indeed good, and upto the mark making this book a highly recommend one!
I would love to watch a movie on the book Value.
Value holds not just about AI but personal relations with economic glitches.

We are able to see the reference of AI not just in corporate but in every sector. Similarly, the girl Hope was born and raised with the advent of AI. While one might think that this is totally a "sci-fi" kind of a book, the author proves us wrong by versatile themes. For example, human emotions are penned down, and it'll blow your mind away. The thinking across the generations expresses Generation Gap really well.
As a reader whose cup of tea isn't sci-fi, I can vouch for you that this won't be a boring read. The story was intriguing and engaging at the same time. It was a fast-paced read that made me happy.

This book is a work of science fiction where we see a future world which is taken over by AI. We see the changing world through a generation of women in a family, we see the backstory of Alice, current story of Hope and then her daughter Bhavishya.
I liked how the technology advanced and people accepted it and saw the advantages of AI, it helped humans in the book a lot but at the same time we see these humans carrying forward the traditional aspects as well like Sun salutations.
Their time on Mars and from the start of the habitation on Mars to their lives on Mars was fun to read especially seeing Earth through Bhavishya's eyes was very emotional.
I liked how the humans learnt from their mistakes and carried forward what was actually good, I wish that would happen in real life as well before it's too late.

So this is my first sci-fi read . I wanted to expand my horizons and read something different. All of you are already aware that I don’t experiment much when it comes to reading books. I did not have much to compare it to. So I started reading this book as an amateur without any expectation.

The writing style is simple and easy to understand. The story and the characters are developed in a way that it doesn't leave any gap in the mind of the readers. It was a good experience to learn wise lessons from Grandmother Mary. This could be a good read for the people who are new to the science fiction genre as it is a short read and would not bore you out. But if you are a hardcore sci-fi reader, you might feel the story is too bland.

I was reading the kindle version, which was pretty good in quality.
The value by James John offers a compelling exploration of personal and societal worth, also, delves into themes of Identity and purpose of Technology and nature and the relationship with human being.
It talks about the impact it will have if he decide to live with influence of AI and a very positive and interesting way. As the narrative asset in a very Technology dependent future it was Britain interesting to read all the I wasn't able to put it in science fiction category. The flow of the narrative is very simple yet thought provoking. I was impressed by how also used the meaning of the book to be its title. After reading I was satisfied with the name of the book.
There was a blend of Technology and nature to it and that was really beautiful to read. There were also some parts that made me frown in an eagerness to know more. I enjoyed the book pretty much.
