When brilliant but damaged Noah Jamison discovers a mysterious journal, he inadvertently stumbles into a fantastical reality and must face the demons lurking deep within his mind.
Following traumatic events, Noah quits his position at a prestigious law firm and finds solace in a job at a quirky bookstore. He reconnects with his old friend Troy Smith, a reserved and shifty figure who carries his own deep-seated distrust. Noah comes across a cryptic journal at the bookstore that excites his interest, and he enlists Troy’s reluctant aid to track down its author.
Through the journal’s peculiar instructions, Noah stumbles into the Oneiros, an extraordinary world created and remade by the collective thoughts of every human mind. He is rescued by the world’s lone prisoner, Leah Davis, a skilled survivor hardened by the harsh conditions within the Oneiros. Together, Leah and Noah venture across impossible landscapes toward the only doorway out of the Oneiros, but in order to reach that door, they must first traverse the Melas, a dark region that preys on the mental and emotional scars of any who enter. As Noah and Leah confront their innermost tormentors, Troy furtively investigates the journal’s sinister history, and all three figures unknowingly inch deeper into a treacherous design over a decade in the making.

The child of a broken home, he began writing mystery, suspense, and science fiction at the age of 15, crafting short stories with unique twists on reality yet grounded by real-world emotion. After high school, he studied philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated early with honors. In his senior year, he wrote the novel Darkness Reflected, a science fiction/suspense tale about a troubled man who stumbles into an impossible reality and is forced to confront his own inner demons.
