A beautifully designed vegan cookbook with expertly styled photos of all the dishes. Focusing on the role food has on our well-being, recipes are well-written and tend to have a lot of ingredients (but don't be deterred, many of them are spices to enhance flavour). The book is divided into two parts, the first section offers recipes that foster physical heath while the second focuses on ones with ingredients that help with mood.

While a good concept, dividing the book like they did made it feel like two books with two distinct chapters each for breakfast, lunch, dinner and desert. Even though I knew this was how the book was organised I still felt a bit surprised when the second part began again with breakfast recipes, especially since there are a lot of overlapping ingredients between the two parts.

The author is a successful content creator and you can find many similar vegan recipes using the ingredients used in the book on her website. And I can't help but to continue to wonder about online "recipe developers" who don't have cooking backgrounds or training. Sure, I suppose it is possible they are able to just create their recipes 100% on their own, but I am doubtful and think it is more likely they are initially created from another recipe as the original source. Tweaking someone else's recipe to make it your own if a-okay with me but acknowledge the original source, even famous cooks do that! Despite all this, this would be a great cookbook for anyone wanting to add more tasty vegan meals into their diet.
