I've owned this book for nearly 30 years--it's one of my favorite cookbooks. I love the way Baird Norris had with words. Ms. Baird Norris used to write a herb column for our local newspaper and about 25 years ago I had the pleasure to meet the author and to have a personal tour of her garden. In this book, Ms. Baird Norris includes historical and herbal lore along with interesting recipes to accompany the calendar year.

This contained some neat information but I also found several factual errors that mad me mistrust the rest. The recipes were not very interesting.
