Die Story war nett, aber die vielen Stellen mit unterschwelligem Sexismus, Homophobie und toxischer Männlichkeit fand ich wirklich anstrengend. Die Erzählweise war eine schöne Abwechslung zu den anderen Büchern von Lucinda Riley, da es hier keine erzählte historische Geschichte gibt. Insgesamt aber nicht so wirklich überzeugend.
