Sweet hot and fun
There is comedic moments in this book that inject humour and add a bit of fun as the Ramsey family realise someone has it in for them. And they may be the second generation of targets. Jackson and Jenna made a sweet couple.

We are now getting some insight to Jackson, Cade’s brother and Jenna, Addison’s best friend. This being the second book in the series, I feel you could read it as a standalone and not be lost, but Cade and Addison’s story is so worth the time so I recommend you go in order for this series.
Jenna was a chubby girl from the wrong side of the tracks when she met Addison in school. Forming a strong best friend bond Jenna was automatically accepted into the Ramsey clan as Addison was. Jenna has felt that spark with Jackson since she was a teenager and had a chance to seal the deal with him once by the river but he left. She had another chance at making him hers after a near death experience, but once again he walked away. Now she is a sexy hot woman who has a career and is getting ready to move back to the small town she escaped from years ago. Wanting to help Addison with her wedding means she is going to be in close contact with Jackson. I found Jenna to be a resilient woman. Being made fun of and gossiped about because of where she came from, she kept her head high and refused to let it defeat her. She was the one person outside of the Ramsey’s that saw Addison for who she really was, not the spoiled brat that her parents didn’t want. She also knew that she was a natural born submissive trapped in a stubborn, head strong woman’s body. This was going to be interesting.
Jackson and his four brothers were adopted after their parents died. The life he grew up in was abusive and saturated in drinking and drugs. Being told he was just like the man he had grown to despise he vowed to never love a woman and if he did, he would make sure there was plenty of distance between them. He knew after the river and pool events Jenna had his heart and it was going to crush her for him to abandon her but his fear of crushing her with his anger and genetics would have been harder to deal with. Knowing that Jenna saw herself as the fat girl from the wrong side of the tracks ate at his soul, he wanted so much for her to see the beautiful woman she really was but the risks were too great.
In this book we, as well as the brothers, learn the truth about their parents and the local law enforcement. Knowing the truth now and seeing a tattoo that shocked him, was all it took for him to stake his claim on Jenna, but was it too late? Jenna’s pain was deep but her love for Jackson could be deeper. I loved watching these two navigate their way through the muck and craziness that they excel in creating. They were funny and serious, infuriating and endearing. Those two ran the whole range of emotions and brought the reader to their knees at time.
While I love Cade and Addison, I do wish this book had been less on them. It was nice to see what they are doing and how their life is progressing but at times it felt Jackson and Jenna were secondary characters instead of the prime focus. I strongly suggest if you love hot BDSM reads with a twist of mystery and suspense you will find this series to be a favorite. I am going to be starting the third book, Their Temporary Sub, next so make sure you keep an eye out for my review coming soon.

Love this series!!! On Amazon it will say that this can be read as stand alone and maybe it can. However, I think you will feel lost if you don’t read the 1st one, To Love And Obey. Besides, Addison & Cade’s story is off the chart!!! You won’t be sorry for reading that one! HOT! HOT! HOT!

If you know anything about the D/s lifestyle then you will know it’s the submissive that holds the power and Jenna holds a lot of power. They have been pretty much in love with each other for years and years. It all started in childhood and it’s continued for years. It all becomes finalized when Jenna has to help plan Addison’s wedding.
Jenna is to stay with Addison for three weeks. It just so happens that Addison lives with Cade who lives with his brother….Jackson. Under the same roof Jenna is forced to deal with Jackson and vice versa. Because he’s a Dom and because she’s living there she’s to be treated like a sub and Jackson uses the “house” rules to his advantage.
In their small town there is LOTS of gossip. Some true and some…well also true! There seems to also be some corruption with the police department too. Seems that there are people out to take Jackson down and Jenna is the way they are going to do it. Will they be ok? Will they come out on top of this mess they find themselves in?

I was provide a copy of the book by the Author for an honest review.
I just finish reading this book and I love it, now I don't know which book I love more, the first one or this one, I love the characters and love how the book turn out to be, the first book was Addison and Cade story, this book is Jackson and Jenna story, I am gone tried to keep this short since I don't want to give anything away, this is a BSDM book.
The story begging with Jenna, she is Addison best friend, Addison just graduated from college, and Cade decide to throw her a graduation party, during the time that she is their she is keeping an eye out looking for Jackson, few hours later she see Jackson coming out of the ranch, Jackson is Cade brother, and he is with a female friend, looking around he end up staring at Jenna, once Jenna see him and see that his not alone she don't like it, Jackson had enough so he decide to go back in the house with his female friend, hour later and they announce that it was time to eat, when everyone left to the backyard Jenna heel got caught with something, she end up tripping and hitting her head, when Jackson his female friend where about to leave his room, Jackson look out the window that's when he saw someone in the bottom of the pool, he ran out of the house and jump in that's when he saw the person was Jenna, after that later that night they end up having one steamy hot night, but the next morning everything change, now one year later and Jenna is back at the ranch to stay with Addison for three weeks for her wedding, will Jenna cave in and become Jackson sub, or will she involve her heart and get it broken.
I really love and enjoy reading this book, I love the banter that Jenna and Jackson have going on, love their attitude love it when Jenna do things to get Jackson to lose control, I just love this series.

The Ramsey brothers are back in Jackson's Sub, the second installment of The Doms of Club Mystique series. This time around we get to enjoy the entertaining and steamy antics of Jackson and Jenna. Much like her best friend Addison, Jenna has been harboring a crush for a Ramsey brother for years - Jackson. And just like his brother Cade, Jackson doesn't think he's capable of loving a woman without hurting her. So despite his feelings, Jackson deliberately drives a wedge between him and Jenna after spending the night together. Fast forward a year and we find Jenna staying at the Ramsey's ranch while she helps Addison with wedding plans. As expected, Jackson and Jenna under the same roof makes for an entertaining read and some seriously hot sex scenes.
What was not expected, was the level of action and intrigue as we learned more about the brothers' biological parents. I enjoyed the expansion of this subplot as well as the insight it provides into Cade and some of the things he did in the first book. One of the things I enjoy about this kind of series is the follow-up on characters from previous books and I like that the author continued the character development of both Cade and Addison even though they weren't the focus of this book. Even more so, I enjoyed the groundwork she laid for the twins' book and I cannot wait until it is released.
Ms. Maxwell has provided us a well written and enjoyable novel in The Doms of Club Mystique series and I am impatiently waiting for the next book in the series.

After reading the first book in this series, “To Love and Obey”, I was a little hesitant going into this one. My main issue with the first book was that I didn’t like Cade and was unable to connect with him as a character. Jackson, Cade’s brother was a completely different story! I found him to be the perfect blend of stern Dom and sweet and affectionate boyfriend.We got a little taste of Jenna and Jackson in the first book and I was intrigued to hear their story. Jenna
has watched Jackson from afar for years, always feeling like the “unworthy fat girl” from the wrong side of the tracks. Little does she know, Jackson has felt the same magnetic attraction to her. After sharing one night of life-altering passion, Jackson breaks Jenna’s heart, pushing her away because he does not believe he can maintain a relationship. A year later when Jenna moves into the Ramsey Ranch, home to Jackson and all his brothers to help Addison prepare for her wedding, Jackson proposes a temporary three week contract for Jenna to be his sub.
These two characters have great chemistry and as I mentioned before, Jackson isn’t too overbearing as a Dom. We get to see more of Cade and Addison as a couple and I even found myself warming up to Cade a little bit. Filled with steamy sex scenes, a few laughs and an action packed mystery, this book definitely kept me turning the pages. Mardi Maxwell did a great job of developing the secondary characters and I see potential for many more books in this series.

Jackson’s Sub is the second book in this hot cowboy/bdsm series and let me tell you - it is on fire! The first book I had a love hate relationship with Cade Ramsey. He has redeeming qualities in this book that go further into both his and Addison’s past. Jackson, on the other hand may be a hard ass, but boy does he rock it. In a time of need and desperation Jackson is the one who is there for Jenna. The next morning, she is expecting him to still be there for her at least emotionally. Nope, she gets the rudest awakening of her life. Thinking she’s not good enough for him. She leaves and doesn’t come back to the ranch till one year later for Addison and Cade’s wedding.
One year later and Jackson is finally realizing his jealousy won’t ruin his and Jenna’s relationship. That is if he can finally get her to agree they can have one. Too bad Jenna started seeing another Dom.
Jackson is there, knowing she’s wearing his brand, on his land, that she will be in his bed forever more. Maybe Jenna can quit looking at what happened in the past and see what’s in her future.
I love Mardi Maxwell’s story telling ability and ability to make me get lost in the story. I can’t wait to read the next installment about the twins and the delicious sandwich they create for a woman…oh boy!! That will be off the chart hotness!!

I have to say first off Thank you to A Dream Come True Promotions for providing us with an ARC of Jackson's Sub as well as a copy of To Love and Obey so that we could write a proper review.
Though you do not need to read the first book to understand Jackson's Sub, I feel you would benefit greatly from reading it. It does give you a bit of an introduction to both characters as well as the other characters and the relationship dynamic between them.
Though Jenna has a bit of a self-esteem issue, that she really shouldn't feel, she is a strong character that knows herself well enough and knows what she wants and what she deserves. Even though she was rejected by Jackson the year before she was determined to not let him get her down.
Now Jackson is that typical stubborn ex-Marine Dom, who because of his bio-parent's disfunctional relationship and tragic death, he thinks he isn't good enough for the woman that he fears he loves. Once Jenna returns to his ranch and his home now that he knows what happened in the past a bit better he is determined not to lose the chance to make her his once and for all.
Both To Love and Obey and Jackson's Sub, have this great mix of love, BDSM and a bit of adventure. Plus they really are sexy as all hell. I definitively look forward to what other stories Mardi Maxwell brings us in this ongoing series.

This book is a condensed version of what potentially could be a great book. I was totally disappointed with the lack of information we received on each character. I spent more time trying to figure out how each of these people mingled together than it took me to read the book. It was such a good story

This book is one of those that pulled me in from the very start and kept me reading all night long. I loved all of the humor, suspense, steamy scenes, and total hotness that this book had to offer. I mean come on, who can pass up a whole ranch full of badass Doms and their hot Dom friends!!!

There were several moments that had me laughing during this story and even more moments that had my kindle steaming with the heat from these amazing characters. Mardi Maxwell has created an amazing series with these brothers and I can’t wait to see who’s story is gonna be next!!! I give this one 5 stars!!!!

Jackon's Sub... How to describe this book.... It was exciting( Yes of course it was) It was suspenseful ( Understatement) It was SEXY (A House Full of Dom brothers! need I say more) It was HOT( Warning... DO NOT READ IN THE SUN MAY CAUSE HEAT STROKE!)
Yes I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book well the series for that matter. But Jackson was interesting because of his fear of showing and falling in Love. Well okay if you must know most of the brothers have a fear of falling in love. But it is how they overcome it that makes them each unique. For Jackson falling in love happened a long time ago and he just didn't want to admit it to himself or to the woman he loved. Pushing Jenna away in the most cruel way a man can push a woman away. Yes ladies right after they have an incredible night! But don't hate Jackson to much, because he redeems himself very deliciously.
This book will give you an adrenaline ride due to the threat on their lives and the high security jobs the brothers have.

Wow... I'm rethinking my first thoughts about if I would be a good sub or not. I think I'm too stubborn and set in my ways and bossy. Although, I love Jackson. I have since the first book. He was kinda mysterious and sweet and seemed to be an all around good guy.
I was so shocked at the first encounter between Jackson and Jenna. I could have choked him how he left her after the second encounter. It was so cold and harsh I didn't know what to make of it. I loved when he told her "My Brand, My Land". He was so protective and possessive but yet soft and playful at the same time.
Jenna was always scheming with her bff and seems to get herself into more trouble and more spankings with Jackson. The back and forth these two shared was entertaining and kept you on your toes. I wonder sometimes if Jenna wasn't a little Domme deep down.
There was a lot of action packed into this book and not just spankings. Bar fights, run in's with the law, and abduction. I would say this series is educational as well as entertaining and I would highly suggest you read it.

This book rocked! I loved it. Of course it was a hot hot read, but it also had humor, drama, passion, chemistry, a great storyline and characters that you couldn’t help but fall in love with. This is the second book in the Doms of Club Mystique series. As much as I loved the first book in the series, I fell even harder for this read. Jenna and Jackson has one sexy night together and now she is back and they will take their relationship to a whole other level- three weeks of passion and hot sex. Jenna agrees to be submissive to the dominant and oh so sexy Jackson. This book could not get any hotter. Seriously? An entire series devoted to brothers who are all doms. What else could you need? The reader also gets to catch up with Cade and Addison from book one. And to top it all off, the author has thrown in a mystery. If you are looking for a sizzling read with sexy dominant men, a great storyline and hot sex, then look no farther than Jackson’s Sub.

Mardi Maxwell had me from start to finish with this lickalicious story. OMG...lost in submission with Jenna!!! The decadence, sitting on your mans lap while he feeds you...Oh!!!

I really really enjoyed this story but I'll be honest here and say it wasn't what I was expecting. I never read about a book before hand. I learned my lesson with that a long time ago. I love a good title and cover!! The title leads me to believe that the storyline will be about Jackson and the journey he and his submissive take. Like training trips to Club Mystique for Jenna. Not really so. The cover is HOT except the female cover model is thin and our Jenna is curvy! (totally loved)
Again, I really enjoyed the storyline. The Alpha hotness with Jackson, Cade and the brothers is definitely a reason to keep reading the series. The suspense and thrills kept me interested and page turning. Descriptive yummy sex scenes and a ranch full of The brothers Ramsey….MmmmHmmm!
I am TOTALLY looking forward to the next! My guess is a Menage book staring Luke and Logan??

This is the second in the series and follows on directly from the end of the first one. I really enjoyed this,the story is fast moving with different things happening. The characters are appealing and add some refreshing humour as events unfold. Addison is the main female character from the first book and her story continues in this book with the addition of her friend Jenner whose story is related as she struggles to sort out her feelings. The cast of characters is such that I am certain Mardi will be delighting us with more books as she brings each of their stories to life. I am looking forward to Luc and Logans story which I am sure will be arriving soon. Whichever character she chooses to write about next be it Zane,Ben, Mac or Thor I keenly await its arrival. Highly recommend this series if you enjoy this type of novel.

The Ramsey brothers have a kinky side that involves a lot of spanking and a bit of sharing. Jackson finally admits his love for Jenna, who is a bit shy and naïve. Together, they both come alive.
There is the relationship between Jenna and Jackson. There is also the relationship between Addison and Jenna. Cassie is introduced in the end, which makes me think that the next book will be mostly about her.
This book is not for the faint of heart. None of the sex (and there is a lot of sex) is normal, every-day sex. It is kinky as can be. Wow. There are no words to describe it! This is a great book!

OMG! Hot! Loved this book even more than the first in this series. First I'll say I love the humor & interaction between all the characters thru-out the book. I laughed everytime Jenna & Addison think they can get away with something. (Hello, a ranch full of hot, badass Doms, not happening). Love the chemistry between Jackson & Jenna. Book has BDSM, steamy scenes, emotions, action & suspense. Love Mardi Maxwell's books. Can't wait to read the next in the series & would recommend if you like this kind of books.

Sorry to say, I just couldn't stay with this book. The first thing I didn't like was that two of the main characters, Jenna and Addison, best friends, were well educated professionals in their mid 20's who acted like high school teenagers. I had to keep telling myself that these weren't teenyboppers.
At 36% of the way through the book I had already spotted two instances of failed storyline continuity, which is one quick way to throw me out of the story.
While I liked the idea of the story, I thought Jackson and Cade came across more like bullies and less like experienced doms.

This is the second in a very hot series! You should read the first book so that you get to understand the dynamics of the characters better, and to an extent the plot.
I loved the storyline, the passion was flaming hot and the sassy subbie, Jenna was wonderful fun. I loved the scenes between the brothers and the interaction of the women. This group of guys are clearly having to open their eyes to the ability of the women around them ... long may it continue. The underlying plot continues to rush along at a worryingly dangerous pace.

I am in love with this series and the Ramsey men.
Again, the writing is well crafted, the characters are rich and well developed, and the book is SEXY!

I loved this book as much as the first in the series. I read both books in less than 24 hours and wasn't ready for Jackson's Sub to end. I love the characters Mardi Maxwell has created in Rendezvous, Texas and I can't wait to read more about them in future books.
