Sometimes the deadliest assassination technique of all is a car. Beep beep vrooooom.

Wasn't feeling this volume! I don't get how 'we ride bikes really fast' is a superpower, I guess? I like the idea of Gero and his 'family' of whatever girl he's trying to bang this arc versus a 'family' of people working together on the bad guys' side, but the bad guys don't have a whole lot of personality and there weren't any exciting moments in the fights. Seeing Gero be a cool dad to Erina was nice, though!

To find a bride, Gero takes a job as a driver for the daughter of a mafioso boss and her loyal bodyguard as some of her late father’s underlings vie for top spot by sending assassins after a literal child.

But I love that we’ve expanded the world a little bit by introducing Protectors, the bodyguards who are meant to fight against Masters (the assassins) but we’ve got them working together.

Makes me hope that Gero can have a less immoral lifestyle, using his skills for good.

Another great volume

There were so many cheesy but hilarious moments. Quotes like "you can't bring a unicycle to a fight" (not a direct quote) and such.

I loved that the Wind family talked a big game about family and how Gero wouldn't understand like we didn't just witness 6 volumes of him building said family and connections. Loving the developments both character and plot wise.

okay i changed my mind, Chinatsu is the best girl. she's compatible with Gero so much i feel like seeing Yor & Loid with their Anya every time i see Chinatsu & Gero with the little girl Zhao. they already look like a family pls so cute my heart omg 😭 also Zhao's character development?!?!?! damn straight 10 outta 10.
