A Feast of Information, Concepts, and Philosophy
Alexander easily includes flashbacks of Alec, Book I. Alec has become a physicist, but struggles to hear the voice of Sandra again. He believes that she is a part of him, as she said, but he would like to hear her comments. As a scientist, Alec has earned his Ph.D, is now known as Dr. Alexander Baldwin, Ph.D. under the auspices of an older well-known physicist, Dr. Desmond McBride. Alexander has married his first love, Suzy, who is as intelligent as Alexander, but not along the same lines. They have a baby boy born to them, whom they name Sacha. Sacha is an enigma to them which strains Alexander and Suzy as parents, for they know he is different, but cannot decide how.
Eventually Alexander lectures at various universities on many new scientific theories and especially the Information Theory. Throughout the book, for those interested in the various Quantum theories, conversations between Dr. McBride and Alexander hold a wealth of information. It is like an education in itself.
Alexander continues to have dreams, both beautiful and horrific, which seem more real than dreams. He definitely believes they are to teach him new ways of thinking and he spends hours discussing them with Suzy, thus giving the reader many old and also new ways of viewing life and its purpose, including religious books. Again it is a wealth of information.
This is not light reading, but for readers who like something to get their teeth into or perhaps enjoy new perspectives, even if for the sake of argument or enlightenment, this is the book for you. It enters the realms of the paranormal, laying the path to Book III of this Trilogy, “Sacha.”
