Becca Jameson is a USA Today bestselling author of over 100 books. She is most well-known for her Wolf Masters series and her Fight Club series. Boy did I ever fall in love with Ryder and Claire!

I loved Claire's sassiness!
I loved Ryder's possessiveness and his dominance!

Love at first sight? Maybe! But, definitely Lust at first sight!

Ms. Jameson has certainly started us on an awesome "Wilde" ride!

I cannot wait to see how the Wilde family deals with the town with their name!

perfect introductory book to a new series!
Ryder and Claire are adorable! Ryder is SMITTEN with Claire instantly and loves to push her buttons. Claire is pretty much the only person who can hold her ground against the overbearing new town resident. I loved their banter and Ryder’s instant overbearing response to her.
Can’t wait to see what’s in store for Tiago’s book!

I enjoyed this book! It's a good start to a new series by Becca Jameson. While I know Becca Jameson mostly from her Shadowdaddy MC series, this one is a bit different. While there is the "daddy" element, it's not so much about age play as it is about the dynamic between the two main characters. This is an age-gap, touch her and die, over protective MMC, breed kink, with a touch of handcuffs :) Sometimes you feel like reading that, and sometimes you don't, so be aware of that. This book centers around Ryder, our MMC, and Claire the small town girl. Ryder is the billionaire who comes to town when his grandfather leaves him an inheritance, but he has to live in this small town for 10 years to get it. The town is dying and Claire wants to make sure that her loved ones and the town will survive the new heirs, so she takes it upon herself to confront him. There is an immediate attraction that she fights, but he doesn't bother. He wants her, and makes no bones about it. Lots of heat! Lots of spice and build up. Can't wait for the next in the series!

My favorite part of Ryder was the premise for this first book of a trilogy: a miserly old man has died and in his will left his fortune to any of his grandchildren willing to work and live for ten years in the town he neglected. That’s a crazy concept, and Jameson is already having fun with it.

In Ryder, she builds an insta-love age-gap romance. And it’s a true age gap, as Ryder is 18 years older than Claire! She’s lived all her life in the town of Wilde (really, the town is named after the miser as well!), staying to help her family stay afloat. Ryder is at a crossroads in his life when he gambles on his grandfather’s will. A major aspect of Ryder is that he (and the reader) is learning just how on the ropes the town and its citizens are, and whether they all can be saved is a genuine question in this book.

This is rather a bonkers story because it takes place over just a few days. When I say this is insta-love, I mean it. Ryder is gone for Claire and she for him in a completely wild way. They cannot resist one another; they just have to come to terms with the fact that their love story is more like a love instant.

I would have liked to have seen more of Ryder interacting with the town lawyer who holds the will’s purse strings and more of a sense of the town of Wilde, as well as more establishment of who Ryder was as a web designer with a life (I mean, he’s 40 years old!). But I hope Jameson does more with this in future books of this series. In the meantime, you can enjoy the roller-coaster ride that is Ryder—it takes these two about as much time to fall in love as it takes to ride a coaster!

This story gave me "Home Town" vibes from HGTV :).. rebuild a dying town and watch the people start to return and build it up step by step.

Ryder was left an inheritance by grandfather..in order to claim it, he has to move to the small town of Wilde, Az and live there for 10 years helping to bring new life to the town and the people. When a feisty young woman, Claire, barges in and confronts him about his motivations for her town, a spark is lit that cannot be extinguished. While she attempts to fight the connection, Ryder is steadily winning her over. He knows what he wants and has no issue with fighting to get it. When it appears that Claire is in danger, he unleashes a protective streak that will scare grown men when it comes to her.

I enjoyed this story and can't wait to see how we build the town as each member comes and brings their own drama and love. While there is an age gap between Ryder and Claire, it isn't "icky" which I was concerned about..Becca definitely weaved a tale that kept you engaged and had you wishing that the couple finally got their HEA.

A wonderful read, Ryder and Claire are smitten and fighting their attraction in this great read
This is a start to a new and wonderful first book in this new series and Ryder visits the town of Wildes and left all his grandchildren and Claire had not expected to meet Claire and when he sees her he gave her a hard time.
This sets up the rest of the cousins coming and cannot wait to read the following books in the continuing series and I know that you are going to love discovering each of the Wilde Kids as they come to town. The interaction between Ryder and Claire is wonderful and I guarantee that you will find this book to be thoroughly entertaining, the writing is excellent and I am sure that you will be the same as me and look forward to the next book “which hopefully will not take too long?
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Another wonderful read by Becca Jameson, she did it again in her new book "Ryder." In the beginning Ryder decided to up and move, after finding about his inheritance from his grandfather he has never met. His father left and never went back. Ryder is a web designer, works in IT, so he works from home so off he went to Wilde Arizona. When he arrived he got a lot of stares from the citizens and found out from the lawyer why. His grandfather owned the town and it wasn't doing so well. The citizens are hoping the grandchildren will help the town. Claire decided to confront him. But when she saw him she became tongue tied. This book was cute and funny. How Ryder and Claire speak to each other even though there is an attraction is funny. They make such digs at each other that just make you can't help but laugh. From start to finish I was hooked. I highly recommend this book.

Claire may be younger than Ryder, but she’s no pushover. She stands her ground, and Ryder loves her strength. Their romance is intense and engaging, but the book isn’t just about them. There’s drama with an ex, concerns from the townspeople about their future, and even a bit of mystery woven in.

Becca Jameson packed a lot into this story, but it all flows seamlessly. The mix of romance and small-town intrigue kept things exciting, and I can’t wait to read more books in the series. Ryder is a fantastic start

When Ryder comes into Wilde and gets information about everything from the curator, he sees a girl standing by his car. And then …… I will tell you nothing; you need to read it yourself, but I can say that when you start reading, it's hard to lay the book down!!! It's sad I only can give it 5 stars because it deserves a lot more

What a fantastic start to this new series! I was hooked from the very first sentence. So much so that I couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting. Ryder is a man who along with other family members, inherited an estate that had specific conditions. When he comes to town he meets Claire. She is young, feisty and a breath of fresh air. He is instantly smitten and will do anything to make her fall in love with him. She’s not sure what to make of him and first but she does know they have a true connection. These two made me laugh and cry and I fell totally in love with them. Their chemistry is smoking hot, so much so, my fingers burned as I turned the pages. I enjoyed the journey they took me on and I can’t wait for the next book!

chemistry on fire

Ryder is comical, protective, serious, and at times emotional. All of this we see throughout the story. This is what makes a phenomenal character I love and can’t get away from. He takes his responsibilities seriously including the inheritance of the town. However before he can even get involved with that there is Claire and he is gone. He will be forever changed because of her. Claire knows that that old man Wilde is dead and his relatives are coming and she is going to find out what type of people they are. Claire and Ryder’s chemistry is off the charts and Claire doesn’t know what to do so she just follows his lead and gives him issues along the way to make sure he knows that she isn’t some kind of wilting flower he can step on.

The start of a new series is always hit or miss for me and this first book in a new series by Becca Jameson is definitely a HIT! We get the basic message of the story starting with Ryder. When he sees Claire, he is instantly smitten and while she fights her feelings at first, you can tell she's into him also. This was a wonderful story that sets up why the Wilde kids are coming to town. The banter between Ryder and Claire is wonderful and sweet and watching them come together as a couple had me rooting them on. Tiago is Ryder's brother and he is in the story also so now I'm eager for his story.

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Ryder . I really enjoyed reading this story . It's a sensational start to a new series . Ryder Wilde is surprised to find the grandfather he never met included all his siblings and cousins in his will . Of course there's a clause they must move to Wilde Arizona and live there for ten years and help the town . Upon arriving Ryder meets Claire who is way younger but perfect for Ryder . When danger comes at Claire Ryder steps in and takes charge . This story is delightful and sexy with a touch of suspense . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Reading romance books has taught me that over the top, super possessive, alpha men are my kryptonite and Ryder fits that description to a T!

When Ryder moves to Wilde he isn’t expecting to settle down but once he meets Claire his heart and other body parts, decide that marriage to the sexy young woman, is in his immediate future.

I loved how unapologetically obsessed he was with her. Watching them fall in lust and love was hot and I couldn’t get enough of them.

This book is a keeper and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series. I’m giving RYDER the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval.

This is the first book in this series. Ryder comes to the town of Wilde's after a grandfather he's never met leaves everything including a town to all his grandkids. What Ryder didn't expect was to have a run in with Claire. He falls for her as soon as he sees her and gives her a hard time just to rile her up but, she goes toe to toe with him and doesn't take anything from him he's met his match in her. This sets us up for the rest of the cousins coming. Can't wait to get Tiago's story and to see how the town comes back.

Oh a great start to a new series. Ryder is ready for a new start, why not. Claire is full of sass and wants to know what Ryder's intentions are. The tension is strong with these two from the beginning and doesn't let up. There is an age gap but that doesn't stop Ryder from going after Claire. Ryder's grandfather died and now he has to basically pick up the pieces and keep the town from going under. Of course nothing will be easy and things do get a little... um difficult. There is an HEA so no fear but yowzers what a ride.
I loved this book and cannot wait for the next

In this first story we meet Ryder arriving in a dying town to see about his grandfathers inheritance. He almost immediately meets Claire when she bails him up demanding help for the town.
What ensues from here on in is a wild ride of drama, instant lust and love, dominance and Claire's in your face attitude.
I loved this book and I really enjoyed all its side characters, which just added so much extra to the story.

What a wonderful start to a new series. It is a insta-Love story with an older MC and younger mature FMC. Ryder comes to Wilde to be part of an inheritance and meets Claire. He knows the instant he meets her that she was put on earth for him. The chase is exciting and it was magical watching the moves he made to get her attention and acceptance. Loved the suspense with the ex-boyfriend and how the situation was handled. Great writing!

Ryder was far more than I expected. Claire kept him on his toes, & he surly kept her irritated hahaha I absolutely love how possessive and obsessed this man was with her from the first meeting. She’s been ready to shank this man lol I laughed & swooned so dang much throughout the entire book. Can’t wait for more of the Wilde men stories!!

This standalone, HEA story is the first book in a new series and makes for a wonderful introduction. The standout for me in this book was the characters. Ryder and Claire work so well together as they navigate the push/pull of their new relationship. While there is no ongoing story arc, I certainly hope we get some answers about the will.
