Gives a brief idea about the life and challenges Smt. Kalamandalam Saraswati had gone through. This autobiography is also an attempt to re-establish her position as a prominent Bharatanatyam artist to the new-gen for whom, she is only known as the wife of legendary Malayalam writer M.T Vasudevan Nair.

The book lacks a natural flow in several chapters and the repetition of certain facts, emotions and experiences makes it slightly monotonous, occasionally.
