Reads like a kid's report of their summer vacation
Sorry, but this reads more like a set of instructions and less like a novel. I put up with it for a few pages, thinking the writing style would improve, but it didn't. The start of any story is where the author needs to grab the readers attention and this didn't do that for me.
Well written, excellent grammar and vocabulary. Characters are thin but entertaining, the main character a little overblown in places, but overall worth reading the next book to “ find out what happened next!”
