New Testament Marriage: Lessons From Aquila & Priscilla

Rate this book
Discover timeless lessons applicable to today's marriages from the husband and wife team, Aquila and Priscilla. Although they are mentioned in four different books of the Bible, they were just an “average” couple. They didn’t hold offices in the church and aren’t world-famous today, but God used them to make a difference for eternity.

I love how Scott Pauley uses a couple from the Bible to talk about marriage. This is a very short read, but is an encouragement no matter the stage of marriage you are in. He uses the couples example to talk of the importance of building a strong marriage that would honor the Lord and how as a couple we can serve the Lord together. In the back there is a 30 day devotion to do together.

An excellent SHORT study of Aquilla and Priscilla, a couple found in the New Testament several times. Pauley doesn't give us an exhaustive list, but rather hits the highlights and gives lots of activities and resources for you to do further research yourself. A great idea for a little book that is meant to peak interest and challenge married people to serve Jesus together.

A short book looking at marriage lessons from the life of Aquila and Priscilla in the New Testament. With very practical takeaways, especially involving church and ministry involvement, this is an excellent read for couples who are already married. There is a decent sized resource section in the back which I appreciated!

HIGHLY recommend for any married couple, or even people who want to prepare themselves before marriage. Putting God at the center of the relationship is the most powerful thing we can do for our family ❤️
